Okay, here's a challenge for you. My rulet of the 7th is Capricorn and my Saturn (it is Saturn, right?) Is exactly on the cusp between the 9th and 10th.

I'm new to this house ruler thing, so...I look for the sign on my 7th house cusp? It's Leo.
The ruler of the 7th house is Sun.
Sun is in the 9th house.
The ruler of the 7th house is in the 9th. R of 7 in 9th

There are no cusps according to most Astrologers ,Darlink

My ruler of 7th , sun, is in the 4th. That I want to create a home with my partner and have them a big part of my life (creating it together) is a big thing for me. It's like a wanting to meld into one (but also have our own interests! Can't get away from Aquarius ASC influence  )For me it's actually more like a 'coming home' feeling. That song by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros - Home ... describes what I am takling about to a Tee!!! "ohh home.. let me come hooome ... home is wherever i'm with you" .. I LOVE that song! Probably because it gives me a warm gooey feeling. I wish I could share it with someone. My partner would have to feel the same way. Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros - Home it would be like coming home to someone. Does this sound about right? IP: Logged |

My 7th house cusp ruler pluto is in my 6th house...it makes sense that I would want someone to serve me in some way. I never liked the idea that I would meet someone in the workplace. 7th house is also intercepted by sagittarius (jupiter placed in 1st house) with neptune placed in 7th. Meet someone who culture is different than mine where I serve him as arm candy?? lolIP: Logged |

This is a great thread, I am thinking about things in a different way. For relationships there are work ones, intimate ones, family ones etc so depends where the emphasis is in the chart. I read on astrofix website 'the ruler of the 7th capricorn so saturn is found in the 12' and some things made sense. I never realised it before but the boyfriends I have picked for long term relationships were always father figures/more mature in ways and I love that (the ones that weren't didn't make it long term).
