Best boss i ever had was a libra. Very fair and knew how to get the best work out of everyone.Talaneted leader/organizer i knew was an aquarius sun & mercury, sag moon, pisces venus, mars taurus. Leo midheaven. Very good with people!!! People just followed him. IP: Logged |

natively, sun would be in detriment in aqua tho. not saying this is what we should go by coz sun in aries or leo would be the rational choice if just looking at sun sign and placements in rulership/ exaltation. i just think there's a reason it's not as strong.aqua influence would indeed be nice. and a lot of leaders/ presidents have libra rising and cancer mc. jfk, clinton, mitterand. i find an indecisiveness tho with libra sun leaders i know. it takes so long to decide and if not the right choice so long to back track without contingency plans. a scorp would in theory have more foresight. plus there is a passivity. like if someone steals, in my example, the libra let him stay because he couldn't find a capable replacement. i'm talking oil for ships and millions of $ not staplers LOL! i would not let that pass so lightly. Yes the Sun is in detriment in Aquarius, you're right dear Sand and yet I still think hands down they'd make the most qualified leaders. If I had to choose someone to lead I'd choose an Aquarius any day of the week. I'd want the most unconventional thinking, freedom loving, universal peace spreading, undeniably humanitarian person leading me and if I couldn't have that I wouldn't choose a leader. I'd live on the edge as an outlaw, a rebel to our conventionally suffocating society. I actually don't think we should have leaders at all and I'm in full support of anarchy. What would the people do without anyone to follow? Think and make decisions for themselves? I wonder... IP: Logged |

never heard that. some have insane palaces tho but i dunno if those are "government issued" for diplomatic purposes. IP: Logged |

Whether true or not, I sure like the sound of it. I just remembered Sarah Palin is an Aquarius. =O quote: and a lot of leaders/ presidents have libra rising and cancer mc. jfk, clinton, mitterand.
And Hitler. That Libra rising is charismatic. All the other signs would make great middle managers, accountants, ambassadors.... IP: Logged |

Aquarius doesn't like taking command, though. They wouldn't be good at telling others what to do, which is a requirement in leadership. They can set an example, maybe, but they wouldn't expct anyone to follow them.IP: Logged |

kinda agree with you here. not sure you agree with these but some taoist quotes iv been reading up on.. "throughout the tao teh ching he ridicules such lofty human ideals such as benevolence, piety, loyalty condemning as wholesale artifice all social conventions and scoffing at the notion that people can be ruled by an ideology. he points out that the very need for rule by law and threat of punishment indicates that society has already reached an advanced stage of decay." "the true sage rules the people by rearing and feeding them and by eliminating the sources of strife rather than punishing the consequences" "if we stop looking for persons of superior morality to rule. There will be no more jealousies among the people. If we cease to place value on products that are difficult to obtain. There will be no more thieves." IP: Logged |

Sand, those are some great quotes, thanks for sharing. Very insightful and philosophically astute. quote: amowls**: Aquarius doesn't like taking command, though. They wouldn't be good at telling others what to do, which is a requirement in leadership. They can set an example, maybe, but they wouldn't expect anyone to follow them.
Very true. I'd actually prefer a leader who was reluctant to lead. Which just brings me back to the realization that if I consider the most qualified leaders to be the ones who don't want to lead then maybe we shouldn't have leaders at all.

Yeah she's a joke in these parts and I heard plenty lol. So when I remembered she's an Aqua that gave me second thoughts about what I wrote earlier. But she's probably just a bad example. Oops, I realized I didn't answer OP's question. @ topic: Each would be a great leader when it is in its element. Leo - good monarch
Scorpio - effective cult leader (e.g. Charles Manson) Aries - #1 choice for leading into a battle IP: Logged |

"Leo, Aries or Scorpio?"Interesting information on US Presidents and Astrology: http://thezodiac.com/weird/uspresidents.htm IMO, I'd take a Leo simply because I have a huge crush on Bill Clinton. I'd let him lead me anywhere, any day. IP: Logged |

I do too. Classic evolved Scorpio, rising from the ashes of that scandal. I liked her book, "It Takes a Village." Very fitting for the Aquarian Age. IP: Logged |
