Aw come'on guys let's stay on topic here ^^' I personally wasn't insulted by anything in this post.

Btw, isn't Eris a "female warrior" I have it quintile my Sun/Mars/Pluto. I'll tell you this, I am determined when it comes to being a feminist. It's not that I think men should be below women or vice-versa, but equals. Though it seems in this generation a lot of men still don't see women being good as them at anything and I will personally will not accept that.

Hi Moonfish,
mystic medusa, a astrological entertainment website says that sun pluto or moon in aspect to pluto is like a super scorp, so you are what she calls 'beyond scorpio' which isn't really a label just a term for saying that in that area you have a strength. Also think of lady gaga with moon pluto both in scorpio and both conjunct. The moon is a different entity to the sun but hopefully you get my meaning.

Depends on.. well I really don't know, but not all Scorpios are like you said. Some are intimidating, some aren't.
The "intimidating" ones are only intimidating because they have an in-your-face attitude, very bully like. The ones that I know that are like that have admitted (to me) that they're insecure.
The others are very friendly, talkative and confident. These are rare though, so consider yourself lucky if you're this way or if you find one like this!!

I'm really baffled with how amateur astrologers can still espouse their BS findings on an asteroid they clearly have no understanding of. Oh well, I have a sense of humor too.


On topic: The problem is modern astrology, not Scorpio. If people approached the sign of Scorpio (and all the water signs for that matter) in a more holistic manner there wouldn't be this huge disconnect between textbook watersign and RL watersign. Scorpio may be intense and have alot of warrior-like qualities and inner strength, but it still falls in the sign of water so it isn't completely Martial law. That, and pluto, is what sets it apart from its Martian cousin Aries.

i've met a couple of scorpios
and i have a couple perminent ones in my life
i can't seem to see the intensity??
i look and i look,
they're one of the calmest people i know
i'm assuming that's not the case, but no matter what i do (some times even provoke...just a little) and nada....

however, my mom has a scorpio moon, and yeah, she's a tad crazy...
my dad has like 3 planets in scorpio (including sun) and it's like he doesn't pick up on anything...
sometimes i try sending him subtle hints regarding situations, and he GENUENLY doesn't seem to register...

Well what do you consider the Eris asteroid to be? I mean hey i just looked it up once and came across "a female warrior", i guess that why i converted the statement into a question hoping someone would let me in on what it means exactly.

I'm saying that the sign has to be looked at HOLISTICLY, considering the mode, element, rulership, myth, and real life manifestations. Alot of astrologers can't be arsed to do that and it gets on my nerves.

I am really tired tonight so not looking for a debate am just adding some points here.
Tina turner has eris in a grand trine with sun and pluto (source darkstar astrology site)she has highlighted issues both publically and privately.
What about eris conjunct sun but on other side of coin chiron conjunct the sun too? Wounded warrior?

Oh it's okay, my fault for assuming. Yea being a newcomer in astrology things are pretty confusing, but thanks that seems like the most logical interpretation on how to look at each sign :]

Eris is stationing this week people

I don't care much about asteroids, as I found astrology to be an extremely complicated... um, art combined with science I am still learning. I know very much but I don't know how to fully put the all the pieces of the puzzle together so I'm still learning about the basics. And I would like to thank Benedict Moon for the comment on Eris - I was starting to feel a little uneasy since it conjuncts my sun-ven-mars conjunction.

My conjunction conjunct Eris is opposed Pluto, so I'm not completely off topic. I'm intense, okay?

And to add my two cents to the initial question, and stop feeling like I've contributed to derailing your thread, Moonfish, my opinion is that you kind of grow into the energy. You Pluto-in-Scorp generation are a different breed anyway. It's about consciousness I think. You'll never meet a true Plutonian proud of the fact that he or she is indeed a Plutonian.
