They suffer deeply and silently. But,they love deeply, too. One who loves, forgives. Apologize. Raw apology! No common, politish excuses!

They are forgiving, but you shouldn't repeat your mistake, otherwise it becomes a lot harder for them to forgive you. If you apologize and be patient, they forgive, but they HAVE to see that you are truly SORRY about what you did, otherwise they are not satisfied.

I am also moon in Scorpio. When someone really upsets me, my outer response is to appear utterly indifferent towards them, as I immediately "bury" my feelings. I do not NOT WANT TO LET THE PERSON KNOW UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES how they have affected me. This is usually because my inner response is totally out of hand - very, very intense and it makes me feel like I am in the grip of a great wave of powerful energy that engulfs me like a helpless swimmer in a storm surge. It is only under great effort of will that I eventually manage to gain some perspective and control, and can maybe forgive. But not forget - how can I forget
when I gave that person had so much power over me that they were able trigger a response in me that shook me by the roots? No, even if we make friends afterwards, there will always be a part of me that will never trust them completely. I will never allow them to access that part of me that got hurt again, principally because I simply don't want a repeat performance of the inner theatrics and emotional war I just had to endure.

The party that caused offence, of course, will be oblivious to all this, and will assume that I was just was acting cold and offhand for a while, but everything's ok now. Little do they know - "Once bitten, twice shy" is very much a "Scorpio Moon" trait.

Brilliant Explanation Taineberry Thank you

If you are genuinely sorry and apologize, which they will know, and are truly your friend, cause they are very loyal. There should be no problems. But it will remain in the back of their head.
Assuming no afflicted aspects or whatnot.
