I'm a Pisces Sun with Venus in Aries girl and met my first Pisces Sun with Venus in Aries man. Oh wow... this is cool. Serious flirting going back and forth. I know that I love it when a guy makes me work for it... so I think I'm gonna make this guy work for it.

Thoughts and pointers anyone?

If he is an Aquarius/Taurus or Gemini... I think you'll be pretty happy... (With Gemini topping the charts on this one!)

If he is an Aries like yourself -- try not to kill yourselves during sex.

If he is a Pisces - it's much more complicated and you need much more advice.

PS. Can you post the synastry?

LOL... we're both Pisces. Oh great... me and my complicated relationships. We'll see if it even becomes one, but he's coming on like a freight train and I'm really liking it...

Here you go.

OHHHH OK!

I didn't realize.

Ok! That's good if you're both Pisces.
My Pisces best friend has both Venus and Mars in Aries. She had a relationship with a Pisces guy/Venus in Aries, for a few months. It did not work out long term, and she drifted away from him... She fell in love with someone else.
But they are friends to this day and have always had a good relationship.
When they were dating - she was so 'over the moon' about sleeping with him. So they were very well-matched in that sense.

There are lots of things I like about the synastry. I'm sure he is very attracted to you..
First of all the Sun/Mercury/Sun conjunction in Pisces looks great. Other Sun Signs have more problems in the Sun2Sun conjunction because they are generally more arrogant than Pisces.
But two Pisces people can really understand each other and love the similarities. You feel very at home with each other. You're not afraid to be *you*.

I like that his Mars/Saturn/Uranus are on your Moon - This is stellar! I'm sure it's very intense. There is something very special about this. I think it is a stronger chemistry than either of you have experienced!
You feel as though you can count on him to be a friend and to be reliable and be there for *you* which is so important to your Capricorn Moon.
His vibe says: "I am completely reliable and genuine.. but don't worry - it won't get boring! - because I have a crazy/impulsive streak that's insanely attractive."
Plus this conjunction is happening in his 7th house.. so he must be thinking of you as a potential partner (rather than just a date). His 7th ruler - Jupiter.. is conjunct your Juno! That looks great also.. It could be an indication of marriage.

Also - sign-wise.. I like that both of your Venuses are in Aries and your Moon (AC ruler) is in Leo.. There is a mutual fiery understanding there.. in terms of what you desire emotionally and sexually.

On the negative side of things..
Your Mercury is in Aquarius and it is un-aspected...
As an air Mercury you might desire more verbal communication. He seems very quiet which can become annoying for you after a while.
He feels a LOT, but he does not express it in so many words.
I'm not sure that you'll always feel heard... Your ideas and beliefs, might fly a bit over his head..

Your chiron is conjunct his NN.I had this with someone.
This is JUST one aspect so please don't let this throw cold water on you but I went through SO much pain in this relationship.
If I could make ONE relationship decision over again ,it would be to run from this man.
His Chiron was on MY NN.

So you were the male in my synastry.

I will look at more ,later.
I guess we can forget the other synastry

GREAT JOB Betty

Thanks for that. We'll see what happens... I'm just enjoying being pursued by him. We haven't gone out on a date yet, and I'm surely not thinking of anything beyond a first date at this point. I just really enjoyed being the one to walk away and noticing that he kept me in his line of sight all evening. Him being the first to text last night and this morning works for my Aries Venus as well, because if he's anything like me, I can tell him exactly when it gets overwhelming and he'll understand and give me some room (I hope).

By the way, he's on the outside, I'm on the inside. So the unaspected Mercury and Leo moon is his. You are true in the sense that I feel deeply but don't vocalize it often enough. I'm working on that one - learning to trust enough to just put it out there.

So who knows. I'm not going to get ahead of myself. I've already got one resident in my brain that I can't seem to shake, and I seriously don't need to get attached to someone else. Besides, I've noticed my propensity to be attracted to unavailable men, so I plan to be a little more cautious this time.

Ha ha... don't get too excited yet girls... time will tell if #1 will finally be purged from my soul... (at this point, I'd settle for him being ripped from it). LOL

Does NN mean anything when I don't know his birth time so I just used 12 noon for him? The date and location are accurate though. I'll see if I can get a birth time from him tonight or tomorrow when we go out.

Oh yeah Betty, in regards to your comment about the strong chemistry. I don't know if this is what you meant, but I was very aware of where he was at all times last night and there was serious eye contact. For once I didn't feel compelled to temper my Scorpio (Mars) stare, because he had no problem staring right back. Since he was working and I was there relaxing (at a bar listening to my friend's band), it wasn't a pick up situation because we were both sober. Ha Ha

That sounds great!

By the way.. I also have Pisces Mercury lol I mentioned it because, with my air Mercury friends I make an effort to be more talkative than comes naturally - but it can become draining. We can seem puzzling to each other at times.
But it is not a biggie!

OMG I totally know what you mean. I know exactly how I feel, but it's so hard to turn it into words. It's almost like I know there is no way that words can come close to describing the feelings so it's pointless to try... Know what I mean? Interestingly, I'm very talkative when it comes to everything EXCEPT my private thoughts and feelings.

Oooh, this is not good.... Hung out with my new friend last night. We get along waaay too well. Conversation flows way too easy.

Didn't even think about the one who's been haunting me one time...

Now I'm resisting the urge to go underground and hide. Help me be brave girls! LOL

Yes Lonake
If I see Venus in Aries,I feel the same way BUT there are woman to whom this is the best, perhaps only Venus with which they are compatible.
A Venus in Aries woman may NEED a Venus in Aries man.

Dear Jo Jo
Just "normal" advice---I would be scared stiff ,too.
Intimacy is sooooo scary.
The more shame you have, the scarier it is.
The more one feels worthless and like garbage inside, the scarier it is to let someone in.

I think there is an Erikson stage--Shame vs Isolation.I am not sure but that just hit me.

I think it is about that

Practical advice
If it were me,I would try to concentrate on HOW afraid he is.
He is feeling the same way you are,I am sure.
People have it to different degrees but all have fear of getting close.

This helps me when I feel afraid.
Please keep us posted Girlfriend.
I know I and other Girlfriends are waiting!!!

I dated a Pisces sun man with Aries asc, Moon, Venus and Merc and the fire was just too much for me, (I too have an Aries Venus, Pisces sun.)

I discovered, that with this man, he ran from his Pisces traits into his Aries traits via his sports cruiser. I have always said that femanine signs in men are difficult for the man (straight man) to handle, they spend alot of their lives questioning their sensitivity and often running from it.

Despite my Venus in Aries I am just not attuned to the Arian energy and my Pisces sun could not handle the immature, impulsivity, almost explosive Arian nauture of this particular Pisces man.

Good luck!

Thanks girls! The guy is a really great fit. He's very unusual in the sense that he isn't afraid of his sensitive side. We've been in almost constant contact since we met and have had some pretty deep conversations. I think it helps that he's a single dad of a young daughter.

As far as the idea of shame leading to the fear I have, I know that's not the case. My fear comes from a devastating heartbreak I had after my first love. I honestly didn't think I'd live through it. I know I've never fully given my heart to anyone since. It's a self trust issue because I felt like I made a bad choice. It took me decades to figure this out and I'm actively working in changing the habit if holding back for the sake of self preservation.

Ami, I love your advice to consider how afraid he is... excellent point that I'm ashamed to say I never considered.

I really feel my Arise and I can tell he does too. But its not in an immature way. It's more controlled and fun. Like we both understand we have larger than life personalities and tend to suck up the oxygen in a room so we consciously give each other the room we each need to shine, if that makes any sense. I admit that I love being the center of attention and I can tell he does too. So its almost like we take turns at it. He orbits me, then I orbit him. It's a really cool dynamic, and the best part is that we do it subconsciously.

I think one of the things that help is our mid week schedules conflict so we can't see each other every day, which goes a long way toward preventing us from becoming too intense and risking a flame out. I'm sure the intensity would be too much on a daily basis, so the schedule conflict is like a built in regulator until we get further along and see if this will actually become something real. For now we're having fun and enjoying each other's company. I'm having a great time so far. Yay!

I think it is important that you go slowly so it is good that schedules are making it so

Interesting turn of events today. He gave me the old "I'm not looking for anything serious" act. So I played it cool and told him no worries, I understood. I kinda left it hanging that I'd been asked out by someone else (which is true) and he played it cool. Then we left it that we'd hang out again whenever our schedules mesh. Then a couple hours later the texting starts up again with "watcha doin sexy?"

Men... I'm so confused... Is this a guy thing or a Venies Aries thing?

OK Jo Jo
Play it cool. He is feeling the push/pull of a relationship.
We ALL go back and forth in relationships .There is always the push/pull between intimacy and isolation as Erickson says lol

Basically, pull back and do things independent of him.
Let him chase you is what I am saying in plain English lol
