Topic: Wondering if anyone finds cancer men to act more like "Leos"

Wanted to know your experiences with Sun and Venus Cancers (or both Sun/Venus Cancers) and if they act like Leos? I get along with Cancers great, Leos NO. and I'm an Aries. I find Cancers act more social and bubbly, are easier to console and smooth over arguments with than Leos. They behave more of what's described as "Leo" behavior in textbooks, to me.IP: Logged |

Lol, cancer men can be a bit of a drama queen, but I don't know if theyre quite like leos tho. I tend to make friends with cancer sun/moon men for some reason, I enjoy theyre company. Theyre cute and whiney and full of mischeif, lol, love em.IP: Logged |

Maybe cos some of them have alot of gemini in them? They say Leos need attention, but personally I think Cancer's a much more needy for attention. IP: Logged |

My old friend is a Cancer sun and moon, and yes very big babies but I read him like a book. This new Cancer is a Sun/Merc/Venus one (as I'm Sun/Merc/Venus in Aries..) but he has a Scorpio moon (2nd one. I think I'm seeing a pattern.) The thought of all that water makes me weary.... but he has Mars in Leo so I'm hoping it will kind of act as a barricade against that "Hoover Dam" ish chart. Anyway, my point is he was like a Leo last night and it felt really comfortable being around him. Usually I'm not that much at ease with Scorpio moons, but I suspect it's the Cancer in him. They are, but I think Cancers are easier to trust and I'm not sure why that is. I've never trusted a Leo for longer than a year, but see I've never had to regret that either. They always ended up trying to screw me over somehow, and that's never been a case when I'm dealing with Cancers. Sure, Cancers aren't direct but if I can guess what it is they really mean they're honest about it. IP: Logged |

Lmao, but what do you define as 'insane'? I was a little surprised he got visibly annoyed we wanted to leave early. He was like pouty, and I'm thinking "Wait, you're a Cancer... aren't you supposed to be GOOD at hiding your feelings?" What's weird though is I dated someone who vedically speaking would've been a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon and yeah he was definitely insane and into power trips about everything. But I wondered if maybe a western Cancer sun/Scorp moon would translate into something different/better. If you consider Gemini sun/Libra moon better.... Also, I've heard Scorpio sun/Pisces moon people are insane from a friend of mine and then my own unfortunate experience. IP: Logged |

What are your 5 personal planets in? And his is... Cancer sun,
Scorp moon
Cancer merc
Cancer Venus
Mars in Leo
Jupiter in Aries
Saturn in Sagittarius
Uranus in Sagittarius
Neptune in Capricorn I'm praying he really does have a Virgo ascendant, but I don't think so. He's definitely not metrosexual. He's big and burly and works construction, really pale and naturally really blonde. Definitely has Cancer-looking eyes though.

Woah sounds like you're gonna be having quite a hard time with this one. The fire mars gives him alittle ego, the cancer will make him insecure and moody, the scorpio AND cancer will test you, play mind games. Will twist things around to their favour, the ego in combo will mean he's always right.
OOH did I mention you're probably going to be semi emotionally abused? Cos too much water in a chart just ain't great. Scorpio moons in a guy makes them really difficult. They blow up easily and say really effed up things that they don't mean. Cancers will be all hot and cold and you'll never be able to really trust this guy. He also has alot of squares (eg moon square mars - prepare for his temper and emotional outbursts)IP: Logged |

Well, Cancer correlates with the adolescent phase and Leo to the teenager. Both need a lot of attention but Leo has a developed ego identity which he proudly showcases to be admired whereas Cancer needs her existence acknowledged, to be assured that she matters. Leo = Sun, which casts its own steady light and can't be overlooked. Cancer = Moon which can't shine unless a spotlight is shone on it.IP: Logged |

....okay. I'll take what you say with a grain of salt because no offense, but many of your posts are negative. I'm kinda laughing because for once you didn't add a " :/ " face to this one. Although this could be the case, astro.com doesn't even show his moon making contact with his mars (could just be 'cause it's the free interpretation however.) I don't see him as having an ego, and if he does, that's fine 'cause I can handle it. Plus, that way he'll at least have SOME dignity instead of being very feminine and whatnot. I think he has just as much potential to be sweet and very caring and loyal as he does to be insane, imo. IP: Logged |

That's very interesting! So if I'm an Aries and I get along with Cancers because Leos showyness bothers me, does that mean I've not yet grown into my full Aries-ness? Then again, what's the right way to act and handle Leos' ego and bossiness? They seriously expect everything to be handed to them on a platter... I only have a singelton planet in the 5th house and that's Pluto in Scorpio.

This is from the net. Based on what I went through in the past, I'd say they were being nice?4-8 Cancer/Scorpio

And their description is more on the positive side, and had less of the negative stuff which happens more often. But this side of him will only come out when you're with the guy in a relationship for at least 4 months. That site is brilliant, too. I wish more sites had sun/moon combinations intertwined rather than giving a 'script of them separately, on the same page. Like that's useful. I'm not sure yet. He went to high school w/me (i don't remember him but I was new the year he graduated) and was popular, on the football team and is in a band. He seems pretty well adjusted and not like the creepy artist brother in Wedding Crashers. On the flip side all that water could explain why he attracts crazy-ish people (excluding me of course, lol). I mean... I met him through a guy who recently got out of rehab and who I know for a fact has robbed a liquor store in the past although that guy isn't someone I see very often. IP: Logged |
