Long time no speak, Lindalander's!!! I'll not beat around the bush - this is a career question! (Zzzzzzzz!) After years of hopping from job to job (administrative, sales, teaching assistant) and never being truly satisfied, I've decided to go back and complete my training to become a qualified therapeutic counsellor. I started my training back in 2005 but after I passed the first course, I decide I was too young to be taken seriously at that point in time! (I was 21). Now that I'm older, I feel that I should go with what my first instinct was. It was an instinct for a reason, after all! I've always wanted to do a job where I could help others, support them and inspire them. I thought about nursing, but I'm very squeamish and so helping the mind rather than the body seemed more ideal. I also like the fact that it's interesting and a challenge. I'm a strong girl deep down - I really think I could do this!!! I'm really after your advice on my natal chart please. I have the application forms in front of me. Shall I go for it people?! You have a lot of fixed energy that is great for just continuing on and on and on so career stability, getting and holding onto a jobthe mercury and venus positions in 10th are good, read up on interpretations of those is my advice, then look at their aspects (10th house of career). Also being in taurus is good old down to earth advice so no fairy tale s which is great, also mercury and venus in 10th would lend well to this, creating harmony at work and talking things through (a silent therapist is not going to be much help). where i hesitate for a therapist is that you must be healed yourself before you heal others you have sun conj chiron and pluto square moon both showing a need to heal then I would look at chiron aspects to see if you can be a positive influence on others. Once you have healed yourself you will be in an excellent position to help others. you don't have a lot of mutable which is knowledge, communication and ability to adapt to multiple points of view so as this is your weakness that would be an area to strengthen. Don't force your advice/opinions on clients and all will go well. The fixed energy though means you can really work hard and keep going so a valuable asset to a company. So go for it!
