"5 degree also for sextiles?" ---I'm at the point where the sextile just bugs me. It doesn't hurt anything but then it doesn't really -add- that much either. I'm inclined to keep it closer, at around 2, and not factor it in much in the analysis. It's a lil friend on the side saying 'hey, lemme see what i can do for you' but you don't know if he's gonna come back and help out or not (!) what the heck! He says 'this is a way you could maybe think of doing things' but what the heck does that give you, he's a lil gnome helper. "Hey, this is really helping out. Right?"Doesn't really hold much sway. Now, if someone is *hurting* for a way out of a bad sq or opp, things like that, then I will peer over everything to find a measly sextile, no doubt. But if things aren't 'that bad' i'm not inclined to notice them much. Like I said, ime, it's a friend on the side who is in your corner, rooting for you, not like the trine who is someone always there to lend a helping hand guaranteed. "Mars is conjunct his Venus?" ---Same sign, string of conjunctions, involves personal planets and angles, and it's within 10 degrees. Put it this way, they're closer together than they are further apart. I would say that the two, via the lil conj train going on, have a definite way that they can communicate with each other. Mars can say "hi there " to Neptune, and Neptune passes is on down the line to Venus, who mistily awakens and says "why yes, hello " ^ That's how I see it, that's all. The same goes on in natal stelliums, they all work together even tho the 1st planet may be 9 deg off from the last, the orb of the conj connecting them is more important, imo. And if they're all in the same sign there is added emphasis, because when the sign changes then the message is apt to get distorted, and it's translated into a diff language (sign change) so that a planet in the other sign can understand. "still be in tune with each other" ---Yes, there's similarity and then some differences there as well.

Lonake, just a short reply again. (Sadressful days at work, yesterday I was hearing an alarm that did not exist apparently, and today my laptob broke and I had to get a new one and just hate the keyboard). I think I agree on sextiles, always thought maybe it is because the signs have nothing in commone, different modalities and different element, just that the elements are supportive. Anyway what you wrote about synastric analysis, reminds me much what I had written down myself (which now is of course lost with the other laptop). If I recall it rightly I was thinking about this: 1. angle conjunctions I am not sure if other aspects are as strong as they are usually considered to be, but the conjunctions def. are 2. nodal and Vertex-conjunctions 3. personal aspects to each other and especially sun and Moon (Sun, Moon, mercury, Venus, Mars) 4. Jupiter and Saturn to the personal planets 5. uranus, Neptune, Pluto to the personal planets about the natal pseudo conjunctions. I am pretty sure that signs and aspects work in a way that they coulour someones personality. So a Moon in Pisces might be similiar to Moon conjunct Neptune. I am not so sure if the houseplacements are relaly comparable like this, as they are related to certain life-areas. Maybe they are secondary? I mean something like Moon conjunct Neptune and Moon in 12th house. There still is similiarity there, but maybe on different levels? IP: Logged | |
