Hi SunShine, Not sure you understood what exactly I was seconding so let me explain my view. Because this board is so full of newbies in astrology, presenting dubious astrological facts in an absolute way is dangerous. Look at all the responses you got with panic and fear telling how "scared" they are of the upcoming eclipses! For me, this is simply not the way to go when you talk to newbies; I consider it unethical and an abuse of whatever knowledge we have over those who don't have it. If the audience had a level of prior astro knowledge, well then it would be totally different. When someone knows the basics, they can judge for themselves without being emotionally affected, u know? I face this issue daily when I read for people. When I deal with a newbie I try to avoid doomsaying. It's just not nice. It's like pointing a gun to a newborn. They are unable to protect themselves because of their particular stage of development. I hope this clarifies to you my personal view. It was not meant as a personal remark to you (although I can see why you would feel it like this due to the manner of the original poster; I only seconded the view that was expressed, not the manner in which it was expressed). I don't like to victimize people who are not in a position to think for themselves and I use my astrological and tarot readings to empower people - not to scare them or emotionally bruise them - if I can help it. cheers, Anongrl10 IP: Logged |

Good morning lindaland...I'd like to get a reading on how this eclipse (Nov. 25th) and the next (Dec. 10th) will affect me personally. I've been like the general public reading my weekly, monthly sun-sign/ascendant sign reports for years but never paid much attention to eclipses until the one IN JUNE AND JULY when my ex officially left my life (he entered a new relationship). I was devastated as you can imagine and returned to astrologyzone to RE-READ my monthly horoscope. and (I just love Susan Miller) it stated indeed that I would be hit by the July 1st solar eclipse SPECIFICALLY "a man that I was deeply committed to will leave my life"! I could not believe it! I'm not anxious per se about this next one as they say it has a good energy with it. It will fall in my 1st house and the December 10th one will be in my 7th house. I have Sagittarius and Neptune in my first house. I can provide birth data...I just want to be ready this time to receive the energy of the eclipse better instead of being completely taken by surprise which makes it more painful indeed. But in any case, I have great hope for the one coming on the 10th as it falls in my 7th house and my ex and I have been getting extremely close...I'm also open to meet someone else, maybe he'll fall in my lap! in a way, the eclipse of July have forced me to move out of my stagnation regarding him and deal with past hurt. Susan Miller also wrote in July that the relationship could either completely end or deepen. In a weird way we've become closer/more honest toward one another/I've become more accepting of the fact that he can't physically be with me because of distance and financial issues... Anyway, I would really like to get a personal reading as I have a tendency to delude myself (NEPTUNE IN FIRST HOUSE) and astrology has been helping me to keep my feet on the ground over the past couple of months by learning about my chart and my personality. Sunshine didn't make up 'The Eclipses Are Coming, The Eclipses Are coming!'I believe Anne Ortlee did, and she's been saying it for years, and so it gets repeated on this board and nobody before had an issue with it. It's just an expression people. Lord, what do you do when you see a Mayan calendar if this trips you out? Anyway, Sunshine, when you get done with everyone else, can you look at my chart and tell me what to be aware of? The eclipse last winter was probably the worst, or one of the worst times of my life and I'm hoping for a better eclipse experience. LOL. IP: Logged |

Hey Gypsee as a fellow Saggie I wonder how the eclipses affect you. Is your Sun anywhere near the eclipse of the 25th this month? IP: Logged |

My Sun is at 0 Sag 55' in my 10th house conjunct my MC (in Scorpio) and my Nept (Scorpio) and Merc (in Sag). Also opposite my Sun I have my Moon in the 3rd house (near the 4th house cusp) and so the eclipse of the 25th will oppose my Moon while conjunct all my 10th house planets including my Sun! My Chiron trines my Sun from the 2nd and T Uranus is over my Chiron right now trining my Sun... Curious how all this might manifest! IP: Logged |

i love eclipses. since i have Sagi AC and Stellium there, i'll be pelted. Lunar eclipse will be exactly on my Venus, and around it my Sun and Neptune.i'm going to go through one of the last phases of the major transformation since the last few eclipses in Sagi. it's going to cleanse out all the things i don't need anymore. and i am looking forward to this assistance. i am welcoming change and the BIG shift in my life! Hm...Wondering how this will affect my Asc/Dec since my Descendant is at 2 degrees Sagg. I also have Mercury at 10 degrees Gem and Neptune at 12 Sagg. There was no mention so far of how these eclipses might affect one's angles. Anyone have any info on that? IP: Logged |

I second what Juni said. You are doing a great job, Sunny. Anongrl10 I wonder if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my chart to tell me if there is anything in particular I should expect with these eclipses???

Should I be concerned? The November 25th eclipse is occurring at the exact location of my natal Uranus (2deg Sag, 2nd House), which also opposes my natal Sun in Gemini in the 8th house. Uranus energy tends to scare the crap out of me! IP: Logged |

I was just thinking that I was hit hard by the eclipses over the past two/three years, but if I'd been able to keep myself emotionally stable, then I wouldn't have been left so bruised - I might have been able to use the good that also came, much more than I did. July of 2010, I remember Unmoved posting a thread about that eclipse; racole was having trouble sleeping, and I was feeling rather manic, but came home from the bookstore all inspired in a couple of ways. Had I been able to move forward with that, and hold onto that feeling, then I would have fared better. I actually see last Summer as having been better than this one, deaths aside (experiencing them both Summers in a row). This one will conjoin my North Node in the second house, oppose Moon and Venus, and square Mars in the fourth house. I just had a past-life regression, and the lady joked that my mother could listen, and have a freebie, of she wanted to. We both saw ourselves in the same countries, only I saw myself in Greece first, and then wondered about Italy, and she saw Italy first, and then wondered about Greece. I didn't get much, but she saw herself as a little girl. I feel more flattened this year, and am horrified that it's Thanksgiving in a matter of days, when I feel like it should only be the Summer, right now. I'm hoping that something good will happen (pretty please, Universe?). The radiator burst and was leaking, when my session just started, so we had to rush home instead of going anywhere else. Dad is looking for a new radiator for his van, tonight, because he needs the van to be in good working order, so that he can do his job. My attitude has sucked this year, and I've been increasingly stroppy - not like myself at all. So, I'm hoping for better. The previous eclipses hit my fourth and tenth houses, and then my third and ninth houses (hitting my saturn directly, more than once, and squaring my t-square and my Aries planets). IP: Logged |

Libreo, While it is true that eclipses change the status quo just like other major planetary transits, there is no reason to think they are going to upset the apple cart in every aspect of your life. Have you been through a major planetary transit (that you are aware of) yet? You probably have.. Saturn affects one every 7 years - have you had a Saturn Return yet? I remember dreading those around the time I had mine, and it was rough for me while others I knew seemed to sail through theirs. I was in a marriage that was a mistake from the start, and it ended. I was pursuing my PhD and at the time, there were challenges with my then-advisor that caused me to put it on hold indefinitely. I would have never in a million years had the courage to do that on my own & walk away from that advisor's lab if it had not been for events that forced my hand. It seemed so awful at the time because my life had been built around it. Somehow, after a while of dealing with all these shifts in my life, I got to making my peace with Saturn. I got a job in another state, resumed my PhD part-time (with a mentor who was 1000x better as an advisor), graduated, and found love again with a wonderful man. Life is much better where I am now, and I'd have never gotten here, had it not been for the transits that seemed to be disrupting my life as it was at the time. I'm being long-winded, but my point (to you and everyone who is afraid of what is to come) is that the eclipses (and transits) need not affect you adversely if your life is in a good place. If they do bring changes, know that that change is probably meant to happen and that it can be very good for you. Everything that happens is happening for a reason, and it is all ultimately taking you to where you are meant to be. From what you've said, it sounds like your life is in a good place now. So don't be afraid of things going awry when in all likelihood they may not. If you'd like to post your birth chart or data, we can take a look at how the coming eclipse may impact you. And as tuxedoMask said, the New Moon is a great time to set intentions for your life and meditate on them - it is one of the best ways to make use of the eclipse energy. Sunshine IP: Logged |

Lioness, I should've asked whether they make a soft or hard aspect to your Mars and Neptune. Is the eclipse axis conjunct/opposed one of these planets? How was the last eclipse for you? Hopefully this time around it won't have as big an effect. IP: Logged |
