I met this Cancer guy tonight with Moon in Scorpio, Mercury in Cancer, and Venus in Cancer. Needless to say I'm hesitant (well, I still need to get to know him but still.) I wonder if I already crushed his feelings but apparently he's liked me since high school, and yet I've never knew who he was. We shall see. OH I was going to say I guess that thing about Venus in Cancer liking curves is pretty true.

Here's the synastry... yay or nay guys? I saw that cluster of planets near my ASC, what's that mean for him?

He idealizes your appearance (your ASC conjunct his MC), or your way of looking at the world is perfectly in line with what he aspires. You both place emphasis on intellect. He has Chiron in Gemini conjunct MC. Perhaps he had a sibling (Gemini) or father (10th House Chiron) who made him feel intellectually inadequate, and as a result he is deeply driven to be acknowledged for his intellectual achievements. Your being articulate brings up this wound, and if he does have a sibling you may even remind him of him/her.

His Venus conjunct your Chiron has to be handled carefully. Venus can't keep Chiron out...feels too vulnerable so will build walls, which will hurt Chiron (I interpret Cancer Chiron in 1st as your mother emotionally rejecting or abusing you when you were very young. You said that your parents would try to make you cry on purpose, right? Well, when he first puts up those walls, it will make you feel that hurt again) but Chiron somehow gets through again, and this cycle will repeat until Venus learns that there's no way the love for Chiron can be controlled, it just IS. Chiron is hurt through the whole process. But if you're both mature enough, eventually your pain and his love will be joined and a deep healing won. Love and pain...his Cancer side will secretly dig that.

If someone can't handle that level of intense vulnerability, it'll be like that Leona Lewis song, "Bleeding Love."

Your NN conjuncts his Juno...a relationship with him is in line with your spiritual path in this lifetime.

Those Saturn opp's will be challenging but since both your Saturns are engaged, the relationship should stabilize in time.

Warning...he has a 7th House NN. Sign of a commitmentphobe, because they are learning how to compromise and move with another in this lifetime. They crave being in a relationship but also fear the responsibilities and the possibility of losing themselves. But your Sun in his 7th should help, because you activate his partnership urge.

I don't know about his family yet. We went to high school together but I don't remember him at all (he was a popular football player. And I don't remember him. Where was I?) But that's really ironic you say that. I always seem to pick up things and then they'll be reinforced to me later and this is one of those instances. I have all that Gemini influence, right? So naturally I look for a partner I can spar with, talk to, etc. Well I mean he's a funny guy, seems really nice and I'm attracted to him but I could tell just from last night it might take us a minute to understand each other intellectually. I don't think he's dumb, it just takes him awhile to formulate what he wants to say (all those Cancer influences) so I'll have to learn patience (which I'm sure is part of the karma...) but I was thinking last night about the intellectual mismatch, or the rhythm of communication. Hmm.

I think my Moon opposition Pluto will too. But in lamen's terms what you're saying is the whole opening of wounds and intense passion filled fights that are frustrating, but somehow keep us together at the same time... is what he'll dig?

Would that change if I knew his real birth time? He broke up with his girlfriend nearly 7 months ago. I hope he's over her. And you're saying since my Sun is in his 7th, that he wants to be with me specifically?

By the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH for looking at this.

You're welcome And yeah, need to disregard the first & final paragraph of my other post if you don't know his birth time. Also, that Moon-Pluto cross aspect might not be so intense if it turns out he was born a few hours before or after the time used here, since the Moon moves fast.

Re: the Venus-Chiron conjunction, I don't think it points to dramatics as much as it does to vulnerability. And Cancers do seem to enjoy emotional drama in dysfunctional relationships.

Here's an informative thread regarding Venus-Chiron synastry. Towards the bottom, someone talks about the other person's Chiron on her ascendant:
