Libreo,

I took a look at your chart and dissected it to determine what the upcoming eclipse is likely to activate in you. Here is your "eclipse reading":

The upcoming solar eclipse is on your 10th/4th house axes. You may find yourself thinking about advancement in career and how to balance this with family life.

Your Neptune in 10th house conjuncts the eclipse and may compel you to re-examine any blind spots you have when it comes to your career. Keep your eyes wide open and see things as they are.. I see that you have Neptune as the point of a Yod with rx Mars on one side & Saturn on the other, and these planets may be able to help you out there.

Your retrograde Mars in Taurus in 3rd house may spur you to heightened mental activity in matters of the 3rd house (siblings, communication, short trips, contracts/letters). Your Mars is going to be mulling over how to achieve your goals, and chomping at the bit. Increased mental activity and planning is all good, just try not to have to sign any contracts during this eclipse period, especially as transiting Mercury is also going retrograde tomorrow. If you can at all hold off on formalizing agreements for 3 weeks, do so.. this is general advice for everyone during an eclipse / Mercury retrograde period.

Your Saturn at the other end of the Yod may also feel a bit grumpy. If you're going to be spending time with them, don't let your family, parents or siblings inadverdently bring you down.. it is temporary and will pass. Attempt to channel the wisdom of Saturn instead to helping you with anything that may come up for consideration by Neptune in your 10th house. He can help you there.

Also aspected is your Jupiter in unconventional Aquarius in 11th house, which can enliven you and want you to take a chance toward fulfilling your dreams, or perhaps even in your relationships with your friends. You may find yourself able to get your life moving in a new direction toward those goals..

Balancing this on the other side is your Libran Pluto in 8th house which may remind you of your darker instincts, and you may need to use your will power to take back control from them - you can do it.. Remember that you are the master.

Aspecting the eclipse with a wider orb is your Moon in Leo in 6th house. Watch for a tendency to get prickly due to a sense of hurt pride. It's just eclipse energies.. think before you react and lash out as your Mercury in Scorpio might make you want to do. Take care of your health as well - make sure to get plenty of sleep and eat well-balanced meals (though not within an hour of when the eclipse is exact - that may cause indigestion if you happen to be where the eclipse is visible - due to the fluctuating energies).

The eclipse will be exact around 8 PM NZDT and able to be seen in New Zealand and parts of the southern hemisphere, though not in Australia. A website I consulted says, "The eclipse is principally visible from all the Antarctic continent and Ocean. However the early stages reach further north to be visible from the southern parts of South Africa soon after the start of the eclipse. It will also be visible from the island of Georgia where the eclipse will be in progress as the Sun rises.

The final stages of the eclipse are also visible further north, including Tasmania and the South Island of New Zealand where the Sun sets during the eclipse. In the southern part of the North Island the eclipse begins very close to the time of sunset. North of a line from about New Plymouth to Napier no stage of the eclipse is visible."

Hope this helps, Libreo.. There isn't anything unduly concerning, just tendencies to be aware of - and I believe that knowing this can only help one better prepare to tackle it. Everything that comes our way is an opportunity, and you are better equipped to respond appropriately now to opportunities in your sphere.

Let me know if this resonates with you, and how it goes. I hope this eclipse is either uneventful or very positive for you.

Phew! I am relieved. The hurt pride bit was probably the most worrying and if that's all I have to worry about then that's good. I did get worried because the July eclipse really shook my whole world and I've only just come back from that.
Looks like you have gone to a lot of time and effort to do this for me and you don't get anything out of it so I really do thank you and appreciate it so much.
Thankyou very much sunshine9.

Hello Sunshine9,

Can you take a quick look at my chart too to see where the eclipse will hit? I always scoff at their announcement until the last ones completely rocked my life in June/July. I can't seem to post the chart correctly on the board but if you agree I'll add my birth info to be deleted later.
Thanks.

Cool stuff ss9. The eclipse will be conj my Merc, Saturn, & Venus (out of sign conj), also trining my Moon. This sounds interesting.
