Interested to look at unrequited love synastry charts, with tob for the person who is in love with the other at least (if not tob for both). And post their synastry with that person's chart on the inside so we can see it from their perspective. Famous unrequited loves too if you know any past or present. Also, not talking about some fly by night crush. A love that is more substantial, held for at least a year we'll say.

Leo Sun Man is the one with unrequited love; chart from his pov.

Aquarius Sun Man is the one with unrequited love; chart from his pov.

Cancer Sun Man is the one with unrequited love; chart from his pov.

Capricorn Sun Man is the one with unrequited love; chart from his pov.

HI
Isn't unrequited love a venus pluto / venus saturn thing?

Like when you advised me over that relationship that went wrong I didn't have a venus pluto aspect when I went into the relationship but it progressed to opposition and I swear that I got more demanding of him.

He couldn't commit (progressed sun conj neptune and venus conjunct neptune) and in the synastry he was cheating venus square neptune.

So I would say the outer planets could have a hand in this.

That is one possibility.
All of the people with unrequited love here have their Venus in aspect to the other person's Saturn and Pluto, hard, soft and minor (inconj). But that's not really a 'strong find' as far as I'm concerned since the number of charts is not sizable.

The subject of unrequited love in astrology is obtuse; you can read about it, but I'd rather do the research. I have about 3 diff subjects I'm doing astro research on at the moment.

not sure if anyone's mentioned this but i'm seeing that it's pretty much the person bearing the neptune that's the charmed?

all of the neptune's i saw before just scrolling to comment had neptune making an aspect to either sun, moon or venus.

definitely some of those had harsh saturn aspects but i think that neptune really softens that up!

amazing what just a little bit of water can do

This one is a bit different, but still something I suppose. He's listed in Astrodatabank as often having unrequited loves. Time rated AA.

quote:
Life was always a struggle for Berlioz. He could not make his music pay and his love affairs were not very successful. Whenever he met a woman who seemed to be ideal, he would go overboard and then find that reality was a cold lesson. He found it difficult to find a woman to feel as passionately about him as he was about her.

quote:
During his stay in Italy, he received a letter from the mother of his fiancée informing him that she had called off their engagement. Instead her daughter was to marry Camille Pleyel (son of Ignaz Pleyel), a rich piano manufacturer. Enraged, Berlioz decided to return to Paris and take revenge on Pleyel, his fiancée, and her mother by killing all three of them. He created an elaborate plan, going so far as to purchase a dress, wig and hat with a veil (with which he was to disguise himself as a woman in order to gain entry to their home).[31] He even stole a pair of double-barrelled pistols from the Academy to kill them with, saving a single shot for himself.[31] Meticulously careful, Berlioz purchased phials of strychnine and laudanum[31] to use as poisons in the event of a pistol jamming.

Despite this careful planning, Berlioz failed to carry through with the plot.

Woah, this one is a piece of work
Harriet Smithson is one of the ladies he loved very much who didn't feel for him, all I found for her was a birth year of 1800.

You're right, TM, all except for 2 had their Neptune in hard aspect to the beloved's Sun, Moon or Venus.

(ETA, miscounted, thought it was all but 1 before)

The natal I posted of Berlioz, his Asc ruler Moon is conj Neptune, and he has Venus in aspect to Saturn and Pluto.

The 2 charts that didn't have their Neptune activated so strongly in synastry: one has Pisces DSC and the other has Pisces Moon as their DSC ruler.

is that the natal one?

i don't think that one necessarily falls under the unrequited category since their thing is saturn making that square to VENUS (sry, made an edit, wrote other planet)..

one of the charts didn't have the neptune squaring anything but did have neptune making a sextile to the other's moon..

to share some of the poetry i would think the neptune feels (i found this while being the neptune, myself) i'll post a poem by john donne...

quote:
WHERE, like a pillow on a bed,
A pregnant bank swell'd up, to rest
The violet's reclining head,
Sat we two, one another's best.

Our hands were firmly cemented
By a fast balm, which thence did spring ;
Our eye-beams twisted, and did thread
Our eyes upon one double string.

So to engraft our hands, as yet
Was all the means to make us one ;
And pictures in our eyes to get
Was all our propagation.

As, 'twixt two equal armies, Fate
Suspends uncertain victory,
Our souls—which to advance their state,
Were gone out—hung 'twixt her and me.

And whilst our souls negotiate there,
We like sepulchral statues lay ;
All day, the same our postures were,
And we said nothing, all the day.

If any, so by love refined,
That he soul's language understood,
And by good love were grown all mind,
Within convenient distance stood,

He—though he knew not which soul spake,
Because both meant, both spake the same—
Might thence a new concoction take,
And part far purer than he came.

This ecstasy doth unperplex
(We said) and tell us what we love ;
We see by this, it was not sex ;
We see, we saw not, what did move :

But as all several souls contain
Mixture of things they know not what,
Love these mix'd souls doth mix again,
And makes both one, each this, and that.

A single violet transplant,
The strength, the colour, and the size—
All which before was poor and scant—
Redoubles still, and multiplies.

When love with one another so
Interanimates two souls,
That abler soul, which thence doth flow,
Defects of loneliness controls.

We then, who are this new soul, know,
Of what we are composed, and made,
For th' atomies of which we grow
Are souls, whom no change can invade.

But, O alas ! so long, so far,
Our bodies why do we forbear?
They are ours, though not we ; we are
Th' intelligences, they the spheres.

We owe them thanks, because they thus
Did us, to us, at first convey,
Yielded their senses' force to us,
Nor are dross to us, but allay.

On man heaven's influence works not so,
But that it first imprints the air ;
For soul into the soul may flow,
Though it to body first repair.

As our blood labours to beget
Spirits, as like souls as it can ;
Because such fingers need to knit
That subtle knot, which makes us man ;

So must pure lovers' souls descend
To affections, and to faculties,
Which sense may reach and apprehend,
Else a great prince in prison lies.

To our bodies turn we then, that so
Weak men on love reveal'd may look ;
Love's mysteries in souls do grow,
But yet the body is his book.

And if some lover, such as we,
Have heard this dialogue of one,
Let him still mark us, he shall see
Small change when we're to bodies to as One.

(i changed the ending.. te-he-he-heeee => )

Moon conj Neptune-makes them read into every relationship like it's the one and then get disappointed? Fragile emotional constitution? Bllured emo-perception?

Yea, I'll go with fragile. His was in Scorp so I guess he took it to the extreme when his vulnerable interest didn't go over as expected. I guess Venus in Cap at the Dsc sq Saturn doesn't play

Apparently I'm using him as the unrequited love prototype now

i've only experienced the neptune thing twice and both times and it's been hovering on my descendant and this time around, it got personal and squared the person's venus.

the first time around... MAN!!!!!!!!

with the first one, my neptune squared their moon along with my chiron

the second one, i bailed and bailed quick because we had very nice aspects to our sun and moon's mutually with mars in conjunction to venus and their venus square that neptune of mine along with chiron...

when neptune's there, you feel it!

there's no denying it and i've been longing for it for such a long, long, time!

i'd like to add that though i've been waiting for it, it caught me completely off guard and freaked me out n being the neptune influenced and 5th house person that i am, i thought it'd be best if i don't allow myself to be placed in that situation again! it wasn't pretty, guys.. really.

Neptune's the 'silent but deadly.' It ain't all flowers and butterflies there.

And I could have just added a synastry for Elton John and his interest but no tob for him. Or, rather, 3 different times.

oh, no... there are butterflies and flowers still.. which is what's so annoying about the whole ordeal, i think.. even when you're caught in that mess, there are still flowers!

even after it's all said and over, the neptune CANNOT let it go and hate that person... it's honestly, almost sort of like their 'who wants to be a millionaire' contestant and they give em unlimited calls along with free nights and weekends!

if they'd ask, yes, most likely they'd also get unlimited data!

even if the producers are like 'yo, wtf!? that be's our paycheck, bro', neptune ain't hearing it!

because they're listening to something else... u hear that?

it sounds sound of their beating drum

boom boom..
boom boom...
