I think astrology can only take you so far; my chart is very different from yours and I could've written your post myself. Other factors should be considered. To answer your question, I don't mind being a cancer but I'm most definitely not a fan of my chart. BTW Aquas are lovely people, I've been surrounded by you guys my whole life. Keep 'em coming! IP: Logged |

I love having an Aquarius moon, as well. You couldn't pay me to have another moon sign - which isn't to say that any other moon sign isn't great, I just feel I was given the sign I can make the most of - its energy really works with me. I feel like, as amowls said, I can harnass it's electrical, Uranian energy for objectivity, rather then having it close in on me and be cold. It's a glorious sign. I'm getting more acquainted with the powers that entail being a Taurus, as well (Sun/Mercury/Psyche). For a while I felt very out of tune with it, but the older I get, the more I feel it start to blossom. IP: Logged |

I like Aquas too! I seem to attract them for some strange reason. IP: Logged |

That clinginess and desire for friends to be attached at the hip? after you get out of high school that simply becomes impossible. Soon it becomes that you want to see your friends more. Life gets hectic and either you're at work or at school but combining a social life into that can get hard sometimes. Like i said, give it time...IP: Logged |

Not really I was never attached to friends in high school I see them time to time but I'm surviving without them. I'm really into the distance thing, I don't like to see people I like all the time, once a week is great!!IP: Logged |

I'm an Aqua born on Jan 25 as well.... can't say I have grown of it though ... I'm 29 and still very Aquarius (tho I have a lot of air/aqua in my chart)... I know your issues w/creating "relationships" that go beyond casual acquaintances. I have a very small circle of close friends whom I trust and talk to regularly. Even when I am going through crisis, I can't open up and ask for help or even ask for them to listen. They know me for 20 yrs so they always pry and ask questions, drag it out of me - that's what I need. I can't cry on people's shoulder, that's not my thing...but I can be given a few glasses of wine, start talking and that is all I need. Aquas, we like to communicate. No hugs here I was always shy/quiet, and then accused of being unapproachable or aloof - now I make sure to chat with people by asking questions. I think for a lot of aquas, they need to overcompensate for the pensive and quirky air, ya know? The clingy and "hanging out everyday" thing...just seems like teenage friendships, they'll all grow out of that. But my advice - judging others for being clingy or needy is a little harsh, that's their prerogative, their lifestyle - no need for a personal crusade to defend why you don't wanna hang out with them 24/7. Just decline the invitations or make up an excuse, they'll catch on! Hopefully you'll grow into your aquaness... it's a great sign but has challenges and obstacles. I'll say though - sit down next to an aqua in a bar and get talking to, and you'll never forget them for the rest of your life - it's a unique sign, and we are quite the characters! ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

I don't know if it's because I've got Sun, Mars and Mercury in Cancer (Sun conj Mars sextile Moon; Moon and Merc in mutual reception) that it modifies my moon or not, but I will say that everything I feel does get bottled up and then thoroughly analyzed to the point that I want to slap myself. Virgos are actually really sensitive =/ just don't like to make a big deal out of it, and keeps it all inside. IP: Logged |

I took it that virgo mooners were very distanced in that department IP: Logged |

You misunderstood me, what i meant it more people get used to the idea of seeing people once a week because that's all the becomes possible as you get older, so more people will feel the same way about relationships as you do, or even if they don't, that's the reality of it. Virgo moons are extremely sensitive and yet not so at the same time. I really wish i could explain us to every person interested in astrology, same with aqua suns. I'm not sensitive as in, i really don't take offense very easily, particularly when i can tell that it wasn't intentionally mean-spirited. Also, apparently i also don't take offense to things that a lot of other people have a hard time with.
But if you hurt me..... there's hell to pay and i might move on to some degree but i'll NEVER forget depending on the severity of you hurting me. i'm annoying that way. IP: Logged |

What do you mean you don't know? You've got a Virgo moon! I'm surprised your chart isn't organized down to the last degree in your room, haha. So do Virgos and Geminis go well together? I swear my Gemini placements play a bigger part in my personality than I've been informed of. 'Cause I analyzse obsessively (maybe that's the moon in Taurus?) too. IP: Logged |

I dont loooove my own sign....I think is a cool sign but I am already a virgo so I am interested in all the other signs bc I already understand myself. I am complex, intellectual, compassionate and misunderstood by many but understood by those who really matter (equals) and my path is my own but others walk it with me at different points but they too have their own paths and unique stories that are their own.I think you are great and as you get older will grow to like your sign more and more as so will I....Each sign is beautiful if we understand it well enough and see the big picture of it all. I don't think you are selfish......I think the whole selfish thing is a front and defense mechanism and you actually are caring but you don't want to care but you do want to care........there is like a battle inside of you one pulling you towards caring and showing you care and one saying hell no, only you matter!. You will eventually find a way to balance these to opposing parts of your psyche. Is simple you have a good heart but are trying to figure out a way, whether you realize it or not yet, to balance these two parts of your psyche that are pulling you at different directions and find a way to have these two sides somehow become friends. This is the sense I get from you and you will find a balance. IP: Logged |

Traditionally Mercury is exalted in Virgo, more modern astrologers put it in Aquarius, so it depends more on the method of the astrologer.IP: Logged |

I think it's kinda difficult to be a Capricorn...but it changes with age, and as we grow older, we learn to love ourselves ...and with that, our sign as well! If I'd be able to change my sign, I wouldn't do it, but I would definitely change some aspects, such as Mars-Neptune sqare, that ugly Jupiter-Saturn-Chiron T-square, etc... People say I have a specific chart, mainly because my ASC & ASC ruler are both at the 29th degree...they say it's a chart of someone who would either be very successful or very misfortunate, it only depends on the degree of their mental stability...It's a weird interpretation but, somehow, I believe it...IP: Logged |

I like being a Virgo. I've always liked being a Virgo. What I don't like is feeling like I have to EXPLAIN why being a Virgo is a good thing to other people (because Virgo gets hated on a lot). Unfortunately (and fortunately), since becoming an adult, I've had LOTS of air signs and water signs around me, and I have air and water voids in my chart, so I end up constantly having to explain my own way of BEING to others, and this gets very tiresome after awhile. In any case, what I love about being a Virgo (with lots of fire) is that I am able to stand up for myself and really know where I stand on the things that I love, hate, etc. I'm not terribly wishy washy, and I know what works well FOR ME. I am passionate about all things one way or another. Also, I have a subtle discernment about things. Others tend to call me a hater, but the fact is, I know what I love and I want to keep in my life and what I really don't. I like that I'm honest to a fault (Sagittarius) because in my mind it keeps things simple and above board. I like the Virgoan sense of compassion, kindness, and intellectual curiosity. I like that I am modest at times (when my Leo Mars isn't getting the way), but I also like that I do have a pride about myself and I don't let everyone walk all over me. Lindisfarne- I understand your need for space in relationships. I have a strong Uranus square to both my Sun and my Venus, so I tend to need a certain amount of independence from others in order to maintain my own equilibrium. I agree with everyone else here that you will probably grow into your Aqua-ness especially once you get out of school, since most people don't have the time anymore to see each other every single day or to call every single day. I'd say I see most of my friends about once a week right now, and I have many different groups of friends. IP: Logged |

I think as we grow older we learn to accept ourselves and our quirks! I must admit I hated that I was a Cancer when I was younger. I knew it meant moody, and my Scorpio mother always pointed that out to me lol. In fact my Aunt who is a Cancer took to me when I was younger. We would stay at home, watch movies and just chill out. Her daughter (who I was jealous of because she was beautiful, popular, and more developed lol) said she hated me because she thought that her mom loved me more than her. She's an Aquarius. But as I got older, I realized I'm so much more than my sun sign alone. As I come here and read and learn more, I realize I'm really complex, and to kind of live with that. I also know that I have my weaknesses, and if I'm attracted to signs that are different from me, I have to sit back and evaluate those differences and learn to embrace them. I really love astrology and I love that the nerdy part of me wants to know everything about other signs, and allow me to sit back and see the other person for who they are. I don't know if that's control or not, but it's fun for me to know who other signs think, and work with them to enhance my relationships. IP: Logged |

You sound really similar to me and I am a sun virgo with predominantly fire in chart, chart ruler in sag, and venus and mars in leo in the 9th. Charlie Sheen is super intellectual and smart actually (I Have heard his political views and they are very similar to mine) but the media focuses on this drug use and Charlie just doesn't care and he knows who he is and is above all the B.S bec he knows who his friends are, who he is and that he is here to live his life not get the approval of others who don't understand his complexity. Yea he likes to party a lot but there is soo much more to him and the media chooses to focus on his party side and distort who he is as person bc he wants 911 to be re-investigated but the media is owned by elitist mostly who don't want 911 to be investigated again so they have done everything under their power to discredit him but he still knows who he is and is above all the B.S. THAT is such a virgo with sag influence, I get him. He is a virgo with moon in sag and I am virgo with sag as chart ruler, he has moon in the 8th and my 8th house ruler is the moon. IP: Logged |
