 | posted May 09, 2014 11:50 AM Yessss. You nailed it, Ceri!
This has got to be why I attract/am drawn to so many people with Moon-Pluto harsh aspects. Romantically, with friendships... I have Sun square Pluto myself. They share that kind of energy. In my own chart, I have the sextile between Moon and Pluto, so I get some of that energy in my own life anyway. IP: Logged |

Yes, it was one of the biggest eyeopener to me. I thank Michael Roscher for it. The other one was "closed circuits", which I one day discovered on my own, and only later noticed that it had been known for eons of time, just that astrologer call it aspect-figures.

Ceri! Ceri! Ceri! I want my book!

We do not always get what we want, right? I actually many years ago even started, but as it is I have had so many concepts and theories floating in this mind of mine, and I need to find a structure, which I haven`t yet. And before I know my synthesis, there wil be no book. I suppose that is what the Sagittarius-North Node with Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house is striving for and at the same time that Neptune on it and squaring Jupiter confuses me with all the possibilities and "thinking around corners" IP: Logged |

This is a brilliant article and an in depth analysis involving signs, houses and dispositors apart from the aspects. I like it a lot. I love how you pointed out the importance of projection here, both in terms of positive mirroring and "shadowing" so to speak and I love your concepts of "underlying compatibility" for familiarity and "underlying attraction" for complementarity (I think this adds to compatibility, in fact). I second what lalalinda said, it would be a pity not to write a book or at least an article on this, Ceri
it is such important astrological work
 Thank you. IP: Logged |

 | posted May 09, 2014 01:26 PM Btw, don`t tell anyone, but I truely believe that THIS is one of the building blocks of twinflames (of course it actually is true for any relationships, too, probably, but without it I wouldn`t believe two people are likely to be twinflames).
But as I said, hush, hush, don`t tell anybody. IP: Logged |

LOL it looks like we share a lot of fascinations, no wonder our NN conjunct the funny thing is I noticed them too, by myself, before discovering they exist, in astrology But even nowadays, there are very few studies on aspect patterns, IMO.

shhhhhh (I agree, there is a complex web of mirrors, yin/yang complements and archetypes, pattern-completion in natals approaching a twinflame meeting and in twinflame relationship charts), but hush hush lol IP: Logged |

 | posted May 11, 2014 10:51 AM Today is my parents' wedding anniversary. They've been together for over 25 years and will, almost certainly, stay together until death do them part. Their relationship is far from being fairytale-like and there were times when I sincerely wished them to separate, but it was never an option for them. I admire them for their loyalty and stability. So, enough with this drivel. I would like to honour their successful marriage with my synastric analysis of their charts:
 Mirror------------------------------
Sun/Moon Her Sun conjunct Mercury/ His Sun in 3HHer Sun in Sag, sextile Jupiter/His Sun trine Jupiter, Sun dispositor in Sag
Her Sun conjunct Neptune/His Sun in Pisces
Her Moon sextile Saturn/His Moon opposite Saturn
Her Moon dispositor in Libra/His Moon in 7H
Her Sun in 11H/His Sun dispositor in 11H
Mercury Her Mercury dispositor in Libra/His Mercury dispositor in 7H Venus/Mars Her Venus in 1H, dispositor in Aries, square Mars/His Venus in AriesHer Mars in Libra and square Venus/His Mars in 7H
Other similarities Both have Jupiter as chart ruler, her is in 9H and his is in Sagittarius. Her Ascendant is trine Saturn and he has Saturn in 1H.
And the most amazing thing of all:
their NN's are opposite, her has dispositor Mars, which is in Libra and he has NN disposited in Venus in Aries. That's what I call a karmic connection
Another important connection: Her Ascendant is square Pluto, exact.
His AC dispositor is also square Pluto, exact.
That explains a lot of their power games, one manipulating with excessive showcases of emotions, other by stoic, cold withdrawals etc. Although they've calmed down a lot and matured in the last years
 Yin/Yang--------------------------------
Her Sun conjunct Mercury/His Moon square Mercury exact! Her Sun conjunct Neptune/His Moon trine Neptune
Her Venus dispositor in Aries, Venus square Mars/His Mars dispositor in Aries
Her Sun dispositor in Libra/His Moon in 7H
 Synastric reinforcements
 ----------------------------------
Her Venus opposite his Moon (exact)
 Her Sun inconjunct his Venus
Her Sun conjunct his AscendantHer Ascendant inconjunct his Moon
Her Moon opposite his Uranus (exact)Her Uranus opposite his Sun
(this one is in my opinion very important, because her Moon is in Aquarius and she needed this Uranian dimension to feel emotionally comfortable)
Her Moon square his NeptuneHer Neptune trine his Sun
(Here it was his Neptunian »manliness« activated, for he is a Pisces Sun and his ego needed Neptune activated in synastry)
Her Venus opposite his MoonHer Moon square his Mars
Her Mars sextile his UranusHis Uranus inconjunct her Venus exact!
To sum it up, I think that what really keeps them together is their unresolved karma, they have a lot yet to learn from each other, they will have to try and meet in the middle of the path between Aries and Libra NN. But otherwise the prevailing planets are, at least in my opinion: Mars, Neptune and Uranus. With a spice of Pluto. Or not, I'm not quite sure, it's really hard to make conclusions of such complex things…
Anyway, I wish them many more happy years together

 | posted December 04, 2015 09:49 AM So brilliantly laid out Ceri. Thank you!
I was once very emotionally focused on someone with whom I had an outrageous number of these matching aspects and placements, then it turned out we had sun conjunct sun in draconic ~ icing on the cake. The composite was not strong, and the pr composite was even worse...maybe that's why, for all the similarities and deep connections, it didn't hold together.

 | posted September 29, 2019 12:47 PM I have resurrected this thread as I've been noticing "mirroring" (I will use that term for everything even complements) in the natals of everyone close to me outside of family members. I normally see it in the angles and luminaries to the point that it's scary. I wonder if I gleam something from them or we just have an affinity based on these similarities.
Each one of my friend's angles either reflect my angles or nodal/vertex axis. Each one. Example: Friends have Sag ASC/Gem DSCI have Sag IC/Gem MC
Same friends have Pisces NN/Virgo SNI have Virgo ASC/Pisces DSC
Friend 1 has Leo ASC/Aqua DSCFriend 2 has leo vertex/aqua antivertex
 I have Aqua NN/Leo SN
All our angles or nodes/vertices aspect each other so there's that as well. There is also mirroring with the luminaries. Many of them, pretty much all have:Fire Sun or Moon in 8th....I'm a Scorpio Sun
One friend has Sun in 12th...I'm a Pisces Moon
