Venus, my mother's tongue is also Slavic (with a bit of Latin), do you still live around um, here? On topic, my eyes burn at bad grammar too, Mercury in House 6. IP: Logged |

I once lived with a Russian girl in NY. She told me that Russian is so difficult that she doesn't even know it all. IP: Logged |

I took it for a semester in college and I was so confused at all times. Learning a new alphabet is one thing, but then with the cases and genders -- my favorite phrase during that class was, "Не знаю." (I don't know.) IP: Logged |

Romance languages I studied Italian for 6 years. When I was in Disney EPCOT a couple of years ago, I completed my entire transaction at EPCOT Italy in Italian. The beverage stand people were so impressed. And I was incredibly intoxicated. IP: Logged |

Soon, you will be delighting in the experience of having intoxicated Koreans (every night is soju night!) practicing their English on you. The tables have turned. The universe works in mysterious ways. IP: Logged |

I'm excited! I'm just worried that my Sagittarius Rising foot-in-mouth tendencies are going to get me in trouble while enjoying soju night. I suppose I can try to play the clueless foreigner card. Re: Mercury retrograde -- since I totally derailed the entire topic -- nothing major has occurred. It'll be passing back over my ASC, so we'll see if my phone explodes or something. IP: Logged |

Yay! Venus, if you ever come around here, look for me on the forum, I'll be more than happy to have you I told you I'm confused with this retrograde. My language is indeed Latin based, but we were conquered by all the surrounding nations, so it's a medley of languages. quote: The Slavic influences on this language are especially noticeable and can be observed at all linguistic levels: lexis, phonetics, morphology and syntax.[citation needed] About 14% of the words are of Slavic origin.[citation needed] This is due to the migration of Slavic tribes who traversed the territory of present-day country during the early evolution of the language.
Sono surpresa che tutti parlate italiano qui Io parlo il francese, ma amo il italiano. The first time I went to Italy, I surprised myself and my husband, as I was speaking almost fluently. I grew up with italian television, but other than that, never had classes. I'm sure that my grammar is awful, though IP: Logged |
