I'm :

Leo sun
Libra moon
Aquarius rising

And this bedroom is too dark and too cramped for me. I'd go into a depression if I had to sleep in there every night.

I don’t feel the need to have that much space in the bedroom. The great room? That is another story. My original pick is very metro, very realistic, kind of masculine and indicative of my life now. Having that bedroom is very possible right now, in the present time. For my future converted old barn however:

This is not at all perfection to me but I like the bones of this room. It is not too huge and probably not that small. Hopefully a seating area will fit on the other side. The books can go in our offices. I would make the ceiling a little higher but not too-too much, I don’t like feeling like I am walking into a wholesale warehouse because this is a bedroom, a very intimate and private area, a safe haven. I like the cozy-ness of having a fireplace in the bedroom and I love exposed beams. I would definitely paint the walls a darker color - White, even “Cream”, “Eggshell” or “Ecru”, is way too stark for me. The décor in this bedroom is awful (blech at those lamps, end tables, the “art”, ceiling fan). As for space planning, the bed is also too close to the fireplace for my liking. The bed is also particularly terrible. I don’t like metal head and footboards, even heavy cast iron, because it is another thing that feels sterile, no matter how ornate it is.

This is my type of bed:

Huge and inviting. I love the wrap around-ness of a sleigh bed but the wood finish must match the finish of the beams! (Saturn in Virgo) Plus it must have pillows, lots and lots of pillows (I say this as I have eight pillows on my bed right now)…

I like feeling surrounded and warm, it is comforting…

I'd wanna get lights that can dim installed. I love a dark bedroom, lotsa black with maybe just a bit of red here and there. Oh, and I'd have a lotta pillows. That image only have one little dinky one, I'd have...5, maybe 6 or 7.

Things like this would make me never wanna leave my home, *3*

Love the easy-to-keep-clean floor and all the glorious natural light!

Can't find a picture of my ideal room but it would have sheer drapes, floor-to-ceiling windows, a ceiling fan, and hard floor (marble or hardwood...don't care..just no wall-to-wall carpet, what a dumb idea...yeah, let's take something that's easily soiled and affix it to da floor!!)

My ex has Jupiter in the 4th and he can't stand to be in a small living space, he needs lots of room. I thought that was an interesting astrological correlation. I have a Fire emphasis on my 4th, with Sagittarius on the IC and Sun conjunct Mars in there, and I love candles despite the fire hazard. (With the 4th House ruling the end of life as well, I wonder if I'm gonna end up dying in a house fire. If not death by candle, then maybe by leaving the stovetop on...I do that a lot during Mercury rx.)

We both have Air Moons (Moon ruling habitat) so air circulation is important to us....the conflict though was that he wanted artificial moving air in the form of A/C and I wanted naturally circulating air in the form of open windows, aided by the occasional ceiling fan in the summer.

Sun Capricorn, Libra Asc., and Scorpio moon

I'd like a room with a view! Or at least my bed by a window. I like nice airy rooms with like a nice dusky sunlight coming in. And bright clean colors. My room has interesting light. I like it for the most part.

Not so good if there's a tsunami coming, but oh well, might as well die in paradise.

That's not my picture but I stayed in a similar bungalow suite and it was fabulous.

Libra Sun, Asc & Venus. Scorpio Moon.

Personally I love high ceilings, open spaces and big high arched windows with lots of natural light & air. I love industrial lofts and antique furniture. So if I mix the two I get something in the line of what's pictured below. Not completely like what's in my head but you get the picture.

Omg all this talk about dying. My fourth house is ruled by Sagittarius...so...travelling? Maybe I'll die in some dramatic plane crash! Omg actually no that's terrifying. Jupiter in the Third...dying with other peepz too? Cult?

Actually the bedrooms are on the side but only have a window view. .

I knew your fishy self would like that water view. .

If course we can re-arrange the furniture and get rid of the sofas in favor of a king sized bed... But then the hanky panky would have to be taken elsewhere. Lol.
