Benedict and Gypsee - Taking on a parental role is pretty common with this Moon. But they (we! lol) don't just do it to parents/family but to absolutely everyone we know.
Usually it's done in a funny/quirky/sarcastic way. This is not due to 'bad parenting' though. It's just a Capricorn personality trait.

Gypsee - sorry I got carried away with this Cap Moon business and neglected to say what a nice photo that is of your son and his grandpa! He is a cutie He seems very intelligent, but also cheeky.

Cap Rising, Jupiter and Mars and overall strong Saturn influence on the overall natal allows me to get along with Cap moons (and really, anyone ) with amazing ease.

Thanks Betty

I think people overlook ALL the time the cheeky/funny side of Caps. All kinds of Caps. My son's father is a Cap sun, and he has made me laugh harder than ANY living soul on the planet, by far.

And my son, does the most unexpected things, like we'll be walking in the mall, looking for clothes for him, and suddenly he'll not be in step beside me,
I'll do the Mom paranoia, only to discover that he's standing beside a mannequin, impersonating it.
That's the sort of stuff they do.

It isn't lampshade on your head humor like Sag does, but it's even more charming, IMHO.
