In my grade there were about an equal amount of snakes and dragons, and then about 1/4 were rabbits. So that actually isn't really true. Now in my high school i was in choir...and everyone was categorized by the year they were born....the people born in 1989 were all snakes and they were all very defensive, reserved and everyone else in the other years hated them because they were so snobby and judgmental. You could definitely notice the sharp contrast between them and the horses or, say the tigers for example. Reserved, introspective, and bitchy-looking vs. totally spontaneous loud and crazy people. lol. Just sayin..

the snake is actually the 6th placement in the chinese zodiac and the pig being the opposite sign of snake is the last sign. btw hehe

im an earth snake, ive always loved the description of snake, its very true especially when i read the libra snake. snakes planet is suppose to be venus.. soo maybe with strong venus influence it accentuates the snakes sophisticated nature and with fire or scorpio it brings out the more vindictive side of the snake.. i dunno but im sure planet placements alter the snakes qualities or enhances them. i always feel like i can relate to the intuitive, secretive, loner side of the snake.

yearly descriptions are pretty interesting though, the mayans also had yearly interpretations and i think for my year its north? and it describes that year as a "cold" year symbolically and being adept at adjusting to natures conditions and being logical/intellectual.

Lol thanks Sand

The snake is correlated with taurus, yep. And the pig is scorpio since it's the opposite sign. The rabbit is pisces and the goat is cancer. The rooster is virgo, and the ox is capricorn. The monkey is leo, the dragon is aries, and the rat is sag. The horse is gemini, the dog is libra, and the other sign that's left is aquarius but I forgot who it was.

Some of the traits correlate, but not completely. Like the monkey doesnt really wnjoy being center of attention like the leo. That's more a snake or dragon trait. The dog doesnt like beauty and socializing like a libra does, that's specifically a snake sign thing. And the boar or pig is much more like a cancer than a scorpio beause it is naive, shy, hypersensitive, and kind of plain and a total homebody. Abd the rabbit is too selective and antisocial to be a true pisces. The goat fits cancer pretty well.

I was just wondering why it is that Snakes have such sophisticated tastes because I feel kind of different in society. Everyone else listens to reggaeton or rock or whatever and here I am listening to classical and jazz. I was wondering if it was a materialistic and snobby thing, or if it was due to something else. I was trying to understand myself better.

Its funny I couldnt figure out my prof, odd guy always in his office by 5:30am.

I figured out he was a snake based on his birth year. He likes being alone first thing in the morning and does his own thing.

Anyway, this Gemini Ox has no problems with all snakes.

I've read that the Gemini Ox is the least "textbook defined gemini".

This seems to be very true in my experiences, particular the thing about the eyes. It is actually...unnerving. It was for me anyway. Lol.

But isn't the whole year of 89 a snake? I'm a snake, and I think it's kinda hard to lump a whole year of people with a few characteristics. Sophistication is sth a select few people these days actually possess. Since you know sophistication implies you're intelligent, + well read + worldly + mature and classy all at once.
