Well, sometimes 12th house ruler may differentiate depending which house system you are using so, observe your life and choose accordingly.
it is believed that the house position which your 12th ruler(OR SOMETIMES WHICH HOUSE SATURN IS IN) is in shows which areas you are betrayed, abandoned or suffered.... And since you suffered from it, now in this lifetime you have an extra karma to spend or gain. In any cases, it is deserved.
Also don't forget that you can be suffering even now with that placements. Sometimes to correct karma and understanding right thing to do, so called "bad" things have to be done.In order people to understand each other they surely go through what bad happened to other. Without having same pain, people never truly understand each other AND THIS IS WHY ALL HAS TO SUFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12th house ruler in 1st house.
you suffered when you are child in your past lives. You suffered because of yourself -> that "yourself" can be your apperance, self-esteem and vanity. This is a heavy character karma there. Also afflicted planets can also show these type of sufferings in 1st house.
So abandon yourself, abandon your appereance, abandon your self-esteem, forget your childhood... When you become conscious, you realize that you are in negative territory.. So grow quickly...
12th house ruler in 2th house.
You suffered from poverty, self-worth, values or even love(love is a value) shortly what is important in past life.
So never appreciate when you have money, never satisfy with whatever you have. Know that you deserve more and do whatever to get it. You may lack spiritual side so try to enhance it as well. First learn to love yourself and then you can appreciate your things.
12th house ruler in 3rd house
You suffered from your mind in your past lives such as mental instability, pshychological conditions, communication. You also suffered from your siblings, neighboors and short travels or even your voice.

This is also the house of finding your own god, being alone and feeling complete with universe at the sametime..
It can also show suffering from emotions.

Mert I thought this was blunt but honest and I could relate to it. I've actually decided to throw ambitions out the window considering I don't have much anyways. I spent a good part of my life trying to live up to the expectations of all the authority figures in my life including my parents. After I graduated college I practically screamed screw our conventional society I'm living life on my terms. I've been living off the wall ever since. Uh...*makes the "Who Farted?" face* Nah, I go agree more with the general idea that you need to focus on what your North Node sign is, the house it's in, and work on developing the qualities of that sign, as it relates to the area of life attributed to that particular house. In a nutshell - I think these interpretations are dubious.

12 house ruler in 10th house. Considering my 12th house ruler(s) are said to be Mars/Pluto co-ruling by some (I forget if it's Pluto or Mars that's supposed to be the single ruler in interpretations offhand), and considering Mars and Pluto are conjunct in my 10th house... (edit: Helps if I specify it's Scorpio in my 12th house).Hmm... I have had a possible past-life interpretation where I went for it all and lost it all. But abandon success/ambition in this life? Um, no. If I have to repeat some lesson next time, so be it but I'm not going to hold myself back like that (intentionally). Not happening. (Although, the authority thing I'm really starting to see happening, especially as I look at the asteroids conjunct Mars/Pluto)... IP: Logged |

You mentioned Saturn too...What if my 12H ruler is in 9H, Saturn is in 8H, and 8th & 9th house have the same ruler??Does that indicate something?! Also, I've heard somewhere (not sure, maybe it was on Lindaland too) the smallest houses in your chart by degree (in Placidus?) rule the areas you mastered in your pastlife, are heavily karmic or something....and yeah, my 8th & 9th are the smallest...What should I do, oh wise one? I know someone with that placement, he works on the side in his church, and sits on a committee for a local women's shelter, donates a lot of his time driving donated medical supplies to Mexico, etc. So that's another example. He also has a heavy Pisces/h9 influence for religious/spiritual matters. He's not a slacker, he has a good job, but his career is not the 'end all be all' for him since he meets disappointments in how the organization he works for is managed (don't they all lol).
Also he talks a lot about how just when he thinks there's a promotion ready for him, or something good coming for the company, there's always some lil political game being played that throws it all off course, and he goes home feeling slightly defeated re:things that are pretty much out of his control.IP: Logged |

They do sound a bit fatalistic, but the house that holds the ruler of the 12th is typically the house where we meet enemies/have people working against us in those affairs behind the scenes. So I do understand where the interpretations are coming from. I find them quite funny tbh.
