Water relaxes me, I enjoy long showers & laying in the bath tub, I love swimming, I'd like to live somewhere near the sea in the future...Pisces Mars, Moon conjuncts ASC, Neptune has a wide orb conjunction with MC...IP: Logged |

i don't take really long showers but i take them often, sometimes many times a day. I don't really love water bodies but i love its color. i love blue water and it leaves me mesmerizedMars in aqua

I love taking hour-long showers, but I had to break that habit with the water shortage here in my state.
I just love the feeling of water spraying down on me, especially hot water, how it's kind of like fingers working on your back and massaging you.
So it's about the sense you get from it.
So planets in sensual Taurus would fit in.I have Sun in Taurus.
A feeling of deep connection to water would be Moon in a watery sign.
I have Moon in Cancer. My two sisters have Moon in Scorpio and Moon in Pisces.
Cancer would be the most prominent, as it's ruled by the Moon, and the Moon pulls the ocean; that is, the ocean follows the Moon.
I have a feeling that planets in Virgo (the Moon or Venus, as top contenders) would also make one prone to taking long showers, to end up with the squeaky clean feeling on their skin and hair. I have ASC and Mars in Leo. Leo planets would make one want to look and feel pretty, as well as looking clean and polished.

This is a interesting topic to see because i have a love for water and long showers/baths.It puts me at peace. I feel like i could sit in water all day long. In fact, evrytime i'm very upset or emotionally disturbed all i want to do is take a hot shower or bath.I drink a lot of water and also sometimes feel like i can inhale small bits of water  .Libra Asc. with pluto in Scopio first house.
stellium in 8th house, inclusing sun.
moon, mars, mer in Cancer (also stellium) ------------------

I love taking long showers. I have cancer ascendant and pisces moon. Mars in aquarius in the 7th house. I think it's related to ascendant or the moon. Being in the water calms me down.IP: Logged |

Betty Boop, what I want to know is how you arrived at the conclusion that ASC or Mars has to do with long showers, love of water, etc.? Why these two? I'm curious. I want to know because those wouldn't be my first choices unless I had done research previously.------------------

I loooovvveee long hot showers. I leave the water running until it gets to the perfect temperature and then shower. A typical shower for me is about 30 minutes long. If I've been drinking wine and/or smoking it could be longer and hotter. Boyfriends can never take a shower with me because I love the water to be steaming to the point my skin is red which I've enjoyed long hot showers since I was little. I also enjoy hot baths but I have an issue with germs and often find baths to be dirty unless I shower beforehand. I loved the ocean, sea, lakes, etc when I was younger but am now grossed out by them because others go into them but I do enjoy going to aquariums and going to the beach but late at night.Libra Ascendant

Everyone that is posting in this thread is confirming my statements earlier. They all enjoy taking long WARM bathes or showers when they are stressed. It gives them ultimate peace and tranquility. Clearly more confirmations that this is a reverting back to being in the womb of the mother. Not that this is a negative thing. IP: Logged |

My Asc is in capricorn conjunct Neptune, and Mars in Taurus trine Asc and sesquiquadrate Neptune. I love taking longgggg baths (one hour each time, at least) n I have a love for water bodies: the sea, streams, lakes..etc.. IP: Logged |

I love long hot showers and baths. I have been known to fall asleep in the tub-not very safe but it's just so relaxing.In nature, I find being by water very peaceful, especially early in the morning, sitting on the dock looking out into the lake, with just me and my cup of coffee. Ahh, for those days again. But I don't like to be in the water outside of the house. I don't even know how to swim. My asc is Taurus and it squares my Mars. Trine sun and jupiter. My mars is Leo. Interesting actually, because my Venus is conjunct Neptune!  I also love the ocean! Strangely enough, actually, I prefer the feeling of vastness that oceans seem to give off rather than the limited feel that seas seem to have. Or am I just mad to think that bodies of water which are generally essentially connected give off vibes of vastness and limitation? All I know is that I really do feel the difference when I'm on the coast in Belgium looking out to the water, on the coast in Normandy and even between the coast in the East of Ireland versus the West of Ireland. I just feel much better on Normandic coasts and the coasts in the West of Ireland for some reason... Mmmmm I'll blame it on my Sag Venus  ------------------
