i don't think sun conj venus is an indicator of solitude but more of never being settled like leonardo. if you mean solitude as in being reclusive then look at famous reclusive personalities like jd salinger, howard hughes. here's an interesting list: http://www.amiannoying.com/(S(jz45bnfllxrtil45dggumw55))/Collection.aspx?collection=47 26 number 63 might be of interest to some here. never knew that about her.

This sounds more like Sun conjunct Venus My baby girl has sun conjunct Venus in Virgo and is NOT interested in getting married I remember her telling me that she has nightmares about getting married LOL

I like being alone, even though it makes me feel depressed sometimes. Some of my friends referred to me as the "loner" lol. My placements:

By Sun conj venus and solitude we meant, atleast i and i think that mert too, is like being alone. It basically signifies loads of attraction. So how can the person be steady on one. Or how can his partner settle with him/her mentally when he is oosing all that attraction for loads of opposite sex persons and they always are around this character either literally or otherwise? It doesn't lead to a healthy close relationship, i mean like lovers. Ofcourse it also depends on other placements. Their partners catch up on this gradually and so finally they end up being alone when it comes to immediate personal life. As in being by themselves. Then who do they have? Then they feel they are not loved when actually its the other way round. This may get diluted though with other aspects and signs. IP: Logged |

Starting to feel like solitude could be the best for me too.Risk analysis: too much potential for hurt. If the potential exists at all, I don't want to exp. that again. and the potential exists, just look at all the relationships that fail, no point in playing that lottery when usually the outcome is deep pain. Don't want to put myself in the position where I might exp it again. So proper response is to avoid it all together. IP: Logged |

Thx all for answers and comments.Sun conjunct venus people wants people to love due to their charm but when A SOME TIME comes they think that they are loved because of their charm and NOT PERSONALITY.. So this is the paradox. They would want to be loved in both ways.

Yes you put it well Mert. I have got this first hand from a Sun conj Venus person who is the centre of attraction always but admitted to me once that he is not loved (that is what he thinks ofcourse). Its like a beautiful or attractive lady who knows that ppl are falling for her beauty but not HER-SELF. So she wants and enjoys it but at the same time yearns for that man who will reach HER, pass her beauty-find his way to her heart through it.IP: Logged |

Nice. Since from my childhood deeply i was thinking something like that. But then soul would choose an unaspected moon or venus. Also i would not choose venus trine jupiter, sun conjunct venus if i was to test myself. Maybe it is the gift of universe i dunno. But what you said will be right at the end-which end?- i guess. I have that power. Strong Pluto in 8th, Mutual receptive Stationary Jupiter in 6th, moon trine pluto, Strong Well aspected Saturn in 11th, Moon trine PLuto etc. An astrologer told me that your chart is very good for career and survivor. I don't know about paradoxes, but I do play puzzles frequently and was always the kid to sit down and quietly do a puzzle. Also, I used to grab the newspaper and do all the puzzles and word games. But I just like games that can be played alone, like Solitare, Sudoku, Crosswords, etc. IP: Logged |

The only good part about that interpretation is that we actually LOVE solitude, it's not unpleasant to us, we enjoy it, it's not forced, it's a choice...objectively, not a good choice, but certainly a choice that makes us happy...

I don't apply judgments to indicators of being solitary, in a natal chart. It just is what it is. Stuff in the 8th, 12th, or bottom half of the chart can lead to that type of thing. My south node is in the 12th, and four of my planets are in the 8th. IP: Logged |

NN 12th here as well, so I guess I can add that to my list for this topic
I do like to visit various churches as recreation of sorts, and watch/hear from other people re:how they came about their current spiritual discipline (all kinds) but then I also have Neptune Sagittarius in the 5th. I get high on h12 matters of spirituality, occult, psychic experiences, in general, due also to Pisces Sun in the 8th, Scorp Jupiter in the 4th.IP: Logged |
