Ah, the 12th, my favorite house... I've got Jupiter, Mars & NN there, and these interpretations sound pretty accurate to me...IP: Logged |

~yeah totally...12H Sun here. Taineberry, 12H Jupiter is like a guardian angel aspect. Do you find your pretty lucky overall? My cousin has a singleton, unaspected 12H Jupiter, & she's seriously one of the luckiest individuals ever.

Well, not lucky in the sense of winning the lottery or anything, but definitely "protected" when I am in a bad situation. Many times I have been "saved" by some strange hand. One bizarre example is :. Some years back, I was walking all alone to my car in the early evening after work (I was newly employed and had no proper parking place yet so was forced to park in an unused lot down the road at the end of a long driveway which had a high fence on one side and an overgrown empty plot on the other). I noticed that my car was the only car left in the area, and that there were 3 gangster youths following me fast. The car was too far away to run to it, I couldn't go right because of the high fence, and didn't want to go into the bush on the left. I was thinking, well, might as well brace myself for a knife at my throat (violent crime/rape is VERY common where I live), when a little girl came running up to me out of no-where from behind the bushes in the vacant lot and held my hand and started walking with me, just smiling and chatting away. By this time the youths were about 15m away and I glanced around in panic, just to see them suddenly turn on their heels and retreat in the opposite direction. The little girl walked all the way to my car with me and said "bye bye" and went skipping off happily back into the vacant lot. Strange story, but true. Other than that, ok... this is awkward to say as it also sounds made up, but I am CONSTANTLY in contact with a presence that I can tune into anytime for advice/comfort etc that is "not me" but helps me and is far wiser than me. Jupiter in 12th is like in dignity (cause jupiter rules sag and pisces, nep having rulership of pisces in modern day) however looking on the web there are a number of sites that see jup in 12th acting strongly for the positive and have known someone both successful and lucky in most areas of their life with this. They have it in aries which is not so bad for jupiter.

Mercury beyond the Tropic of Capricorn from adze.comEXTRAORDINARY COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS Sun beyond the Tropic of Cancer ENERGY COMES AND GOES Your energy could come and go. Pack your schedule on the up swing. Give yourself more rest on the down swing. venus in 12th from clairvision virtual astrology (see website) Venus in the 12th house The 12th is the house of 'going beyond'. This tends to push for experiencing the higher values of Venus: universal love, a sense of cosmic harmony, high connections and spirituality. If, however, the native is only interested in experiencing the lower aspect of Venus ('Aphrodite of all the people'): light romance, search for pleasure and the ideal lover, etc., then it could be that they meet trials and disillusionment, as in the old symbolism traditionally attached to the 12th house in astrology. But for spiritual work, this configuration may be extremely powerful. Venus, in the house of transcendence, can be raised to a Neptunian status: connections with angels and high spiritual beings, flows of inspiration, merging with the Divine. If the Venusian is oriented towards art rather than spirituality, it is possible the person will sense the sacred nature of their creative activity. They can, at times, become 'art ascetics', isolating themselves and devoting themselves totally to their art. Apart from all this, according to the Clairvision principle, "Planet in the 12th, transcended planet", Venus in the 12th (especially if close to the ascendant) can simply mean a VERY STRONG Venus. In my experience, observing people with a heavy 12th house influence seem to carry a lot of suppressed sorrow with them -- especially the sun. Have any of you met a couple of twelfth house suns? I have. It's like putting a very bright light inside a box and closing the lid. Even my next door neighbor who is a double Sagittarius(ASC and Sun) stays by herself, is totally quiet, and keeps all her pain bottled up within herself. You would never guess that she was a Double Sag with a Leo Moon...until you get to know her(and you'd be one of the very few) Then it all comes pouring out full force once the defenses are down! Heck, she even has her Venus in the twelfth and you'd think she would want to get out and go places with her date, but nope, she keeps everyone she dates hidden within the privacy of her own home. I wouldn't call it very strong solar energy just because the sun is in the twelfth. Not saying that the "transcended" thing isn't true. I just think it takes a mature soul to tackle the energy of that planet correctly. It's not an automatic process just because the planet is in the twelfth house. We typically think of the sun as the ego, and I think that's correct. But I notice any planet put in the twelfth house seems to squash out it's identity, it's individual "ego" as its own entity within the psyche of that person. The 12th house is "the shadow", the house of all things hidden, house of sacrifices, and house of self-undoing... I personally think it's the most challenging house to have any planets in,(with the exception of Neptune and Jupiter) followed by the eighth house. If someone learns the lessons of how to direct the energy of the planet there,(from self-undoing to self -improving) I would expect nearly unlimited potential once that energy is directed positively. That's the cool thing about that house once you get past the darker side.... Once the "ego" of that planet has been destroyed, it can connect to the totality of the universe's infinite energy...the collective matrix grid that connects us all.(Edgar Cayce referred to this as the super-conscious) Massive changes can then take place that not only change the patterns within the subconscious/unconscious of that individual, but but can also affect the subtleties of the environment of numerous individuals without that individual uttering uttering a word. hey ho!woa!!i am really a strong 12th house type of thing but cant find in what you state in your text....we(12th house suns) often get the label of being very closed down and detouched when it comes to close relationships...i find it very degrading that the traditional type of astrology seems to be ruling amonf many astrologers of today.i was adopting all those theories way back when i started with astrology, and luckily i read a book in the beginning of this year 2011,that has changed this perspective forever!its called:liquid light of sex,by B. Hand Clow and really,if you read her analyzis on the 12th house you gonna find, that she has a full eveolved perspective on this subject and not a dogmatic one.she sees all the polarity house as one and the same.she says most people of the 12th house(sun) do hard work in early life(6th house) before they come to realize the state of total bliss(12th house).and so it is very true for me too!i have worked very hard as a young person, whether through having weekly exercise(ballet)as a child,so this requires a whole lot of discipline(6th house) and later in my late teens and early tweens i worked my ass off as a waitres or bartender around the clock, always in contact with so many people every day,6 days a week!so i also have mercury-pluto in my first house....so please dont put these prejudices uppon the 12th house personalities, cause its simply not a holistic point of view

i was mistaken saturn for the sun=personality,as i have sun-saturn conjunct in the 12th i thought all of this info applies for sun too,but its the saturn factor,sorry...the above mentioned is not concerned with the sun 12th house position but more with the saturn 12th house position IP: Logged |

As a person with 3 planets in the 12th, I don't disagree with the transendence theory, but I don't believe it comes automatically. Because this is transpersonal energy and because we ARE human, it takes work to get to that stage. IP: Logged |

now you have a point!the fruits of hard work=6th may come apparent later in life,so that one can find a blissful state of being=12th house...mrs clow says it is with the saturn return that we come conscious of the 12th house and so it was for me.it took me many years of long search and continous business in order to get myself peaceful.by now i really feel the 12th house peace, but this has not been the case till my 29th bday!
