stretching the truth, exaggeration, etc. is a Jupiter function especially when it is in Gemini, 3rd house or Rxlook at the aspects it makes to Mercury. disclaimer: if you have Jupiter/Gemini it does not mean you are a liar, just that you'd make a convincing one IP: Logged |

YES YES! I'm an exaggerator - it's to make people laugh, which it does (I come clean of course) I'm also a great liar (overall I'm good at manipulating, though I'd prefer if I wasn't). I think Gemini, Libra, and Scorpio are signs with a propensity to lying or simply being good at it. Neptune would make sense (I myself have it exact conjunct my Moon). IP: Logged |

This thread is just making me (literally) crack up (as I actually read through it just now, as opposed to being a bum and just reading the OP, then posting ) because nearly every single thing mentioned, I have to some capacity.Libra rising, so I got the libra influence. Tons of scorpio influence; scorpio moon conj. pluto, 8th house stellium. Lots of gemini influence; 3 planets in the 3rd house, including neptune, jupiter in gemini conjunct venus and mercury. I should have gone into banking and wall street. I could have swept the floor clean with all of this business going on .

The asteroid Lie in a negative aspect to mercury may contribute as well. IP: Logged |

My experiences with compulsive liars are a combination of Scorpio and Pisces, or Neptune, they make it up as they go. The worst one had a conjunction of Moon, Neptune and Mercury in Scorpio. You could not trust him. Would sell you in a flash as wellIP: Logged |

I have jupiter retro in 8th close trine to mercury and I'm no good at lying and wouldn't want to be either...Mercury in hard aspect to jupiter can overtalk when it should be quiet and undertalk when it should be talking.. mecury hard aspect to neptune has an over active imagination, vivid imagary could make good creative writers if they apply themselves.. ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.” IP: Logged |

Another way of looking at this would be someone with lack of air planets in a chart. My partner is like this and I just take it with a pinch of salt. If he has a cold, he's dying..... Jupiter can overdo things, but all depends on how it's aspected and where it's placed...

tautomer4314thanks for explaining, it's always helpful. you can find out when your mercury went direct by using an ephemeris.. http://www.khaldea.com/ephemcenter.shtml If you want to learn how to use an ephemeris try here.. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42496 here is my favourite online ephemeris which plots where the planets are for hundreds of years...
