Sure, I'll go with that. I do my own thing out of boredom. I live in Oklahoma and here it's alll Boomer Sooner everything (well, Sports everything really) and the girls are cute little 5'5" peaches and cream, tan, with those sparkling Fleur De Lis symbols on their shirt and cowboy boots thrown in there somewhere, like it's just YAWN city. I'm an Aries with Gemini rising... I belong in the center of Time Square or something.

Also wanted to add that while we're sometimes conflicting, as I've grown older all of the yelling and horrendous arguments lessened. Now it's not so much that she's trying to control me as it is that she's in my way. Literally and figuratively. For instance, I'll JUST have opened the door to leave and I hear her shrill voice going "Hannaaaaa?" because she needs something. She has a knack for doing this right as I'm about to do something else. She doesn't believe me and thinks I just don't ever want to be bothered but it's true... she just has horrible timing.

LMFAO, wow... my mom and I literally just got into a HUGE fight, and my first thought was, "I've gotta tell the knowflakes about this one!" She just doesn't know how to speak without getting so emotional when she's upset... Gemini Moon + Cancer Mercury = the biggest headache of my life. And she's Filipino so her accent gets all crazy that I don't even understand her sometimes..

What happened was that she got into a car accident, and the woman who hit her told her that it's "okay to not call the police, we can just go to the police station separately". My mom was in a hurry, and because there was obvious damage to the side of her car, she went home.

Lo, and behold, today she went to the police station and the lady said that my mother smashed into the side of her. (The cars were driving parallel) Now, my mother is crazy... but she's not a liar... And the lady was driving a Hyundai Elantra. A coupe. My mother drives a SUV. There is a significant difference between my mother ramming her box frame Xterra into an Elantra, than an Elantra into a Xterra. There's also damage across the left side of her car. It makes more sense that the Elantra side swiped the Xterra because 1) the Xterra's front left headlight is in perfect condition. No scratches. If the Elantra was going straight and the Xterra was driving at an angle into the Elantra, there would be a SIGNIFICANT amount of damage since the Xterra is 3 TIMES larger in size and her headlights are perfect. Not even a scratch. There would be at least damage. It's all Junior High Physics.

I told her to tell the police that, and then she started to tell me that she doesn't need my help, etc etc. All I said back was, "Why did you drag me into this then? Why am I standing in our cold garage trying to figure out this stupid problem for you. You should have had the police come to the scene when it happened in the first place!"

Then she got all offended and called me a brat (That is a very short summary of everything she said to me, most of which was yelling for a good 10 minutes). The end.

My Saturn and Venus are both Aquarius in House 12. My Sun, Mars and Mercury are Capricorn in House 10.

Capriquarius, it's scary how similar our struggles are given some similar Capricorn and Aquarius planets.

Wow, I also had to move far away from my parents. It's especially sad when a Capricorn has to cut away from the ancestral home because family is supposed to be sacred to us. Well, you started your own and like anongirl pointed out, you can use the pain from your past to know how to be a good father by not perpetuating a cycle. I don't know about your papa, but mine was inflicting on me what my psychotic grandma (his mom, and he fittingly has an out-of-sign Moon-Saturn trine) did to him.

My father also wanted me to be a banker, btw. I-banking....very Capricorn. He's a Pisces but has Capricorn rising and Saturn, his ruling planet, in the critical 29th degree. Combine that with Mars in Aries square Uranus in Cancer (explosive temper and physically violent) and he scares the @#$#@@$# out of everyone.

Father is indicated by Sun,primarily.

Mine's in my 4th which doesn't make sense if you consider 4th to be one's home because my daddy actually wasn't home much....but it DOES make sense if the 4th represents core identity, because he wanted me to be his carbon copy.

He doesn't have disability but claims he does to collect money from government, has a problem with drugs. Attracts crazy chicks to his life...his last girlfriend stabbed him about something trivial and he didn't call the police on her. He is lazy but is intellectual and wanted to go to school for which his mother completely discouraged him and did not support him on this. Very sad! Usually I feel most people can overcome things but I get this feeling that with him he will never change. He leaved in my house for free for three months which is around when I started becoming restless in my relationship. I wanted to help him but should have not let hubby bring his friend in, I learned my lesson. Hubby was not that close to him but wanted to help him since he was homeless himself for a week at some point in his life and thought he could use an assistant but this kid is super lazy. I feel bad for him but it was a real bad idea to bring him in our house. He is now staying with another friend. That kids mother is the definition of having a mother who is your enemy.

You know a lot of about astrology....love reading your insights.

Your friend is a perfect textbook example for this thread, eh. Whoa, you are much too kind to let him into your space for three whole months. You seem to have a lot of friends in need....where is Neptune in your chart? In the 11th, it means you're too accomodating to your friends. Thank goodness you know your boundaries though and put your foot down. If someone doesn't want to be helped back onto their feet then there are plenty of others during these hard times who could benefit from your kindness.

Thanks for letting me know my posts are helpful! I learned a lot from reading the past threads here so it's good to know I'm givin back.

Capriaquarius - I have Moon in the 12th and Venus (11H) squaring Saturn in the 7th. All my life I've felt my mother wanted me to be a carbon copy of her, however I'm very frank and outspoken, she usually sees this as opposition and takes it personally and wants to argue when it isn't. During Thanksgiving I mentioned casually I wish I could go to school for metaphysics and she sighed and whined "Why do you always have to be different? Can't you just go to school, join a sorority, laugh...and get married and have babies?"
I said "Well, we moved out of Utah about 10 years ago, and it's not the 1950's anymore. How far back do you want to go Mom, I mean can we still vote?"

I mean really, the 'different' thing really stung.

Sounds like she's afraid of totally losing you if you choose a lifestyle so different from hers. Although that doesn't excuse her words to you....letting go and nurturing individuality (aka difference) is a part of being a good parent.

If she had some metaphysical knowledge herself, she would know better than to push and pressure an Aries with Taurus Moon if she wants those grandkids. Aries doesn't take orders and Taurus hates being pushed.

I don't know anyone with this exact combination but can totally imagine. My ex has Gemini Moon so he gets really communicative when stressed but at least he has Mercury in Aries so he makes his point fast!

Capricuarius - Oh how I've tried having her understand. We're quite similar in nature though... get this - she has Taurus rising, Aries sun, and a Libra moon. I have Gemini rising, Aries sun, and Taurus moon. I have Mercury in Aries, she has Mercury in Pisces. Needless to say, we butt heads a lot but at least her Pisces sun, Sagittarius moon sister (whom I don't really care for either... needs to shut her mouth sometimes, ugh.) agrees that my mom can be critical sometimes. She's very nitpicky and has always been a hovering kind of mom which gets invasive and annoying after a certain age. I mean I guess I still love her and everything since she does a lot for me but it drives me nuts.

She's been trying to make a point to me for the past 23 years of my life, but I STILL have no idea what she's trying to say to me. She's gets all whenever she gets upset.

Now its starting to get freaky. My dad's mom was also psychotic and she hated my mom and thus hated me. My dad was very much momma's boy and therefore he couldn't stand me as well.

As much as I can't get along with him, my dad is still a model of accomplishment that I do look upwards to. My dad led a very hard life and succeeded against all odds. He was a banker. Yes, I-banker (Like your dad). His dad was also a banker. His dad's dad was also a banker. Its in the genes I guess.

My dad's a Pisces Sun (Like your dad!) with a Capricorn Ascendant (Like you dad!) and Capricorn North Node (as in very Capricorn). His Mars is Aries (Like your dad!) and his Venus is also Aquarius. His Saturn in Pisces. His Mercury is Aquarius. Jupiter in Saggitarius. Uranus in Taurus. Mars in House 4, Sun in 3, Jupiter in 12, Venus in 2. March 1, 1936. Explosive temper like a powder keg! (Like your dad!) He used to throw things out of his office room at his staff and yell at them down the whole floor, plus fire people on the spot, complete with profanity laced speech. Back then, the boss was also the emperor and could do anything he wanted.

The similarities are freaky weird!

wow lmfao this is now a therapy session. I believe capricorns are soooo tough and wise because of situations like this. i think crap gets thrown at us because we can handle this. I am glad everyone is sharing their storie. i have moon square pluto, my mom and i just don't like eachother. i've always had problems with her. but i'd give her a kidney if she'd want to even thought she'd probably reject it.

LMAO! I have an Moon Pluto opposition, I think the same thing. Like my mom told me to walk the dog tonight, he did his business, I brought him in. But he kept farting. She looks at me and says "You didn't walk him, did you? Okay then - where'd he poop? Did you see it? What gully? Over here?" Like I have to explain things so miniscule and irrelevent at the speed of 10 -no, 5 mph for her to be satisfied with the answer. In any case, I still got blamed even after I took him out a second time. Apparently I have control over whether or not my dog COMPLETES his business when I take him out.

Or bring kids into life and then not like them because the kids cannot conform to some idealized image or lofty expectation.

..........

*speechless*

Scary.

If his Saturn in Pisces is conjunct your Pisces ascendant, HORRIFYING. Not only because it's a horrible suffocating synastry aspect, but because my dad's Saturn in Virgo is conjunct my Ascendant in Virgo.

And you and I also have Saturn (Capricornian figure, maybe father figure) in the 12th (secret enemies).

Anyway, I'm going to do your transits and solar return chart (your birthday's coming up! Let's see what the next year holds in store for you) over the weekend, but after that I'm going to see exactly where your father's planets fall in your natal chart. Stay tuned.

Capriquarius,

Thank you so much!
March 1, 1936, 7:55 pm, Penang, Malaysia, +7:30 or +8:00 GMT
December 28, 1963, 10:43 am, Singapore, Singapore, +7:30 or +8:00 GMT.

The switch to +8 was long after both of us were born, but many online software models cannot calculate :30. It's simplier where my mom was born because it was always +8:00 GMT, but I don't know her true birth time... Sigh. Of course, when my parents were born, the f@$king Japanese imposed their f@$king +9:00 JST via oppression and genocide, but we're not going by that crap.

Mother (deceased) was September 17, 1939. Time unknown but at first light dawn, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Thanks so much!
