I can think things to myself all I want, but my mouth won't flow with put-downs. Who would I be to talk about someone like that To be precise, if I am coming by someone who IMO is dressed "inappropriate" for the public eye...my face will in fact scream out what my mouth won't.

I used to have a Scorpio with Aries Moon friend. She and her Aries sister made up "The Criticizing Game," where they would talk smack about and criticize random unaware passers-by. Make fun of their walks, fashion sense, and specific body parts (e.g. "That girl has the weirdest calves.").

I remember once we were in a bus stop..There was another girl standing nearby. She was average looking - she just looked like any other girl really.

My "friend" suddenly became bit*chy (out of the blue) and started asking me whether "it" (referring to the other girl) is a man or a woman? She was saying it pretty loudly and I'm pretty sure the girl heard. I kept sush-ing her.. and telling her to cut it out. She was like: "Seriously! I can't tell whether it's a man or a woman. Can you ask IT?"
I'm just like: O_O - SHUT the HELL UP!!!!!

So eventually she cut it out but then we got on the bus.. and she was talking about how scared she was that the "man-woman" (as she called this girl) would get off at the same bus stop as her. Well it so happened that she DID.
So before my 'friend' got off the bus she was dragging my arm asking me to go with her - because she is scared of the man-woman.. (loudly again! So the girl heard - again!)

I would adore you! You clearly had/have a mind of your own...Even while the "friend" was being a buttcheek! That is a prime example of being flat out mean and susceptible to a blackeye Walking amongst ppl like that makes bystanders an easy target for trouble on account of them. Tisk tisk...

BettyBoop: That must have been mortifying. I was once on the subway with a friend who kept declaring, "I don't shower anyway!" It was embarrassing but at least the other passengers gave us plenty of personal space.

Truthfully? Everybody gossips sometimes, even the people who claim they don't. I actually don't trust people who claim they don't, just like I don't trust people who insist they never ever lie. To me both things are a natural human trait (no I'm not saying they're GOOD ones). To me it's all about how much you do it; if you're constantly talking about others behind their back, then to me that's an indication of poor character. Having said that, I tend to respect people a bit more who will actually say that stuff to someone's face as well, but that's not all that common. Most people like to think they're tough and would do so, but frankly most are cowards.

As far as astro-indicators? I'm sure people will pin it on the more social and talkative signs like Gemini, Libra, so on and so forth but honestly, I've never seen a person who doesn't gossip, and I've pretty much interacted with every sign under the rainbow so there you go. I don't think any sign is more or less predisposed to it - including Scorpio, despite being known for it's secrecy. A lot of times that secrecy extends only to their own personal life and business, but they'll gladly pass on gossip they hear about others.

How could we joke around in life or form an opinion w/o some kind of chitter chatter throughout a day. However, I'm aiming the radar on malicious chitter chatter. The ones who pose as trouble makers, wreaking in negativity, debby-downers and blatant @$$holes. Speaking aloud, directly or with sarcasm to rile someone up. Clearly ppl who aim to sting. No ones ousting the fact that if you're opinionated then you're wrong and shouldn't "gossip" amongst your chosen audience. If you read the forum its quite obvious playful banter or cackling is norm...we're fixated on the ppl who IMO are jerks when their mouths run amuk and foul for no legitimate reason...Hence the very ones I personally would 1-1-1 if you catch me on the wrong day. It is what it is!
