I can see how you probably attract people without even trying, yes? I would imagine the intellectual need comes from your Libra/Scorpio placement, and perhaps people see you as weak or a pushover which (including the Scorpio in your chart) can be a magnet for unfortunate things like harassment and assault. I notice Scorpios/influenced people tend to attract the seedy underbelly of society a lot easier than the preppy family next door, you know what I mean? There can be a darkness about them that's familiar (not saying this about you but the Scorpios I know).

I've had so-so experiences with gay guys. The ones I knew were very feminine and girly like which I found equally interesting comparing to my Scorpio friend who gets along better with straight men than anything. They didn't like her either. I didn't really care for the gay guys because I found them to be shallow, self-absorbed and incredibly selfish, even if they were my friends, and even if they were hilarious. Then again that was some years ago. My last gay guy friend was my ex-boyfriend (and you wonder why we broke up. -_- ) but sadly he turned out to be insane in the year I knew him.

I agree about wanting to skim the marriage/babies conversation in favor of more in-depth topics. I find intellectual women are harder for me to relate to, but stay-at-home wannabes are for me as well. I've always fell in the middle of nearly everything in my life which is something I can't figure out why but I'm sure Libra is involved somewhere. I live in the bible belt... do you know how hard it is to find a NORMAL and not-creepy person who is interested in astrology and tarot? I practically have to teach my friends about it in hopes they'll humor me when I'm dying to share a new insight.

I like women for their female side

Women can be fun because they are competitive in different ways to men.

And you have Venus in Aquarius? This doesn't surprise me, honestly. I've found Aquarius men have a much more feminine soul about them than other signs. My Aquarius guy friend doesn't have many male friends either. He has a lot of girl friends and it's very easy for him to woo women.

HOWEVER, that being said, I tend to have much deeper friendships with men. Only certain types of men though, as I am also not interested in sports, etc. I am extremely intelligent and I love a good debate, and I think this is a large part of the appeal. I hate to say it, but many women don't do well with any type of conflict (even if it's just a friendly one). To me, I'm not necessarily attached to my position on an emotional level (just on a mental one), so it doesn't bother me. Also, I get along better with men because I don't only like stereotypically female things. I love being outdoors, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc. I'm just adventurous.

I find that though I do get along well on the surface with most women, they often feel threatened by me (for whatever reason), though I am not intentionally throwing that vibe out. So, except for with a select few, I tend to keep them at arm's length, as I've had many stab me in the back. It doesn't help that some of the male 'friends' that I've had in the past will sometimes flirt with other women either to make me jealous or to make the other women jealous. Luckily I'm usually on to them, so I just ignore it, but not all women are that savvy...

I get picked on by women, especially those my age, because they were jealous of my success and they don't think I'm feminine enough. When I started college, my female roommates had a problem with my Reservoir Dogs poster on my side of the dorm, that I study to the point I burn out, and that I don't act feminine enough.

The roommates were more outgoing than I was, and they also had a problem that I didn't talk much and listen to 80s college and goth rock.

Yes, I have Venus in Aquarius.

Please don't misunderstand. It can get irritating, and its doubly difficult as a married man because there can be misunderstanding of intent from third parties, and I've had to cut a few apron strings because of a few women friends getting a tad too "comfortable," whether they are married or not.

Its been even worse when the woman is single and I'm not. Going to a club/pub/hotel lobby would seem out of the question. It would be a nightmare bumping into a third party and having to explain myself.

Unless a guy has an understanding wife, as I do, it can also be rough with the explanations of why almost 100% of my best friends are women, and how I can manage to go out with a woman friend and remain platonic.

Words and expressions also get in the way. Guys can high five and hand slap each other all day long. Women want hugs and kisses, and they also want verbal assurances. Things can get dicey very quickly for a married man when words of camraderie and platonic affection get deep and emotional. Or compliments get overboard. Or when a friend wants a friendly kiss goodbye/goodnight (as in on the lips) and the tension suddenly increases tenfold. Or if a woman starts to touch my hand, or touches my shoulder. How far do I go before removing the woman's hand? Its very complicated.

I used to cringe at the ILY thing, but I've become immune. Yeah. ILY. Whatever. lol

Would you allow your husband to take his close friend to dinner and come home at bedtime? Of course not. Yet, I sometimes have to tell my wife: "honey, I'm going to dinner with the girls (never singularly during dinner!)" Therefore, I have active lunch appointments with my women friends. It helps that a couple of them are so rich that they don't think twice about sharing/flipping the bill, especially since women like fine dining!

one of my best friends is cap but he likes those things i think..

Other than that, I enjoy housekeeping matters, cooking, children, family, relationship, fashion, jewelry, etc., which is most things the majority of women talk about.

i mean i can watch some form of combat on tv. a basketball game i understand it and play well but can't watch 1 every week and be really into it with stats and all. i like martial arts as exercise. i don't get bored with something like muay thai or arnis for example..

i like speed too. tho i like fast boats over fast cars just by a tad bit.
