Hi, I was born in the 3rd decan of Scorpio (20-29deg) and I can tell you I'm not an aggressive, vindictive type. Never been. I've read somewhere 3rd decan Scorpios are the gentlest of all Scorpios.

maybe, but i'm from the 1st (24 oct) and i consider myself gentle, sensitive, sentimental etc. absolutely not "intense", "vengeful" and things like that.
i've always thought that's because the closeness of libra.

it shouldn't be just the decans.

Yes,I have found that if anything mitigates Scorpio it is Libra.

------------------
It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept.
Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand.

with the pisces i think people would see you as something other than your not...pisces is all about illusions, while ironically, scorpio is about being "real"...so its as odd of a combo as scorpio/gemini

But, as a Scorpio, I find I am quite mellow and complacent. I think that's the water in me. I also find Scorpios to have a personal problem, or many, that they have to deal with in life (like Virgo).

It seems they will always have a hurdle to jump or a bridge to cross or a mountain to climb in life. Always. I've had one myself.

Other than that, Scorpios I know can be quiet and withdrawn or mellow and complacent or inclusive and pleasant, but despite all this, they're never "out there" or eccentric in their ways.

Now, one more thing about Scorpios that I have experienced. They are self destructive. Biggest flaw: destroying themselves. I find that Scorpios tend to depression more then anger.

I agree with everything said above ^

its just the energy is sooo opposite...i'm a scorpio/gemini person too, so i really know the energy...the scorpio in me often wants to be reserved but my gemini wont let me and it sometimes gets aggrevating

Scorpios are both sweet and intense. That girl you posted does look scorpio-like because of her dark features. I read somewhere that scorpio always look like they should have black hair no matter what their natural hair color is. lol. That's so true!

Scorpios are a water sign, though, and they are extremely sensitive and timid on the inside. They just hide this very well with a mask of indifference and bravado. It's their scorpion shell, you could say.

this is my opinion having been around one for about five years.

They are very true to themselves, and appear to be loyal.

And if they are your friend will do almost anything for you.

But they do have a dark side like any other sign.

I believe that Scorpios difficulty in expressing themselves fully is what cause them to express their anger frustration in other ways.

Not necessarily when you confront them.

So this may come off as unpredictable or untrust worthy.

CrabClaws, I agree. They are passive aggressive. But at the same time they will never lie to you like a libra, gemini, or leo would. I wouldnt say they are the most considerate water sign, though. I've found pisces and cancer to be more compassionate.

Oh yes, I really find so. My best friend is a Libra and she is everything I'm not. She counters everything that I am.

Now, when I'm upset, I would say it's kind of passive-aggressive. Let's say I'm cleaning and no one is helping me. I get them to help me, I make them if I have to, but I'm not in their faces or directly attacking them to do it.

i think libra is the worst sign to argue with...scorpio loves to argue, libra loves to argue the opposite point, so its just one big headache for scorpio, LOL

i'v got a libra friend myself, but she and i have never gotten into an arguement

I agree Nick
Libra makes you want to smash them in the face.
ANY Libra placement does this.Even just the Mars in Libra does it--Name withheld

Libra will be one side and then switch right in the middle to the other.
Imagine Libra moon and Aqua Sun exact combust with Mercury--my mother.
She makes going to the Chinese restaurant the invasion of Normandy .

The passive-aggressive thing... I don't know about that. I am passive in the sense that I'd rather not fight, but I will if my loyalty or my strong sense of right and wrong are affected... If I feel a line has been crossed...or someone is rude, I speak up. I have never not spoken up when I felt the time was right ( or even wrong) but warranted.

My MIL is passive-aggressive. It's a very different thing- she will say things behind your back, or grand sweeping generalizations like " I am not the only one who feels this way" and then back away and not follow it up with anything... it's childish.
I like to 'get it all out', clear the air I guess, and am not afraid of the battle that cleanses things while it happens. But I don't necessarily want the battle.
