Both the Moon & Venus deal with love, warmth, & caring feelings. When your in a relationship how high is your level of intimacy? Do you give that person your all or do you tend to be somewhat of aloof?List your Moon & Venus - signs, houses, and aspects including if they make an aspect together. [Then rate your intimacy level from 1 lowest - 10 highest] __________________________________________________________________________________________ I have Pisces Moon in the 12H that inconjuncts Libra Venus in the 7H. Moon- square Mercury opposites Jupiter sextiles Uranus Venus- semi-squares Sun semi-squares Mars squares Jupiter trines Saturn squares Uranus I'd rate my intimacy level a 4 because when things start getting to intense I get embarrased & tend to back away. I never told anyone other than family members that I love them. IP: Logged |

@Metid Hmm, well let's see you have Scorpio moon in the 12H & Leo Venus in the 9H. Moon - trines Mercury sesquiquadrate Saturn sextiles Uranus conjunct Neptune Venus - semi-square Sun sextiles Mars conjunct Jupiter trines SaturnI don't think you would have a problem showing affection other than the Moon-Saturn aspect but that's a pretty wide orb for a minor aspect. Overall I would rate it a 6-8. You tell me is it easy or hard for you to be affectionate with someone? IP: Logged |

Moon conjunct Dsc, Chiron in Gemini, opposite Asc, Mercury, Uranus in Sagittarius.Venus conjunct Neptune in Sagittarius, square MC, Juno in Virgo. I can be physically close and physical touch of someone I trust calms me down incredibly, but as for intimacy... Well, you can imagine with signs as Gemini and Sagittarius involved, that I can be quite distant. Mentally not very intimate, even though my need for physical closeness makes it seem I'm very intimate, but I do keep people at a distance emotionally. I'd rank myself a 3 on the intimate scale, because I do have some intimacy with people, but avoid it for the larger part. ------------------ [Insert catchy signature here.] IP: Logged |

Interesting topic! Me: Moon in Sagittarius -2nd house -square Jupiter -conjunct Saturn -trine MC -opposite Chiron -trine NN Venus in Scorpio -1st house -trine Mars -trine Jupiter -conjunct ASC -square MC I rate my intimacy level at 5 (emotionally) or 6 (physically). I am quite aloof in my relationships in general, not really affectionate, detached and always looking for other "opportunities"...but on the flip side, I can easily become very physical intimate and reveal personal things about myself when I trust the person..but I still keep my distance. Well you do have angular Moon and Pluto, so that ups your water quotient.IP: Logged |

Do you think the Moon/Venus/Pluto T-square is responsible for the fear of intimacy? I've always wondered how such a configuration would play out.IP: Logged |

Yea since it's angular, esp since it's conj the MC, highest pt, and Pluto since it's conj the ASC.If they were conj the dsc or ic it would be less strength (imo). IP: Logged |

Sand, your Saturn is quite afflicted, so maybe you put "barriers" between yourself and people in order to avoid feeling vulnerable. And you've got Chiron in the 8th, which makes things difficult when it comes to "real", emotional, deep sharing. You probably need to learn the true meaning of intimacy, that's what your NN in the 8th is all about.IP: Logged |

I'm definitely a nurturing and affectionate person but I don't attract commitment easily. Also, I have some square aspects to my moon. IP: Logged |

Virgo moon shows detachment lol and gem venus =/ shows flightiness and unwillingness to commit. I have moon, venus and mercury in 7th house libra (stellium). Moon and venus conjunct by 2 degrees.
I have a virgo sun and mars. Moon and venus square chiron =( Moon square neptune and saturn (7 degrees though, so not tight) It's very very hard for me to open up. I'm generally really affectionate and loving, but emotionally detached until I let you in. When I DO let you in however, I'm all consuming, BUT def not clingy lol. I will go to hell and back for the person. Treat them like a king, not like worship them perse, but put them first and always try really hard to make them happy. Since leo and cancer in my 5th house. You can imagine, I'm quite affectionate. I let my emotional guard down very slowly. The libra planets make me seem flighty, but what I find is, I appear quite independent and not too terribly serious, BUT when I make the decision that you're sb decent... I change and do a complete 180. IP: Logged |

2 ?
Some aspects point to issues with intimacy, especially Moon opposite Saturn/Uranus and Venus conjunct them. Plus they both square the Ascendant. And finally, the signs involved - Gemini and Capricorn -, are not exactly what I'd call "comfortable" with intimacy. So ?
