Hi allOk, so had a chat with my cancer sun/pisces moon girlie friend who was horrified at my new love interest who happens to be indian. She was like nooooo, not another international guy. I DO always choose someone who is foreign or has parents from another country. She is now determined to set me up with an english dude. I am up for it, but i am a Saggie, an astrologer once said I will always be drawn to people from other places (it is in my job too as I deal with international students and education). Is there something wrong with me?? Or is my love of travel and learning about other cultures inhibiting me in some way? I would appreciate some thoughts on this... Sparkling IP: Logged |

As a fellow Saggy I will say that you should follow your own will on this one! If you are more attracted to foreign guys, then what's wrong with that? I don't think it hinders you in any way, I would rather say that it expands you point of view and learn about other cultures. IP: Logged |

But if i choose men who are international, it can be a challenge but I LOVE learning about other cultures. It feeds my soul somehow but others dont understand this. My friend literally exasperated at me! She is is settled with a fellow cancer for last seven years. I am worried thouugh, i am using it as a way of not committing to a guy? Sparkling IP: Logged |

I have a Saggie stellium (plus my DSC ruler is jupiter) and I have always guys that weren't from the same area as me. The closest I came to dating a non-foreigner was one of my best friends AFTER he lived in Europe for 5 yrs while serving in the military... IP: Logged |

lol, i have a Sagittarius Stellium in the 1st house, and come to think of it i've never been involved with anyone from my place of origin. i even have my Jupiter the chart ruler in the 7th house! i don't really even think about it, it's all normal to me that people are different and they just happen to be from different places an backgrounds. i don't see them as "foreigners".IP: Logged |

I have a Sag DSC and I've always been more attracted to foreigners than those from my homeland. I married an American (I'm British). IP: Logged |

lol Why is she afraid of other cultures? Is that a Cancer thing? I'm curious about her chart. My background is European and I'm living in Australia - but it's pretty multicultural here. If I wanted to - I could find someone with the same background as mine, but I've never purposely done that. Ironically enough the men I've had the most problems with romantically are Aussies. Love Americans! Love Canadians! Love fellow Europeans! Love Asians! Love Africans! I can love anyone... other than Australian men lol It's a horrible thing to say isn't it? They're too cold for me. There's a culture clash and I am not the only woman who has commented on this 'issue'. A lot of my friends feel the same way. I do like them as mates though - but in a relationship I guess we usually have different expectations - due to cultural differences, and it ends in a clash. IP: Logged |

You know what, maybe I should consider who i surround myself with in this world. I need positive not negative people. My friend's reaction made me feel silly or stupid.Sparkling IP: Logged |

Hey, Im a sag and have a strong sag stellium, but i am normally attracted to those that are familiar to me. However, im not attracted to anyone really (im very fussy). Just my boyf and Leonardo Dicaprio.. haha. I am open to different cultures and so forth but feel the connection mostly with the personality and the attraction to what is 'like me.' Don't get me wrong, i think dark, exotic types can be gorgeous but there isn't that feeling of wanting it to develop into something more. I have a cancer moon, so that could encourage the wanting familiarity spesh in a connection but i also have a strong leo influence, five planets in 5th and leo asc so i would av thought that would encourage attractions towards those that r diff but, no, i think either its just my type or my moon (feelings) wants the same as what i am in appearance. However, i think if that is what you like you should go for it, without any hesitation ur friend has her own beliefs, and they're not necessarily limited; its just her beliefs n preferences; but she shudn make ur beliefs/ attractions feel 'wrong.' U r both just different and thats prob what makes u friends in the first place IP: Logged |

Your friend is being close minded... I don't know what's the big deal lol. Even though she might have the best intentions, I think you should follow your heart/will, it's your life, not hers.I only have Uranus in Sag but I do have a Leo stellium in the 9th and my currently relationship is with a foreign man. Actually, 3 years ago, I left my country to come and live with him. I went through a whole crusade myself when I decided to leave my country, lots of people went like "WHAAAAAAT?" "are you insane?". Well yea, I am insane but for a good reason. Glad I did it. So yea, follow your guts. Sunia IP: Logged |

LMAF i just checked the chart (birth time unknown) of my retard-o ex, who had this hidden fantasy (Pisces) of being some kind of an international vagabond (wannabe anarchist) lover. he "dated" all sorts of girls from all over the world, like adding each on his mental collection book like stamps and coins. i'm a bit pisssed that i got added to it. he read really a lot and was good at appearing like he was wise (NOT!).his Neptune, the ruler of his Sun, is in Sagittarius!!! that was a great revelation of the century, thanks for making me look. Hee hee...Looks like you have a double hit of the Sagittarius energy there Sparkling Sag. The 9th house is traditionally ruled by Sagittarius. Though I am not a Sagittarius, I have 3 planets in Sagittarius and I have both my Venus and Mars in the 9th house. I tend to attract and be attracted to foreigners. Not exclusively, but enough for me to think that it's a bit out of the ordinary. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about your friend. Do what you want. Enjoy the differences. IP: Logged |

Austalian men make me want to be sick...It's kind of hard when you live there. I can't stand aussie guys, I find them to be lazy, beer guzzling, childish, sports obsessed jerks. I just don't think Aussie guy + heavy saturn cappy stellium seriousness really works at all. Hence I aim to be single until somebody European comes along... OH and my moon is in Sag. It's unaspected and my only fire. It rules my 9th lol!

Anglerfish, true, i don't think i've met an Australian guy who impressed me unfortunately. :laughing" but Australian women, i know a few amazing ones.how about Kiwis? i knew a couple of nice guys from there, except they were like, "NZ is soooo boring!! someday i am immigrating to Aussie". lol. i've been there though, and while it WAS boring, it was just breathtakingly beautiful!
