There's this Virgo guy that likes me. We've been talking a lot more frequently. Even though he has a lot of friends, he acts so shy around me. I don't get why they always say virgos are more cerebral than emotional. My experience with virgos has been just the opposite. In fact, i think virgos and cancers are extremely similar, except virgos i think wear less of a mask of being socially confident...which cancers wear but we're really not. Anyway, I love the romantic first stages of relationships...lol. You know me: venus, mars, and moon in leo. But I just wanted to say that i think this is a very good match  . And virgos are very emotionally expressive btw...just shy. And it's soo cute^^. the only earth sign i get along with. IP: Logged |

Lol no well the libra guy was always just a friend. We are still friends, we just don't talk as much since after I ignored him. I have a feeling he thinks it was too much drama lol. The feelings were too intense with venus square pluto and venus sextile pluto.IP: Logged |

I dont think ur a leo...you don't come off as a leo online. Plus, the way you expressed yourself about how the cancer guy was treating you....a leo would never do all of that. It makes them look "weak"so yeah i think ur a virgo Well, this guy...first of all he's amazing, and a sweetheart, and romantic. And before looking up his sign, i thought he was an aries because he's so hot!

I just wanted to rave a little bit about how perfect i think cancers and virgos are. I look at him when he talks to me...like his facial expressions and mannerisms and stuff....omg so adorable. )
and he's so shy and i love that, but at the same time we make each other laugh.
I'm worried about the shyness, though, because last virgo guy i went out with and the two virgo crushes i had after him also, we had some difficulty feeling attracted in that way sometimes bc we were both so shy...or more like actually they were really shy. They were the quiet nervous ones, so. But yeah. It's like, we couldnt feel relaxed around each other so it was hard to feel attracted. I dunno. Hopefully this one is different. IP: Logged |

Why are Virgos more cerebal than emotional???Mercury keeps them in their heads...too much so at times, their opposite is Pisces, who is over-emotional... I have been upside down in love with one for nearly 9 months now...I am a Pisces sun, fortunately I have a hell of alot of Aqua so I can keep my emotions in check alot of the time. Shy? Not really, but they come off as shy...they are moreso very, very careful to engage, very careful to let another human in to their (wanna be) world of perfection. Patience is the key word here. I dated a Cancer sun, nothing like the lovely Virgo...Cancer, posessive, crazy, insecure..Virgo pensive, slow, methodical... GOod luck!!! IP: Logged |

Virgos have told me themselves that they're shy, but i do also see what you're saying. I really think that earth signs in general give off the "rational, slow and methodical" vibes....but in fact on the inside they are messy as hell and super emotional and everything is just a cover-up, a front. If anything, because of their tendecy to ignore their deep emotions, i feel earth signs will probably have the most problems out of any other element. Problems expressing themselves, depression, outbursts, self-destructive tendencies. Etclook at amy winehouse, for example. Or charlie sheen. Michael jackson? Lol. (maybe not...cant think of any virgos that are as crazy as him lol) In my opinion earth signs, but especially virgo and probably secondmost capricorn are most likely to be alcoholics and have an episode in their life where they just go crazy lol. of course not all Virgos are emotionally up front like you say...the guy I am going for is also a Virgo..and has Leo Mercury , Leo Mars, and Venus is 29 Cancer/0 Leo depending on the chart generator. i've never known him to be emotional or express that side of him..and i have known him for 6 years. we have been intimate, too and he still seems a little icey. he does have Aquarius moon and Taurus ASC, though. Rational and sometimes slow and methodical I will agree with. Problems expressing ourselves I agree with... Depression, outbursts, self-destructive tendencies I disagree with. I think that when you find a Virgo that's out of balance, yes, you will find those things (same is true for any sign), but that's out of the norm and isn't a rule (you used out of balance Virgo- crazy celebrity edition). Truly, for most Virgos, the word 'neurotic' works very well. I also think 'insecure and doesn't care who sees' works too. It can be cute or it can be annoying. Depends on your audience. The shyness isn't always shyness. Sometimes it's just a reticence when we aren't sure whether or not we want to date someone. However, it can be genuine, since we often don't see ourselves as 'SEXYLIKEOMG.' We are slow to open up to most people because we are picky about who we keep around us. Some Virgos can be really critical/fussy/dictatorial/discriminating and that is really the true downside of Virgo, I think. IP: Logged |

What the...? In my experience Fire and Water Signs are most likely to become Alcoholics (when we're ging to stereotype now...so be it).
It's not that we Earth Signs don't understand us (I'm speaking for Virgos here) but that we're often misunderstood. All through my childhood and teens people would react negatively to me showing emotions. Teacher and adults in general expected that I was more mature than the other kids and if I showed the same level of immaturity as them I was punished and judged harder.
Maybe we radiate something logical, trustwothy...someone to lean on who always thinks first and acts second.
So we act that way...I did but I'm not doing it anymore. With the risk that a majority of people will leave the minute they find out that I'm a whiney, moody, emotional Cancer Mooner. But that's better than always playing the adult, the mom, the wise consultant who knows all the rational answers. The problem is not that we don't understand our own feelings but that we care too much about what others think of us. IP: Logged |

Ok since we're gonna go crazy celebrity edition...haha. Why don't we introduce then, some really crazy caps. Elvis, mel gibson, anyone? I'm just saying, i think cap and virgo are most likely to have the breakdowns. Not just in celebrities, but i speak because i've seen them. I've seen it in my friends and in my family.I'm not bashing my lovely caps and virgos, i truly love you guys. I'm just trying to break this stereotype that earth signs are this balanced, mellow group of people who always treat everything rationally. Please. Each of you is just a water sign in disguise. You'll never admit it though, but it's okay. My earth sign friends have a lot of defenses up, especially to admitting when theyve been hurt. You act like you don't care, then go home and cry. I'm just trying to get you guys to freaking let go of the act. Gah. Hippichick. I thought you'd disagree, haha! I thought u were saying the opposite of what i said. I'm glad u agree tho ....it confirms my gut intuition. And plus i have a cap best friend and had a virgo boyfriend. They were both extremely sensitive and we would talk about it, and how they felt that nobody knows how they really are inside. <3 i agree. exactly, you guys care too much what people think of you. I shouldn't be one to talk, i care about that a lot too, but not to the extent that i'll keep everything inside. There's a rebellious side to me that will be like "eff you" lol and use expressing my emotions as kind of a way to influence people. You know, extreme anger, extreme sadness, extreme joy. runaroundscreaming you get virgos but you think you get them a lot more than you actually do. All the virgos I know including self like to have fun and lots of fun. virgo is such a misunderstood sign. Adam sandler is a virgo and so is Colin firth and neither are anything like micheal jackson or charlie sheen. I feel Adam and colin are good examples of virgos. you are completely right that we put up a front but then go home and cry and this is because we do not want to burden others with our issues and feel like we have to be strong for others so they can rely on us when they need the support. perhaps virgo puts up a front bc they want to serve others and cap ruler of 10th house because they want to protect their reputation and appearance and Taurus is just strong, its in their nature. Colin Firth is not a typical virgo from what it looks like to me. He seems very easygoing and not shy at all.Adam Sandler is definitely a typical virgo as not only his sun sign is virgo, but his first name gives him characteristics of virgo as well. My exboyfriend also had that virgo name and virgo sun combo and he was very typical of his sun sign description---a total worrywart, very innocent and pure, and really shy. I also know someone else with that combo and he comes off as an old man, even though he jokes around a lot. Hos jokes are of the capricorn expressionless wit variety, but it's even dryer. If you look at adam sandler in interviews and if you read what people have to say about hin who have met him or know him in real life, they describe adam as being not at all how he is in his movies, but in fact a very shy person. I was just trying to get virgos and caps to stop being so hard on themselves and holding in their emotions... because then they become like mel gibson and freddie mercury. (exaggerating here, but what i'm saying is, it's no coincidence that some of the most emotional celebrities were and are earth signs). But anyway yeaahhh i love virgo guys! Ahahaha lololol. No seriously, they are too adorable. I've had a crush on Adam Sandler for the longest now. i'll keep u posted on what happens with this guy. It's kind of complicated bc he's black..i'm white. My parents would disown me if i dated a black guy. So the first two times he just stood there looking at me really sadly and nervously, i ignored him bc i didnt want to lead him on. But now i changed my mind and decided to go for it.
And the next time i saw him he came up
to me and tried to start conversation but did not make eye contact once...i guess cuz we were in a group and he didnt want to make it obvious to everyone. But also cuz he prob thinks i hate him. After that i saw him again and he seems to be ignoring me now, even though i was super friendly to him when he approached me. I guess he just isnt sure what is going on. But i'll try to drop subtle hints here and there.

the virgo guy i went out with....his brother who is a libra said his brother was definitely not very emotional at all. He says he's never seen him angry, or seriously upset about something. That he's always methodical, mellow and calm, even though he says he noticed he's always nervous. Then his brother told me that everyone always told him how unemotional he was...and that they compared him to a robot. But he opened up to me, so that was cool. I never saw him as unemotional, though. So maybe that was the case with your guy? I know some virgo guys who seem like they'd have some serious issues admitting how sensitive they are underneath they're totally emotionless exterior. IP: Logged |
