wow,

That was a refreshing article. You have in essence captured what I try to live everyday. Your thouhgts are beautiful and so is the article. We all forget the purity still lies there underneath it all, all we need to do is open our hearts and be ourselves again. How strange, but i was actually sitting outside last night admiring the luminous, calming light of the moon and I will again tonight with some music!

love,

Violet

Thank you Violet,

It sounds like you already have that communication with your soul. It's a beautiful way to live ~in the moment~ embracing the sense...

Blessings of Full Moon creativity to you x

Hi guys, thanks for bringing this up. The recent Full Moon at 20 degrees Pisces was conjunct my NN. I wonder if this mean anything. I have Pluto conjunct my SN. Houses involved is the 2nd (NN) and the 8th (SN/Pluto). Anyone has read anything about this conjunction? Or can anyone vouch an interpretation? Thanks!

Wonder if I should have posted this elsewhere but I found the subject line of the original poster very relevant (straight on point in fact!). If however I have better chances if I repost this in another place, pls let me know, thanks.

Well its only a Full Moon anongrl, rather than an Eclipse, so it won't have a long-lasting impact. In fact, the energy will probably have passed by now.

What to expect? Well the North Node is the path of where you will most benefit from growth. This combination of Pisces and 2nd House brings to mind 'glorification of the senses'.

The 2nd House isn't all about money, but how we interact with the world, how we sustain ourselves physically and our relationship with our body in general.

With this North Node position I get the feeling of you needing to learn to be gentle with yourself, less self-critical, less scrutinising and treat your body with love. Ultimately we are spiritual beings and our bodies are vehicles which need to be maintained, respected and nurtured as much as possible.

Indulge in the senses, fill your world with music, touch, sensuality. Remember that you can choose how much to love yourself. Don't give away all your power to others. Sex is wonderful but it should be an expression of self, of the value we already have in ourselves... NOT the other way around...

Wow, you blew my mind with your insightful response, wax!
I never thought so "glorification of the senses" as a possible interpretation of Pisces in the 2nd, and my Taurus Moon will say you sound right!
It's true that I tend to be so much in my head (Aqua rising, strong Mars/Merc/Uranus, and Libra planets), that I tend to neglect my body. You're so right about this.
I was going to ask you what you mean by "being gentle to your body" (how do I do that) but I see you answered that already: with "music, touch, sensuality". Again my Moon agrees with you wholeheartedly! :-D
With SN conjunct Pluto in my 8th I think you're right that being less critical/analytical/scrutinizing is key for my happiness. Easier said than done though if you look at all the planets my Moon is opposite to... ;-p

thanks muchly for your excellent feedback and loving attention,

Anongrl10

My pleasure anongrl,

Gosh how I love Astrology. It's wonderful how the observations of other areas of your chart blend so naturally into the North Node picture.

Of course we all need to be kind to ourselves but I can see in your case it is your *key* to allowing your talents to function at their best

At the risk of abusing your talents, Wax, may I ask you a more specific question? It's highly pertinent to what you just wrote about "making use of my talents". My career seems dead since I lost my job to the recession. My 10th house Stellium opposes my poor Moon in Taurus who so loves sensuality, comfort, security, bodily connection to the present. My question to you is how can I "help" overcome this opposition? Does it mean that I will always be either successful in my career and disconnected from my body or connected to my body and my NN and poor without a job and with no career? My Sag Sun also craves recognition and achievements. I just don't know what kind of career can offer me both what my NN and Moon need AND what my Sun/Merc/Nept/ASC need....
I hope you will forgive my asking additional q's but you truly have a unique insight and in discussing with people like you I get a lot of food for thought. I need some decisions to make soon as T Nept has been squaring my 10th house stellium...

I am a Pisces sun, 20 deg Pisces in the 4th...

I love astrology for many things, but in hindsight is the most amazing, to me at times.

I purposely did not look up the degree of the Full Moon...

Till I read this today.

I have made major changes in my life in the last few days, and I mean major and they all link to soul expression.

I have also noticed that when I am "creative" ie: the things my heart is drawn to, cooking, gardening, reading spiritual things, being in nature, etc, I am at my most happiest, when I let the dulldrum of modern-day life get to me, I become the fish swimming downward, get very self-destructive, etc.

A wonderful manusrcipt, informative and well written!

thank you!

How interesting, hippichickie!
I feel the same as you with cooking, being in nature etc.
I wonder if your "major changes" are around 4th house issues? I'm not prying - just trying to figure out how to interpret the 4th house placement. I have my SR Sun in the 4th hence the interest!

Hi Anongrl,

I can have a quick look for you but I need to see the chart really - the MC rulers, aspects, dispositors will hold the key really. You may be able to post it here?

Thankyou Hippichick for your lovely feedback

I concur completely ~that without creativity I also feel stagnant. For me personally my source is more Uranus ~I must create and work on ideas but my Mercury in Pisces needs escapism and the momentary appreciation of beauty in order to filter the creativity.

I suppose the real art of living is in ~knowing~ the self well enough to sustain our spiritual, physical and mental needs

I think my creative expressions are lived out with 4th house things, major changes had nothing to do with these things, but will surely enable me to be more of the Fish swimming up and not down.

Oh I see now what you mean, hippichickie!
Creativity was the most prominent pisce-y element and the things about the 4th took the backstage. How very interesting how that transit expressed itself! Thanks for the insight and good luck on your continuing big changes! :-)

Great Anongrl,

I just off but will take a look later on...to confirm is your birthtime of noon accurate?? I've never actually known somebody born at 12pm before

Hippichick, I'm also intrigued as to the changes but my guess is relationship..

Thanks in advance, Wax, and especially for letting me know that you will look at it later on. Yes, (sigh), my birth time is correct; my mom showed me the record of it!! I know how impossible it is to be correct (with no minutes at all what are the chances?) but that's all I have got on paper so I have been using it as it is. :-/

Hi Anongrl,

Well that's a very interesting chart and I'm glad to have found somebody actually born at noon

Looking at the 10th House we see Pluto ruling and a dispositor track to Mercury (conjunct Sun and Neptune) to Jupiter to Venus.

Research is an immediate consideration. You have great patience and need to absorb and immerse yourself in anything you're working on.

Intuition and psychic ability figures in here too, with Pluto happy in the 8th House, Neptune sitting on the MC angle you can get a 'hunch' and find amazing tracks of insight seemingly from nowhere.

I see an interest in cultural studies, your interest in astrology obvious links into your passion for understanding humans but there is a route here to wanting to understand the development of customs, beliefs and behaviours. You're interested in how these things become in the first place.

On this basis I look to areas like archaelogy, and sciences {when Mars links to Uranus within the MC profile science needs to be considered}.

Now you know you are creative but with this ability to absorb information and sense patterns I would consider utilising the whole board of skills.

A few things become possible here; geology, healing, research, travel writing, cultural and religious studies. If you could work somewhere where you are responsible for putting together information and presenting it ~whether in writing or in person I think you'd feel quite fulfilled.

Even working for a magazine but it would have to be contributing in an area you are very interested in.

Then on the other hand you could be a great physiotherapist, reiki teacher or energy healer. You need to be able to work on your own to a certain degree and present yourself as an expert in your field.

Of course the occupation depends upon training you have undergone and interests you have developed so far in your life. Does this resonate?

Wax, another mind-blowing post from you!
Yes, I actually have a PhD in a science and I have trained to be a Reiki healer. I love research (it's why I did my doctoral degrees) and I go deep and painstakingly into the matter thanks to Pluto. And yes I do get insights out of nowhere in my field. Of course I have a level of expertise that allows me to harness the 'hunches' but still they come out of nowhere if you think about it. I call it "inspiration". :-)
Since I lost my job, my career has stalled. It's been very difficult to find something steady longterm in my field, which is why I am wondering if I should change fields or career! In my "previous" career I would indeed present my "stuff"; academic work includes everything I love doing: researching, teaching, presenting, writing.
I would love to write for a magazine! I just am not sure how to move ahead from this point. I'm really immobilized with no opportunities for jobs. I mean I apply and nothing happens; I had a few close calls that collapsed at the last minute. Very demoralizing. I'm so frustrated that I wouldn't mind starting anew but with no finances this is also a no-go at the moment.
Not sure if you can see in the transits something that might improve things in that direction.
Thanks again for the reading and be sure I will re-read this several times and explore in my mind the possibilities. :-D

Wax, just to clarify a bit because I re-read my response and it is confusing even to me (lol!): although I have a PhD I was working in the corporate sector in my field for many years. Now my wish is to make a full turn to academia. It's hard to find jobs in both/either avenues right now. I had to move across the Atlantic away from my support net and in a different job market. I thought I'd clarify this but the q remains if I will finally get out of this tunnel and how/when. I am really scared of that Nept on the MC. Many people say it's confusion in what you want. All my life I knew what I wanted to be and I actually became that. It's only now with the T NEpt sq my Sun/Merc/Nept stellium that I'm having doubts given the reality of the global economy and my own reality of not finding job even if I'm well qualified.
Sorry to bore you! Gosh! {blushing}
Thanks again for your great insight on my chart!

My first thought reading your response is to urge you to work "with" Neptune, allow it's influence. It's well received in your chart and I don't agree that it will add confusion conjunct the MC. {If it was squaring the MC then possibly so!}

Perhaps utilising your reiki training and combining this with your technical knowledge could be a way to integrate the current transits? You could teach it and/or work with in a more physical therapeutic field {Mars in the 1st} using the reiki as your additional sense {which of course ties in nicely with the North Node position also}.

Of course setting up in business is daunting, but perhaps you could work with other therapists? Just an idea but I see Neptune transits as enhancers. They help you to deepen your abilities, sense and feel them more. A bit like reiki in a way ~Neptune can open up parts of you which enhance your life forever if you continue to use them

Don't despair. The recession is tough but with the current changes in the society there are actually more people seeking the 'light workers' than ever before, hence it could be a good route in a jobless market

Good luck!

Wax, you're such a great gentle soul! thanks for the encouraging message. I have thought about it but I guess I haven't been open to the opportunity. I will take one step in that direction tomorrow in fact. We'll see if anything goes off it. Thanks so much for your positive thinking, your wonderful energy and the light you shed on my chart. Current transits make me extremely sensitive to people's energies and when they are bad they get too bad for me but at the same when they are good (like yours) they feel oh so good! Thank you so much. :-)

I hope it all goes well for you!!
