I agree. I find it intersting though that I have had comments about my eyes since I was little. When I started clubbing strangers would come up to me just to tell me that I had gorgeous eyes. Often people I don't know who I deal with (like people on checkouts or receptionists etc) will also say something to me. I don't see it as I see my eyes every day just about lol To be honest it's one of the few parts of my body that I am truly happy with! You mention 3rd and 9th house ruling eyes. Half of my planets sit in these houses. 3rd house - Venus, Mercury
9th house - Moon, Saturn, Pluto My left eye is weaker than my right. I wear glasses when using a computer for long extended periods like at work. IP: Logged |

i actually noticed just yesterday that leos have an intense stare...thanks to seeing hilary swank in conviction and having her remind me of the look in the eyes of all the leos i know. It's actually quite similar to an aries stare, but more similar to a scorpio than aries is because it's more "I see right through you"Anyway, a scorpio stare is much more awkward in nature. it has more of a sexual side to it, and at the same time, it's just shy and awkward in my opinion. so i guess that's what makes it different from a leo's stare. wow..you are right..those people do have very similar expressions.
I always felt a familiar vibe about Jeff Bridges..he has Moon in Gemini, and Virgo AC, like me. I think the Gemini Moon givex anxious/restless/innocent expressions.
Though, of course, the expression might also depends on the state of mind, a bit..and maybe it is also influenced by the rest of the chart.
I usually get told I look innocent, which I think comes from my Virgo AC with Pisces Sun-Venus conjunction opposite it. here is a slightly photoshopped pic of me(am not normally that pale..)

People say I have a sparkle in my eye...  . I do have very verbal eyes; they say EXACTLY how I feel, and are very open (as in: my pupils are always wide and - interestingly - are both different widths... the latter being genetic, which I only discovered because my son has the same thing, so does my ex and ever since I've learned about this genetic trait, I've only met one other person who has it. It's apparently a recessive trait. No one in my family has it).That my eyes are "verbal" and say exactly how I feel, could be due to my Gemini Moon, but I also have Mercury conjunct my rising, though. And that "sparkle" that people have mentioned (or even "electric" has been mentioned) in my eyes could be down to Uranus thrown in the mix as well . Not to mention that certain books describe a Sagittarius rising to have a typical "sparkle" in their eyes... So I'm voting for "multiple influences". Not to mention that they're all interconnected in what I've recently decided to call my "very busy intersection" to save time explaining over and over again  (Asc/Dsc axis with Mercury/Uranus conjunct Asc and Moon/Chiron conjunct Dsc  ) ------------------
