What is your moon sign? I'm a Cap so I get along with Tauruses until their simplicity starts to make my Moon in Aquarius want to shake them up. Which will never happen with those complacent mofos (haha).

I think women grow into our Moon signs as we mature. I read somewhere that a woman's Venus sign is what she is socially conditioned to try to be, but her Moon sign is her true feminine identity. And that a man's Sun sign is what he aspires to be, but that as he ages, he becomes his Mars sign. I don't know how the reasoning behind that theory goes, but from what I'm observing in my parents, it seems accurate.

Well pluto makes someone strong willed, determined and passionate? Which are good things lol, but yeah. Maybe he'll be a good boy and not go crazy on you.

It's like my experiences with venus in Gem. I was hoping it was more an exception than a rule. But then I found that unfortunately the stereotype is pretty true?

I don't know why I meet alot of scorpio moons or people heavy in pluto. I only have a pluto in 8th scorpy. I'm mostly like air and earth. With a fire rising.

I have mixed feelings on that. I have a Taurus moon, and displayed a lot of the negative Taurus traits when I was younger. I refused to cry in front of my parents 'cause I thought that would make them happy, since I knew they were TRYING to make me cry and "get through" to me. I was really really shy until 8th grade, and hated to share. Now that I'm older I seem to display the more positive traits. Being calm, poised, and steady, etc.

That bit about the Moon/Venus sign is ridiculously brilliant. I couldn't agree more. I am not a raging sex kitten all Venus in Aries (and Aries in general) women are written to be. I'm not. Although I can be attracted to anybody, I wouldn't hop into bed with all of them. I don't move on easily from things as Aries are said to do. I definitely identify with my Taurus moon much more. Gah, I can't get over that itty-bitty fact of brilliance.

Not all Leo's are showy... As for me Im very introverted... I only get showy if, Im comfortable with a person, and have known them for a very long time.. That its done with the leo child-like charisma

As for expecting everything handed to them, I dont really agree with that at all...
Leo want a strong partner (which you may not know) A leo relies are their Independence and self reliance.
I dont think a leo would really respect someone waiting on them hand and foot... ( even though it seems like it.. Thats really not the case) Yes Leos want to be treated like a king/queen, but that really has nothing to do with someone waiting on you hand and foot...

I think the way Leo wants compliments and to be treated like #1 is misunderstood..
But hey thats just me!! lol

I always thought Leos had a kind of regalness to them. Like the way they stand? And project a kind of honour?
Being flamboyant can be a good thing =) I like the way leo guys smile. It's like =D

Well, I treat Cancers like I think Leos want to be treated. So I tried treating a Leo like I do a Cancer and it wasn't enough, and backfired on me. My "technique" didn't work! I was like "What? This is unfamiliar territory... danger! Danger, Will Robinson!"

And I get so frustrated lol 'cause I want fire sign friends, but I guess I subconsciously don't want to handle them 'cause their nature conflicts with my Taurus moon. In any case, how you described yourself is also how I am. I don't let out my Aries can of worms until I'm comfortable. I am a strong person but I don't understand how to treat someone like a king or queen WITHOUT waiting on them hand and foot (which I would never do for long anyway, 'cause I'd get bored really fast with that.)

Yeah, Venus in Gemini... good for a friend, not so good for a lover.

And that's exactly why you meet a lot of Scorpios or water types. Your pluto sounds like it's a singleton planet and singletons are 1,000 times stronger than a water sun, so I've been told.

It could also be a case of attracting what you lack. Pluto is a singleton in my chart too and like I said, I attract a lot of Cancers (I have two as three as friends) and a Scorpio BFF. But she has a Capricorn moon that cages in all her Scorpio craziness lol (Scorpio ASC, Merc in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio... so see, I can handle crazy as long as I'm comfortable, lmao.)

Great to have feedback on that theory!

It sounds like your Taurus Moon grounds those Aries placements a lot, especially since it's exalted in Taurus. Plus that Pluto singleton in your House of Romance... Pluto likes undercurrents after all, not putting it all out there.

Yeah, I'd say a Leo guy would clash with your Moon. But they could also (inadvertently, of course) provide opportunities for growth, from all that friction.

IDK.. Sounded like you were trying to hard, and the person saw through that...

Plus (idk) treating a leo like a cancer, sounds clingy... lol

Ill try to describe the way a leo wants to be treated...

I want someone to just know me, w/o me having to explain me self.. This includes my ever changing moods.. ( ok..lol)
Know when I need to be alone, know when I need a hug, know when IM in a bad mood and give me space.. Ill get over it... Or make me laugh, but know if its appropriate or not.. LOL
If Im sick Ok ok come and take care of me
cuz Im a big baby..

BELIEVE in me and my loyalty and commitment.. Dont question this, cuz if you do, then you dont know me..
Accusations annoy me, and Ill give you the answer you dont want.

Tell me no other will do..

See I dont ask for much!!!

ROFL!!!!!!!

Ok.. so thats just a wee bit of it

I didn't know one planet could ground three Aries placements. I do think it grounds it, but then again my Scorpio friend is always nitpicking me and telling me I came off rude when interacting with some people. I think she does that to undermine my confidence though (however conscious or subconscious.... I just shrug it off.)

And yeah, Leo men's general nature does but we have a lot of eerie similarities down to having the same habits even though we don't know each other. It's kind of sad 'cause I think "Oh how cool would it be if this worked? OH, you just snapped for the waiter? Right. Nevermind, then."

Okay. I definitely see he wasn't a lunatic afterall, just being a Leo. I didn't "know" him.

But here's what I'm trying to wrap my head around - how do you expect someone who DOESN'T KNOW YOU to know you!!! I mean that in general. To me, even being an Aries, that sounds unrealistic (I have Gem rising, and a Taurus moon if that's any justification.)

The Moon is exalted (puts its best face forward) in Taurus, so it would be more comfortable than say, Venus in Aries, a sign ruled by Mars.

I find Leos are straightforward and are happy with smiles and nods. When it comes to needing flattery and unabashedly fishing for it, Libras take the cake IME.

Random question for you, hanna. When you're under stress, do you eat to forget the problem until it goes away? Asking because I got in a fight with a Taurus Moon and he stopped talking and started eating.

Thats the challange..lol. You have to take the time to get to know me... Of course I dont expect that when I first met someone... But I do expect them to show, they are making an effort to get to know me.
Trust me, I know I want let just anyone in... So yeah its something that will take a while for...
But persistent is flattery... LOL

Short a version, show interest on the inside of me, and then just know me, by my actions....
For the most part.. Ill say it... Ill say.. Im not in the mood to chat... meaning let me be, I need space... I need alone time..

Leos can have Cancer placements (Merc&Venus).. and Cancers can have Leo placements... so they can be similar, being semi-sextile signs.
But generally Leos are more overt and have a very strong, well-defined personality. They like to shine in the lime-light. Cancers are more hidden, behind the scenes and more emotionally supportive, rather than centre-stage.

Personally - I'm closer to Leo Suns, but there are always exceptions. The only thing that bothers me with some Cancer people is that I feel like I'm walking on egg shells.. I can't completely be *me*. It depends on the rest of their chart though!

OH. In that case, I understand you. You're not cryptic, you just want someone to put in effort. Is there such a thing to you as putting in too much of an effort? Asking too many questions? Or can you not get enough of it 'cause then the focus is all you?

I wish I could get rid of my Venus in Aries. I look at charts as plays and the planets are all supporting actors of the Sun sign, but I can't figure out how having two other planets in Aries helps me UNLESS the Cosmos somehow knew I'd be very Snake-ish (Chinese astrology) and knew I'd need THREE shots of espresso, not just one, to have an even personality? Did that make sense?

And yes, I'm a compulsive eater for sure. I actually think I'm empathic to a degree, but of course when I was 7 I didn't know. Food is comforting to me (as it is to millions of people) and I know that kind of relationship with is dysfunctional but it can become like a security blanket at times. It doesn't have to be junk food either, I'll eat carrots, salad, cucumber, whatever. But if I'm at home and feel anxious, insecure, or angry it's natural to me to turn to food first.

I'd also be prepared to extend the olive branch first with your friend. I know when I'm ****** that my pride takes over (maybe that's the Aries in me coming out) and I might not be AS mad as I was, but I still won't apologize or make the first move. Especially if I think I'm right. And especially if I think the other person is not on the same emotional page as me.

Well of course start of light.. Questions that would get me to talk about myself, oohh and humor...
Like sharing embarrassing moments.. Save the intimate questions for later times, when the timing is right.. lol

Leo's love to tell stories, especially about our selves...

I don't know. I've said it before and I'll say it again.... I can hang with Leo women, I like them (the mature ones, anyway). Leo men.... they don't act like this. Maybe it's them being men, not being Leos necessarily but like being a Leo MAN just exacerbates the inherent ******* -ness.

LOL totally would. Taurus moons get mad, yes, but once they're not mad they're not the best at reading people (I know, depends on aspects). We're actually quite gentle souls, lover not a fighter, and timid. I HATE conflict surprisingly enough. Conflict makes me very uncomfortable.
