You don't have to shower every day to be in good health, and body smells are NATURAL.

Ya - I'm with you on that!
But I find it relaxing to shower & I'm too used to it to quit my routine.

Actually, it's probably less 'healthy' long-term to shower daily and be extra extra hygienic - because it would lower your immune system. Many people in western society have been doing this since they were young.

Ok, this is unbelievable, but my sister is one of the most disgusting slobs I have ever met in my life, and the ONLY reason she is not THE most disgusting is because I met this one dude who hadn't cleaned his house, or a single dish, in over 2 years, and his coffee mug was unwashed in 2 years and had a thick, penetrable layer of dried coffee inside it and around it. I peeled it off when I cleaned it for him. Disgusting.

Unbelievably, my sister is a Libra/Scorpio cusp Sun, with Libra rising and Libra Venus (12th house), born in the year of the sexy snake! Aquarius moon, though.... she is definitely very weird.

This chick would go months without bathing. She had crust growing on her clothes. Literally.

True. Could be why so much of the population has constant allergies and is all-around sick as hell.

Also like others have pointed out, there is this weird disconnect in recent centuries when it comes to the human body and what is and isn't natural and healthy for it in terms of smell. Something's wrong when most of the free world actually thinks the human body is supposed to smell like flowers or all the random, artifical chemicals combined to make various perfumes and 'scents'. I mean, come on - we actually have women jamming artifical chemicals up their whoo-ha because they think there is something bad or wrong about the natural scent it emits...wtf?

Im an Aqua Sun and I dont bathe everyday. Maybe sometimes every 2 days. I just hate getting wet.
When I was younger I use to swim like a fish but as I get older I grow like a cat.
...cant stand to even be splashed.
But I really dislike the smell of body odor. Bleck!

My SO is a Gemini Sun and he HAS to shower every. single. day. Ugh, annoying.
...and he has a smell to him. Not a bad one, but one I can recognise

My sister is also a Gemini Sun and she can get pretty greasy. She always washes her face though.. Its just her hair shell let get dirty.
...and she has this weird smell to her. Ive been able to smell it since we are kids. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I dont.

-Both of them are slobs. My sister will leave food in her room to mold and doesnt hardly wash her clothes.
With my SO I can have everything in order and easy labled for him yet he STILL throws his clothes right in front of the laundry basket!

I used to be a slob when I was a teenager but got better as I got older -- then moved into my own house now I am fanatical about making sure its clean just in case someone pops by. So it's not really from a hygiene point of view, lol... germs are good it builds up the immune system. I had to see the doctor earlier this week and we had this discussion (minus the astrology part) where she said that people are overusing all those disinfectant sprays etc, and wonder why their kids are always picking up colds and stuff from other kids - no fricken immune system. I believe in cleanliness and wiping things down, but not incessant use of disinfectants everywhere.

So if we are talking about hygiene, then maaaaybe I am not the best with it ... I'll wipe down my benches with hot soapy water, not disinfectant all the time, and sometimes I leave it for a day or two cos I can get lazy hehe. But will shower every day, and occasionally twice a day. I clean my toilet once a week and my shower once every couple of weeks or so. Keeping in mind that I live alone so they are not in high use.

I have always received comments about how good I smell, big perfume collection and I am also totally paranoid abotu smelling bad so carry around deodorant, lotions, small perfume sprays, breath mints, lip exfoliator, antibacterial hand gels etc in my handbag just in case. and I prefer people who don't smell of offensive BO - natural smells are ok though and I have some fave colognes for guys too... mm Armani.
I worked with someone for 1 year recently who didn't ever seem to wear deodorant. I had to train him and I couldn't get close enough to him without holding my breath ... it was so bad and I wanted to die lol he was a Libra sun.

my big three; Aquarius/Taurus/Libra

I'm an Aquarius Ascendant and south node. I don't bathe everyday either and honestly, I don't see how other people do it, it's incredibly damaging to the skin - or at least mine, anyway. I bathe as needed - and I know when I need it.

But again, a lot of people's perception when it comes to this type of thing is so screwed up from what we've been inundated with in the media and beauty mags, that if you don't always smell like you're fresh out of the shower, they deem that an offensive bodily odor.

I actually had a discussion (read : argument) with my brother where this exact subject came up yesterday so it was incredibly amusing to me to come here after and see this topic at the top of the boards.

I forgot to add that my brother is a big slob but has gotten a bit better as he has gotten older too, but still can go daaaaaays without brushing his teeth which still stay perfect and healthy and white, even according to the dentist AND he smokes and drinks coffee haha.

I think if it wasn't for his GF he would be more of a slob. I think she is on his case a bit.

His big three;
Gemini/Gemini/Aries

I also went out with a guy who I had to train to brush his teeth otherwise I wouldnt kiss him. ewwwww. he would also go for ages without showering.

not 100 per cent on his rising sign which I think is Scorpio, but is a Gemini sun, with a Scorpio moon.

then again
I went out with a Scorpio sun Scorpio moon guy who had Venus and Mars in Virgo and he was a total Germaphobe and is also a doctor. He was annoyingly meticulous and OCD about everything.

I'm an aqua sun, and I don't bathe every day. I've always found it unnatural to do so. It dries your skin and hair. You're supposed to have bodily oils to keep everything youthful. I also rather like body odor, just not when it is sour and stale. I like fresh body odor.

Yes that's very true, in the right frame and with the right person it can be quite sexy too
