would you progress both charts and create a sinastry or how do yo do it?

they make reference to Kelly Clarkson lol.

this is what we got:
"You know that Kelly Clarkson song that goes, "my life would suck without you?" Replace "you" with "him," and truer words have never been spoken. Anyway, as La Clarkson so aptly puts it, you guys belong together (Forever uniiiited heeeere somehow). So, even as you're slogging through your daily grind, he provides the unadulterated fun and excitement that helps you escape the boredom. You love what he has to say, and you're always ready to try out the crazy new plans he concocts. He's psyched that you're so open-minded, and you're generally having such a good time with him that you wouldn't trade a minute for anything. Even cooler? You two can expand the entertainment into the cultural realm. Since you're both so receptive to new ideas, learning together at the museum or the library can be its own fun (shocking revelation, we know). But the truth is, it doesn't really matter where you are or what you're doing; any time you spend together is bound to be awesome. So go ahead, feel free to get your dork on if you need to"

I find it very accurate and I can relate it to our exact Venus-Jupiter conjunction. I understood from their website that they are looking at the closest aspects, but then again we have sun conjunct saturn exact, mars sextile mars and I dont know if they look at all these or only at one single aspect

I also ran it with myself and I got 95% ) did you get the same text?
"Could you guys please stop being so unbelievably ideal for each other, already? Yes, you're super attracted to each other, but everyone around you can tell that's just the tip of the relationship iceberg. You actually "get" what makes each other tick on a seriously deep emotional level (no... We're not talking about a drug-induced discussion on the intricacies of Pink Floyd's "The Wall"). And you do that weird thing... What's that called again? Oh, right. Empathize. You empathize with each other, so you're excellent sources of comfort when times get tough; similarly, you totally and unselfishly rejoice in each other's successes. To make matters even more insufferable, you're genuinely into the same sorts of music, hobbies, and entertainment; you probably even share the same iTunes playlist, and we're pretty sure we caught you giggling while watching "The Soup." Gross. So, yes: we know you're BFFs who are all "2-getha 4-eva." Now, take your little two-person perfection brigade and go somewhere you can't make us ill."

veeeeery accurate indeed ))

No, u dont have to pay anything. I think it's called the harmony report. All i know is it's not the composite one. The grupovenus.com one ks really good too i really recommend it. They both highlighted things in the relationship that moonit.com didn't say. But oh my god that website is really fantastic, I have to say. This moonit one! Wow. Amazing---I'm gonna use it every time now lol. Thank you. It was uncannily spot on with too many birthdates for it to not be accurate. I got 95% with a few people in romance, but never in friendship. One person I really am attracted to, abd the other I totally see just as a friend. I think the section in their website where they talk about celebrity relationships helpe me to uderstand how to interpret the readings better. In analyzing celebritie's relationships, they take in the friendship compatibility as the foundation of the reltionship and the ultimate predictor of whether they will be able to work through problems or not. Even for people who i am just friends with, it said very true things in both the romance and friendship compatibility. So it's more like the overall compatibility is a combination of those two readings.

Sand! I figured something out! Woo hoo. I found out you can change the birthdate on the account profile, but you can't change the one of the person you do the report with. So I just did a report with myself and every time I want to do a report I put in the person's birthdate in the account profile. Isn't that cool? This ks on moonit.com btw. Lol i dunno why i think its that much better, not really cuz the sassyrology calc does it too but I think I just hate the struggle of having to check my e-mail for it. lol, my password's really complicated. Oh and when you put in the birthdate in the profile, you have to switch from love to friendship or vice versa, by clicking edit relationship on the dashboard for it to work.

Actually the reports on Grupovenus *are* instant . It's only like 1 or 2 that are usually paid which arent. Theyre nice enough to let you have it for free, twice i think, so that's nice of them . Were you able to find the one on Astrograph?

And I totally second that btw. This website is sooo cool! It's the most accurate report I've ever found. Seriously. It's even kinda creepy how it knows things muhuhuha

Oh, and the highest I got was 95% with this guy I've liked since I was 5. Lol. He's flirted a couple times, and we have great chemistry, but we also kind of hate each other. And i asked him if he liked me and he said no. :/ Merp. So. Lol. Guess *that* one was wrong. I got 66% the nicole and paris reading thingy for friendship, too, so it's not like it says we hate each other even a lil bit. Lol. *That's* not accurate :P ......

Oh and I like how the percentages really do change. Like if the number is different even by 1% the reading changes completely as well. Pretty awesome . Shows it isn't a totally canned reading kinda thing.

Btw you can see how they calculate the reading and stuff at moonit.com by clicking on "how it works"

yup same one i got! this actually makes me wonder if astrowise should we look for someone born on the same day and close in birth time? i asked this in the synastry questions thread but no reply yet.

edit: hmm but then if you're 97 then he's even more compatible to you than u are with yourself! kinda blows my theory away i guess.

"No, u dont have to pay anything. I think it's called the harmony report."

cool thanks!

iv tried grupovenus before. i remember it's not instant. but yeah i like their reports.

glad u liked it. try changing pov's as well. like if the girl was the one wondering bout u. sometimes it's the same but iv had a few where the girl pov was lower/ higher. dunno why.

Hah! I wondered the same thing myself you would have similar aspects and the synastry would only reflect the same thing. Theoretically perfect, but there are a few things to consider in that case though:

I could go for someone whose birthday is close to mine. In fact I met someone like that and we got on great (only difference is he had Virgo Moon, his Venus was already in Capricorn and his Mars in Aquarius. Different flavours to those planets ) and he came off as calm and collected, which in theory I do look for in a man, so in theory it could have worked. But his birthday was a week after mine so I wouldn't consider that all too close anymore.

But I do ask myself sometimes if I'd get along with someone like myself in a relationship and I suppose the answer is no. What I am, what I express is exactly what I don't want in a man (I suppose my Capricorn Mars does play a role there). I am pretty fiery and impulsive and I want my man to be pretty much the opposite: calm and collected. I'd imagine a man with my chart would be a loose cannon, exactly what I don't want. So despite the perfect synastry, I think it still wouldn't work

I suppose we just cannot ignore the individual influence of the personal planets in synastry. A trine between the Venuses doesn't mean a thing if the woman's Mars wants something other than what the rest of the man's personality has to offer I suppose...

i do find it quite accurate (for myself at least) when i look at the absolute closest aspects, like 0-2 degrees. those close aspects have always shown up and played out in relationships. and i find anything that touches (or doesn't) touch my venus to be extremely accurate so i always look for contacts to that planet first and can usually judge how deeply i will feel for someone

I've only dabbled with synastry/composites so far. My initial impression was that although certainly useful in some respect, I wouldn't regard them as holding more weight in defining a person than the natal chart alone. So,I'm treading lightly as I learn more about how they can be used/interpreted, but also trying to not be overly biased against them. I started using those automated summary functions like astro.com has, and so,so,so many others.... inputting my husband's data and mine, only to end up with the same overall favourable readings. Thanks to lurking around here, I was able to get enough grasp on things to really study our charts individually, and through synastry, and after 7 years together the composite seemed to be applicable.... however, still... even though our relationship (even prior to our marriage), was never smooth-sailing, the charts do read with few major detrimental aspects between us. So, I've been left on that shore with those who "like" the idea of using synastry (etc), but find that at least in some cases... you can have all the nice little conjunction, trines, sextiles in the world and still not be "perfect, happy, or satisfied". I understand, that's just one set, but I have tried a few others so far.... my ex and I had a horrible and fairly long (4 years) relationship, and I was lucky to make it out with my life, and limbs... our synastry was plagued by squares... then, I got even more curious and put his data against his (one) ex prior to me, and again, there were many squares.... he abused her too.... the key between us was that my ex was 10 years older than me, and his ex was 10 years older than him (oddly enough or not), she too was Capricorn sun. I wish I could have known earlier about synastry so at least I'd have been warned.... After viewing a few other charts, not just lovers, married couples, but child to parent, and best friends (especially composites with friends), I really have had a bit of a change in heart. It seems that, taken with a grain of salt, and maybe used as a precautionary tool, that synastry (etc) have their place in interpreting through the stars too. (But, I still like to pour over a natal chart more! lol) --- I'm still learning~ bare with me! ~~~ and thanks to everyone for being inquisitive, and researching these things, and sharing your findings with everyone!~ so that folks like me can become acquainted with things we'd otherwise never have really known about or thought to try!~ ^^

Yeah, I agree it is really accurate. I think I was just subjective and reason clouded by emotions when I made this thread, because it makes no sense to me now. *shrugs*

Yes.
I`ve found synastry always to be true - in the sense Tainberry explained.

I also found that most often synastry is being analyzed to superficially and without context, which might make it seem wrong.

Oh and I find computer generated charts to always be lacking (because they are not able to identify relevant patterns, but just summarize the aspects).

Having said that I like the aspect description of grupovenus. But it still has to be put into context by an interpreter.

Its true what the some of the others said about looking towards your own natal in determining how the synastry or composite works out. Have had some supposed great synastry with past boyfriends, only for it not to Work out in the end. For me too many sextiles and trines in either the synastry or composite is just to unchallenging and lacks depth. Then of course my chart is filled with aggressive placements, so even though my past boyfriends thought everything was good and going well, it just didnt feel right in my eyes. I need squares and oppositions to make me feel truly alive.

I find it usually works for me. I also agree with looking to the natal. I don't have many challenging aspects in my chart, a square between moon and Jupiter, and an opp between sun/mercury and Neptune. My wife has many squares and opps in her natal. Our marriage is extremely challenging in my eyes but she thinks everything is going along well.

In past relationships, I found that the relationship worked well when I was with a woman who had an "easy" chart like me. The synastry showed this every time.

I only recently started looking into composites because of you RAS ;-) so im still learning about them and their aspects.
