What would you say makes a person clingy? Directed mostly at romantic relationships.
Libras are known for wanting to be a "we" and do everything together. What are your experiences with them?
Cancers are kind of a given. Taurus, Pisces?
Probably mainly as their moon and venus sign.
What about aspects?

Also your definition of what it mean to be clingy and how each sign is. I feel like Libra is too dependent and needs their partner there when they drive down the road to get milk. Taurus wants you at their side duh, you are their property. Pisces I think it makes them feel better, a type of reassurance.

From my experience, cancers and taureans tend to be very clingy. Some librans as well, librans need approval ans support. Pisceans are not clingy.
We need to look at the whole chart of course.

Pisces the fish. Fish will follow you. They follow your finger around the tank. Ever seen an indoor pond? They follow they people that walk by.

Fish would go anywhere they want to, and they don't cling on you, you can't catch a fish with your hand .
Whereas a crab would catch you and wouldn't let you go, a bull would chase you if you try to run away and a libra needs you to balance him/her.
That's what I think.

CANCER!!!

my Sagittarius Stellium cannot take it!

one friend, he's a good friend like a distant cousin, but he is clingy... i don't know if anyone else feels it except me, but like the other day, he would drop by to pick up something and i say "ok but i'm busy", then he comes and SITS DOWN and drinks tea! i'm like raaaagh i'm not in the mooooood!

i always get a bit sticky feeling from him. i can't think of any other reasons than that he's a Cancer.

also dated a Cancer guy once briefly and want to erase it from my brain.

whereas, i have a girlfriend who is Cancer Sun, Mercury, with Pisces AC and Scorpio Moon. she does not appear very clingy. but she is obsessed of men. she's all the time sleeping with all sorts of different guys and getting all excited about them, but the next day another one appears and she gets obsessed of the new one... so it's an extremely quick cycle but she is getting obsessed easily, i guess...

The most clingiest person I know have Venus in Pisces. Perfect example of the following fish. Can't even go shopping she has to stand one inch next to me when I'm looking at something O_O And so many more examples I don't even have the finger energy to type.
Nothing else would makes her clingy in her chart.
Also her grandmother sun in Pisces, needs to have everyone call her when they are on their way home and must tell her every time you go anywhere. Wants to go everywhere with her daughter when she goes out.
Also know you those sucky fish or even bitey ones? They bite or suck on your finger and you cannot get them off.

Those obsessions have to do with her moon in scorpio

OK, what does a fish clinging to you have to do with one in your hand? O_o

A being who is still afraid. Still clings to the mother father image. Afraid of the power within oneself. Afraid to know oneself. Afraid to stand alone.

Well this opinion will be quite unpopular but in my experience its air influenced...especially as Moon or Venus. They have this almost compulsive need for human contact and I'm always finding that I need to extricate myself in tricky ways just for some time alone.

I would agree that Cancer Moon is very co-dependent, fiscally and emotionally speaking. I always feel like they want to consume me like breast milk (yuck)...but I think that has more to do with an underlying pet theory of mine concerning Sun/Moon conjunctions in synastry (hint: they aren't all they're cracked up to be).

So then you probably feel that Libra is the most?

Yes, Libra most of all. My ex had this as a Venus placement (and a Scorpio Sun/Pisces Moon) and needed to know where I was at all times. I had a friend who's a Double Libra and she's needy (mostly for approval) in romance and friendships. And very sensitive....that's the other thing people forget about those born on the New Moon. Aquarians are second on the list for me because they freak out if you haven't commented on their FB in 24 hours (they are really weird about social networking). Gemini is a very distant 3rd.

I am sort of clingy but not in an exaggerated way.

Sun in Cancer, Moon in Virgo, Scorpio ASC. Because my 7th house is empty I never felt the need to be in a relationship. Are not vital for me. But when I was I liked to spend time together with the loved one but not in 24/7 way.

although i cannot stand clingy people, i think i have a little tendency to be clingy in certain situations. but i consciously try to avoid that to happen.

i think it's my chart ruler Jupiter in Cancer, in Gemini-ruled 7th house. in a way i mirror myself and need another to reassure my own existence.

eta: and that Jupiter opposes my Sun in the 1st. so it's full of conflict!
BUT, being a heavily Sagittarius-influenced person, i despise that aspect of myself. what a dilemma.

I have a Libra Moon and Pisces Venus, I suppose I can be clingy. Though, I like to change it up. I don't really cling to one person. I just like company when I go grocery shopping lol. If it's a boring errand I like someone to keep me company or the air/fire in me can't focus.

I guess I sort of get clingy with my Scorpio best friend but she doesn't mind because she's a Scorpio Sun/Moon lol.

Being an Aqua, I need my me time so I know when to tone it down. When I was younger I had a Cancer friend who would literally call me all 10 times a day and when I wouldn't answer she'd walk to my house and knock on the door until I opened it. Sometimes I would hide. She didn't understand that I need ME time.

omg amowls! That girl I was talking about earlier who would stand one inch next to me all the time has done the same thing! Well not exactly but she has come over my place when she didn't ask (oh hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!big nono!!!!!!!!!!!!!) or text me when she so happens to be nearby saying shes coming over or here, and of course she won't text and drive or answer her phone while driving either. I have hid and pretended I'm not home on a day and I was going to call her when I got out of where ever I was, but she thinks she can just come over? What?! Never called her she just came over and called me telling me she was there. O_O

Ah... I know the feeling. Although, I seem to always have that with people with Cancer rising.

One of my best friends has Cancer rising. He's Sagittarius Sun and Virgo Moon, though. He's a good friend and I can talk with him on a level that I seem to be missing with quite a lot of people, but sometimes, even though our friendship has developed mostly on-line because even though we live in the same country, we do live far apart (still nothing compared to US distances, though ), I often want to scream at him to let me go once in a while, that I'm not his and that I don't have an obligation to be there for him to talk to EVERY time! And that I have my own life to lead as well.

I actually had the same thing happen months ago, when he came to visit even though I said I didn't have a lot of time and had my household tasks to do (to which he always offers to help out, which I find incredibly annoying. I'm a very open person, but there's just something absolutely wrong and intrusive about a FRIEND folding YOUR undies! ) and I, pretty tactlessly I admit, let him know that at that time he wasn't welcome in my house. He actually started crying and seemed to seek some sort of comfort with me, and at that time I pretty much decided that he crossed the line with regards to our friendship. I actually felt he expected our friendship to be - or at least become - more than it was. He still claims it was never that, so the only conclusion I can draw from that is that he's just too clingy for my own comfort.

(Interestingly, compared to a lot of other people I've met, he doesn't really have very tight aspects with my chart. The only synastry he has is minimally 4 degrees in orb. It kind of makes me wonder why he's so clingy towards me as opposed to anyone else)

My mother, also a Cancer rising, tends to not be able to let go either. She perpetually lives in the past and if any of us don't do what she wants, she throws a passive-agressive fit. She always expects people to be there for her, but - granted - she usually is there for people when they need it as well. The only problem I have with that is if she helps you, she expects perpetual loyalty in return, and will not let go.

Then again, she has quite some Scorpio stellium as well. She actually has quite a lot of water, come to think of it.

Crazy Aquarian,

The only way to stop this clinginess is to be direct with her. Tell her that while you enjoy your company, you also need time alone in order to recharge. Tell her that if she wishes to come over, you would appreciate it if she would call you ahead of time and ask if it's ok to come over instead of showing up randomly.

It's an awkward conversation to have, but if you don't tell her that she's bugging you, then her behavior will continue.

Sounds very Freudian

Or like a mild and unerotic version of the Oedipus-complex

Yeah, I have said it many times, not directly but that I hate when people come over or surprise me coming over and how I need my space. She'll just agree. But she has boundary issues. She doesn't think much of others and will be offended and get mad if I do.....she has issues. I think its her Capricorn, she cannot admit she did anything wrong or anything close to wrong or in the family of the word meaning wrong and then play the victim ugh
