I have Neptune conjunct my Sun in Sagittarius. I grew up in a very unhygienic home, which drove my Virgo planets crazy and made me always fear that I smelled gross or seemed dirty to others.

After talking to some people about it I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they actually loved being around me, in my room, or borrowing my things because they always smelled so good. Conversely I have a pregnant woman's sense of smell. If someone leaves even their energy behind on a chair or clothing, I can smell it.

Smell is a very complex sense for me, so I have always attempted to smell as inviting and unobtrusive as the energy I give off.

The unhygienic signs I have dealt with were Aries, Taurus (though they seem to do a decent job at hiding it), Cancer, Leo (usually due to being very active. I know a couple who are just dirty and one who works on a farm but has Saturn conj ASC in Virgo, so plans her day around when she will be dirty and when she will be clean hehe), Scorpio (I add them just for the numbers I know who screw anything that walks), Sagittarius (Again this is due to either being active and too lazy to care, or being a spike haired, spray tanned, gym-rat who bathes in cologne), Aquarius (Again for all the people they sleep with, though this could be due to my Aquarians having Uranus in Scorpio), and Pisces (Of all the signs, the ones I know just rarely bathe, though Pisces bodies, smell, mannerisms, etc... all are often viewed to me as being "perfect" so I'm not the person to judge. If I see a Fat Pisces, they always look like the perfect fat person to me, if I smell a Pisces's body odor, it typically smells exactly like what I picture body odor should smell like. I can only imagine it's that damned Neptune)

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

Hey, I resemble that remark. :C

I like to think I'm not gross...shower everyday, take care of my hair. Maybe it's my Libra Asc. not wanting to be gross?

Also, I find people of all signs to have bad hygiene...perhaps slightly more Cancer and Taurus than the rest, but I also know some Cancers and Tauruses who take great care of themselves.

I am a cap sun,leo asc..cleanly to a fault i think.I wash my hands a million times a day, sometimes i think its ocd.I shower just once a day though..as opposed to my Pisces sun gem asc partner,he showers twice a day no matter what.his ears are so clean, they are kinda shiny lol we'r both germ freaks, but him with his body, and me with the house and cleaning.

I think,Sag is a little uncleanly, based on my sisters habits and being a sag sun.kinda careless with her appearance.always looks disheveled.

About the male part (though I very well could have used the phrase wrong, as I can't honestly say I know what it means for sure).

Used in response to a put-down, turning it on the one dishing out the put-down.
Source: The Three Stooges. Has since been used in countless films and tv shows, including Clerks and Friends

I hear it from certain people all the time as a funny way of saying (essentially): "I resent that remark."

From what I know, it's a way of saying "I am what you said" or something.

Like, Sand was talking about males, I am a male.

But like I said, I am unsure about the meaning of it, so...

My uncle who has Virgo Sun, Aquarius Moon, Gemini Mars, and Possibly Aquarius Rising.

My mom tells him all the time "you might want to brush your hair before you go out, JUST A THOUGHT." "You need to brush your teeth" Since he is at my family's house all the time...it seems like he only showers once a week. And he probably would shower less than that if it weren't for my mom.

Before my mom started stating her opinions more he would ware the same clothes for months.

My mom gives him speeches like "if you want to get a girl and get more clients for your business, you NEED to work on your self."

My uncle is kinda like the fat brother in law from "the Hangover" Except he is skinny and doesn't have a beard.
Like the guy in the movie, he is in his own world where he thinks he is a prince, and a smart intellectual guy. And has no idea how dumb he sounds.
Sexuality is very questionable, like the guy in the movie has his man purse, my uncle wears man tiaras...that means he puts his glasses and sunglasses over his head like a head band all the time.
Also the guy in the movie is likeable and funny, unlike my uncle. haha

haha yes sometimes he will wear sunglasses, and glasses on the top of his head at the same time.

And when my uncle wears his 'man tiaras' like that...it makes his hair stick up funny.

One time on a Sunday family dinner...When my grandma on dad's side was over, and my sister and her husband was over.....(my uncle feels awkward around my dad's side cause they are normal, and my dad's side thinks, I mean knows...he is an odd loser)

Well at this family dinner, my mom blurts out. "Kyle, you look like a mad professor." at the table, while everyone is eating. I was laughing hysterically on the inside!

And on other occasions my mom will tell him that when he wears his glasses like that two big pieces of his hair stick up and it looks like he has pigtails.

lmfao, I AGREE!

The most I go with out showering is a day. But sometimes sh!t happens, where its day two and I have to be somewhere early, and if I shower I will be late for whatever I have to do...
So dry shampoo can be a life savor sometimes.
Of course it's not the same as a real shower though.
And I'm not a very sweaty person either. I really only do if I'm working very hard. Everyday I wear too much deodorant according to some. But how can ya tell me I wear too much when I'm not the one sweating. haha

I'm not sure why, but reading this - I remembered a scene in the movie where Leo Di Caprio plays Howard Hughes... At one point he has a breakdown - locks himself in his house and wees in bottles (which are all over the place).
It's strange that I thought of this - since Howard Hughes was a clean-freak and had germo-phobia.
But the point is - his unusual behaviour was due to psychological problems.

I think it's the same for people who don't shower or care for themselves. They might have depression or other issues.

I'm thinking Pisces and Scorpio influence can account for this.. mainly the Moon. When these people are going through a depressive spell, they don't even want to eat - let alone shower. It's a miracle if you can get them out of bed. They can be very self-destructive.

Or perhaps it's a political statement/the people you're around. In Richmond I'm surrounded by anarchopunks and young people who kind of reject society's beauty standards. This includes shaving/waxing, showering often, wearing deodorant, etc. I don't really care either way and it's nice that I don't feel pressured to shower everyday or shave my legs when I don't feel like it.

You don't have to shower every day to be in good health, and body smells are NATURAL.

There's nothing nicer than a guy who has a natural, manly, musky aroma.

the most unhygienic person i've ever met in my life (beside homeless folks) is my partner.

he DOES have weird neurosis about things being clean, but it's inconsistent to my eyes.

luckily he's a vegetarian and seems to have less body odour problems than most guys, but he would go without a bath for weeks. he has just washed his bed sheets that was not washed for well over half a year...

BUT somehow, he's not a slob and does take care of himself, i know it sounds really weird, but he doesn't come off as a grubby homeless dude. i don't really understand how he does that. ah and he was a punk and lived in the filthiest dumps, but that's decades ago...

and guess, he's Virgo Sun + Stellium, with Capricorn AC.

I don't think we can narrow bad odor to a category of astrological signs. In my experiences almost every sign I've known has smelled incredible amazing and smelled pretty bad. I've had friends who were heavy smokers, who smelled like rotten cigarettes and that was by far the grossest. I just focus on myself and being a Libra I love light and fresh smells so I tend to wear a good dose of perfume. Therefore if anyone smells I won't notice because I'll be surrounded by a cloud of my own scented mist.

It's funny because for the most part everything I use for proper hygiene is heavily scented because I love beautiful smells. So as long as you take care of your own hygiene it shouldn't bother you what anyone else is doing. I've never had a partner that smelled bad, they were all pretty good at taking care of themselves. I love Men's cologne and I actually prefer Unisex scents. Again it's the Libra in me who's very into anything beautiful and scented.
