Totally feeling this Neptune/Venus Conjunction. It rocks both people, in a different way, but so similar.

Mars conjunct Pluto is hot and heavy, and almost compulsive; but also very clouding like the effect of Neptune conjunct Venus. Put those both together with Asc Conjunct Sun...what the hell...feels SO good; but something amiss...

It`s wh at Alice Portman sais. She explains unrequited love with the fact that only one person´s Duad chart resonates with the other`s natal chart.

She also sais that women are strongly attracted to their Mars-Duad sign. This is not true for me.
My Duad Mars is in Aquarius, and I have never felt drawn to male Aquarians.

Well, I had two minutes, when I was almost developing a crush on Gerry Butler and he has his natal Mars conjunct my Duad Mars, but that is about it I think. And I am over it.

In my dreams I feel this unconditional love and supportive energy dynamic, something different for a change from what I am use to; very refreshing and feels nice, light and easy.

I am looking at our composite and we have:

Chiron in Taurus at 25 deg 25
Eros in Taurus at 24 deg 58
Valentine in Taurus at 24 deg 22
Moon in Taurus at 17 deg 07

I think that is the energy that keeps manifesting itself in my dreams (devotion and unconditional love).

Also I don't feel heart broken, on the contrary he has a healing effect.

I have similar situation with someone like you do. He and I are both unavailable, moreover, we live in different countries. But the attraction is strong. Our synastry is good, my Venus, Sun/Lilith/NN conjunct his Pluto about 1-2 degrees. My moon is also conjunct his Neptune, my Venus is trine his Mar and my Mar conjunct his Venus under about 4 degrees¡­¡­¡­Hard aspect is Saturn, his Saturn is square or quincunx my Sun, Moon, Venus¡­..The composite looks great. However, the timing is off, we cannot find a way to work out this relationship due to the distance and our own situation. So good synastry and composite don¡¯t mean the relationship will work out.A heavy sigh.....¡­¡­¡­¡­.But there is unconditional love between us(at least from me), we both want each other to be happy no matter whom he/I is/am with.

For me, it's my Pluto conjunct his Mars that is unrequited. So basically, we have the animal attraction but not love.

However, we also have an exact conjunction with my Mars & his Venus. But since I am the Mars person, I seem to desire his love/affection and not the other way around.

Here's our story:

We've known each other since the day I was born & he was just 2 years old. We are 36 & 38 now. The attraction is equal, but I am the one with real loving feelings, he doesn't have them for me.

We were engaged at 18 & 20 (so young and dumb... we've never even kissed) and he left me for another girl. We didn't speak for years, but we both looked for each other on social media over time.

Fast forward to when we finally found each other about 18 months ago. I was engaged and he was single. We initially reconnected so strongly that I nearly called off getting married. Fortunately, I remembered how fickle he is and sure enough, he was back with his ex in no time and I was quickly forgotten.

In spite of the romantic friction, we did revitalize our "best friend" status a few months and we are very tight now (like when we were kids). We have a Venus/Venus conjunction that probably makes it easy for us to relate to each other so naturally. He actually flew into town to see me last week and we spent three days together after not seeing each other for nearly 20 years. It was as if that time had not even passed.

He is clearly very physically attracted to me (he even made a few comments), but since we are both attached, he was a gentleman. I know him enough to know if I were single, he would have been sexually aggressive, grabbing at my butt, etc. Thankfully for my heart, I am attached and was able to have that distance from him. Now that we are older, I would have caved to that animal instinct.

We had good fun though, hanging out until 1am & both of us laughing until our cheeks were hurting. It was genuinely fantastic! However, when it was time for him to go, I cried all the way home. I didn't expect that to happen, because I waved him off with a smile. But once I turned the corner down the road, I was literally sobbing and shaking while trying to drive. It kind of hurt like when he dumped me all of those years ago.

I can guarantee he didn't shed a single tear. He just doesn't feel that deeply towards me.

All of that said, unrequited love has so many factors. For me, Neptune has to come into play in every case of unrequited love I have experienced with hard Sun/Neptune aspects. Me & this guy have a Sun square Neptune configuration too.
