I'm thinking a love of water - including loving the sea, the oceans, lakes - going to the beach - swimming etc... but also having longer showers/baths than others, is a Mars thing or an AC thing.If you're like me and love long showers, could you post your ASC, your Mars and aspects? I'm curious whether they are in water signs... OR... in close aspect to water planets. IP: Logged |

I love long showers, but I also recognize the need to save the whales (conserve)...haha. I don't have a Water ASC, but my earth ASC opposes my water Sun.
My fire Aries Mars loosely squares my Neptune and water mercury.
I think water in general could give anyone an appreciation for this (see: Frida Kahlo, "What the Water gave me"). My mother has a water mars, venus and Jupiter and LOVES being near bodies of water, for instance. Even more than I do.

I loved long hot bubble baths as a kid and taking forever in the shower before school.

I take long showers, or i am told they are long. around 15-20 minutes, though when i am in a rush i can get it to about 8-10 min. If I'm shaving, it's a looooooot longer lol.funny thing is as a kid i hated bathes and showers and avoided them to the point my mom would have to chase me because i was so stinky. sag rising with mars in cap. i do have a lot of neptune influence though. I take long showers and love being submerged in water, as well as just being by the beach and I am fascinated by deep sea creatures. I hate rain, though.ASC in Gem, Mars in Sag (trine Jupiter, sextile Sun/Merc, Moon, opposite Chiron). I have a water Venus and Pluto, though. But Pluto isn't a big deal in my chart. I swim weekly about 1.5k, live near the beach and cannot imagine not doing so, I love long showers, sometimes after a run I have to have a 2nd shower for the day and I just love it! I'm always the first one in the water and the last one out. I adore the rain - winter is my favourite season.Aqua sun, libra moon, cap ascendant. Water void! Don't enjoy drinking water much, unless it's from a fresh spring. I hear somewhere that air signs love to swim because it's close to flying (think it was Linda who said it)

i do it a couple of times per week
yes i have looong showers
i love the water.
i want to get a boat and go somewhere where you can't see the land and just swim around therei have my mercury and sun in 12th house??
that's the only thing i can think of my mars is in gemini 1st house

I take loooong showers. Always have. I have Cancer Moon and ASC and Aries Mars. The only other people I know that shower forever like me are 2 Cancer Suns, one male one female, and a male Pisces Sun. I would think it's more people with a strong water influence. I have a Grand Kite in water as well. IP: Logged |

I do love long showers, but not for the water, although water does have a general healing quality and people regardless of what they have in water signs, are often reported to say that a shower can do them the world of good.The reason why I love long showers is because I have this thing for cleansing - same reason why I love saunas for example. I feel more cleansed after a long shower than I do after a short one... Interestingly, neither my Asc nor my Mars are in Water signs. In fact, my Asc is Sagittarius and my Mars is Capricorn. Interestingly, my Asc's ruler is also in Capricorn. BUT... I do have a Scorpio Sun in the 12th house. Anyway, I do have to add that I love water too. I used to blame it on my Sun sign when I was little (and oblivious to the fact that a natal chart is more than just the Sun sign  ) but now I can safely say it has probably much more to do with my Pisces IC. I quite literally feel at home in or near water. Preferrably even the ocean. ------------------

have you ever heard of bath salts? You can get high on them. THey make you extremely horny. Baths are relaxing. When someone takes a bath, they are recreating the experience of being in the mothers womb. Warm water usually, tub shaped like a womb. A lot of people enjoying eating while in the bath tub, representing the nurture of the mother feeding while you were growing in the embryo. It is all a very infantile act to take a bath but it is very relaxing and it cleanses you emotionally, physically and mentally. When you get out of the bath tub, you usually feel amazing. i read they are thinking about banning bath salts.  forgot where, in UK or EU...i take long baths. for some reason i don't like preparing the bath and getting into the shower, but once i'm in i'm in there forever. i rarely take showers but when i do, it's long. but i do not like the getting ready part and i just wash myself at the sink everyday. and i take baths once a week. i do like feeling clean, i don't know what's wrong with me! i got my chart ruler Jupiter in Cancer. then Uranus in Scorpio. i'm a bit of a water void. You could also get high on just holding your breath... I hope they're not going to illegalize that! LOL!

I am like you. I enjoy taking long showers and baths. If someone is waiting on me or they need to use the shower they usually hate afterwards because I take so long. Do you find that when you are showering, especially taking a bath, that you reflect on your life? It is a very intimate time with oneself. I recommend baths to people who are sad or depressed or unable to love themselves. A bath can get you closer to yourself. It is a religious experience for some. That is why they put candles around the bath tub. They are making the event holy.

It is funny you mention that Aya! I bought some bath salts today. Called drone. I took some of it a few hours ago and let me say, it makes you feel like loving everyone. It puts you in a wonderful mood, it is very intense. defintely a womans drug and Im such a woman. If everyone did bath salts every day, the world would be a much happier place. Make sure to take it on a full stomach though and don't plan on sleeping. I didn't and my stomach is aching. IP: Logged |

white girl i think is a bath salts product, "Drone" is what I did and I think its amazing. The high makes me very compassionate and loving. Intense loving! I was having like 5 different conversations at the same time and all of the people involved felt very loved. This woman told me that one of her friends did some bath salts and went out of her house just asking any guy she met for sex. Not that this is admirable or that is the reaction you should go for but I am demonstrating how sensual the right kind of bath salts can be. If you do it with your man when you are in a romantic mood then you should definitely feel it. You would fall in love with him all over again and he would wonder what has gotten into you. haha. I must say that the come down isn't particularly enthralling. My stomach hurts, which could be due to me consuming the salts on an empty belly and I also have a bit of the shakes.
