Oh yea, Saturn is definately not your friend here...Saturn moon contacts are almost always rather shy and insecure, they can make you self concious and very akward indeed, I have the square, lucky me, lol. Then it compound it much becuase the conjunction is close to the asc And squaring your sun and mercury conjunction. You have a heavy saturn influence on the moon, sun, asc, and mercury. Oh boy I don't envy you. I thought I had it bad with my moon saturn. You may be like this the rest of your life or you may completely overcome it, eventually, IDK.

aw you'll get there sweetie!
Be strong and courageous and fully invested in your own well-being and that's all you can do.

Sometimes part of life is learning to let people go that don't work for you, nobody wants to be surrounded by people that put them down or make them feel anxious. There's no need to be so hard on yourself for your journey, the important part is that you're open to change and fully aware of the kind of person you want to be.
Plus there's nothing wrong with being unique (says me and all the aquarians in the room lol). You're phenomenal, just as you are.

oh man, maybe i should take up greeting cards and give Hallmark a run for their money. As cheesey as i am, i've started to notice how amazing it feels to talk about positive things like love and courage, it helps heal your soul and those around you.

Hey Bitterfly, if its social awkwardness I would imagine it focuses on any relationship between the 11th and 3rd houses as well as the Ascendant as others have mentioned. Pluto in the 11th could very well produce this "mirror" effect you mentioned. Since almost everyone generationally has Pluto in Scorpio, I'm not sure of your age range of day to day socialising, but most people your age will share Pluto in Scorpio with you and 11th being the house of friendships, acquaintances and how you relate to others, others see you in such a way, definitely suggests to me that they see all the hidden Pluto things in themselves and project them on to you.

I personally have; Sun square Moon, Moon square Mercury, Sun square Saturn. My Moon is in my 11th house. I have almost all of the aspects people have described as indicators of social awkwardness. I would say I'm not really that socially awkward. The only time I feel the way you described and act that way is if i'm attracted to someone. Thats when I start to feel the way you described.

You're definitely not a no hoper. Just be yourself, love yourself and you said you were married, so someone definitely thinks you're special enough.

Hi Britter! These are all things that popped into my mind reading your thread...Hope it helps

1. Sometimes women are catty. I doubt it is a coincidence that the “friends” you mentioned in your earlier post are all female.
It probably doesn’t only happen to you. Those same girls have probably behaved this way in the past.

2. Are you going after challenges – rather than people it is easy to be around?

Aries Venus is attracted to social challenges. Maybe you try too hard with people, even though it is clearly not working --- when there are actually other people out there who it would be easier to befriend.

3. Do you care too much what others think of you?

Maybe you are too focused on others.. and over-thinking things. Your Scorpio Moon conjunct SN makes you an AWESOME psychologist… Actually, you couldn't catch a bus back to awesomeness in this regard.

However - in this life.. you are meant to focus more on yourself … rather than whatever psychological issues others may have. This will not be an easy shift. Read up on Taurus NN – I think it could help!

4. Do you have enough practice talking to others on a daily basis?

5. Are you living in a place that is culturally very different to the place in which you were born/grew up?

Not saying those aspects will make anybody socially awkward. Since this person asked, i'm just saying those are "signs". The squares between those planets might be harder to handle for some more than others.

Apologies Moonfish, I should clarify, I find it more difficult to speak to people who are typically not talkative. I find and enjoy a lot of conversation comfortable and satisfying, which may have something to do with my Moon in 11th and Gemini. You are right in that her aspects, signs and houses are different. From what it seems like she seems to have problems with those people who talk to her. I have problems with people who don't talk to me and by talk I mean those who are talkative Vs. those who are not so talkative.

i think its your moon in scorpio conjunct saturn in the 12th house thats the major indicator. plus saturn is conjunct the ascendent. plus aquarius is sort of a detached and aloof sign and your moon brings out the more introverted tendencies of aquarius. plus your moon/saturn sqaure your sun and merc which are in your 3rd house so it might inhibit you of expressing yourself, maybe vocally as well.

im super awkward and nervous around people i dont know. im a libra with a taurus rising and virgo moon, but its deffinately that virgo moon that makes me shy and when i do talk to people its very scattered and i have a hard time thinking things through to the way i want to communicate uuugh. but yeah i feel ya.

It's okay :] my fault for giving you the wrong impression. I just don't want you to think i'm being stereotypical or anything. Yes i agree the planets, signs, houses, asteroids, & even our life-style are important things to look at. I don't think many astrologers look passed the chart, but human Will-Power can overtake whatever assumptions these aspects make of us.
