Is it transiting any of your natal placements, or those of your friend?

It's conjunct my natal Mercury right now but so far nothing malfunctioned on me. However, one of my neighbors (a Gemini) was making a fuss in the hallway early this morning because she couldn't find her phone. My natal Mercury is in my 3rd House (neighbors). =D

Yeah personal possessions makes sense.

The conjunction to your moon-Saturn could manifest/reflect goings-on in your parents' lives. Whenever my Sun receives a hard transit, my father is facing a challenge. He and I have major karmic ties (Saturn on angle, luminary on Vertex, etc).

I usually don't notice it, but this time I am really incoherent. My Mercury is in Pisces anyway, so it takes a lot for me to explain what I mean, but today I was trying to explain something and at one point just resigned with the idea that I wasn't making any sense.

I'm about to drive back home....haven't had any serious malfunctions in speech or mechanics thus far...so hopefully this means my poor hapless neighbors and siblings used up all the retrograding energy due me, hahas.

EDIT: The only retrograde Mercury-ish thing that happened to me today was that I left the gas on when I ran out for groceries. The last time I did that was in October of 2010 but Mercury was direct then....so... nothing particularly related to retro Mercury happened to me even though it was conjunct my natal Mercury. Zzzzzz....

Although, regarding that site, my Virgo Moon twitches every time I read "in retrograde." Retrograde is either an adjective or a verb - not a noun. A planet is either retrograde or in retrograde motion or retrograding/retrograded, etc.

I get into trouble with my compulsive need for proper grammar sometimes. When I was in college I took an advanced writing workshop class. We all had to write short stories and everyone would read them, write comments and suggestions and discuss them in class. This one kid wrote what amounted to a landfill of atrocious grammar and spelling errors and I think my eyes started to bleed. Naturally I took a red pen (or two) to his story and I brought it up in class that he should probably proofread. His response? "Actually, I'm dyslexic." I wanted to die.

I would like to know your opinion on the Oxford comma, since it seems you are not a fan of it.

When Mercury looks like it's going backwards. If you go to astro.com and look at the "Current Planets" box, the small r next to Mercury means it's currently in retrograde motion.

Supposedly, this affects machinery and communications.

Lols, that was probably worse for you than for him. I bet it wasn't the first time something like that happened to him so he was prolly (oops, I mean PROBABLY!) used to it.

It's funny, because when I was in Elementary school I was taught not to use it. I know what it is and will use it occasionally, but my natural instinct is to ignore it.

My friends in the class were making just as big of a stink about it but didn't have the balls to address it in class.

How many Slavic languages are there? I'm assuming most of the former Yugoslav countries speak a Slavic language. Is Russian considered a Slavic language? I took that for a semester in college. Привет!

Actually there is a rule that allows for the nominalization of an adjective when the noun in the compound expression is dropped. Hence, "in retrograde motion" becomes "in retrograde" where "retrograde" is a nominal element (a "nominalized" adj) and so it's pretty grammatical.

Hope your Virgo Moon feels better.
