*EDIT* - Pluto experiences in your RELATIONSHIPS...not just synastry :P

Pluto, as I have researched, sounds like a super scary planet to place on such a delicate topic of love and relationships. All these things I heard about control, power, manipulation..it's all nuts!!!

I do hear that Venus/Pluto is a strong love at first sight or HOT relationship...but I don't know..doesn't sound like something that will make the relationship actually LAST. (Guess we'll need some saturn for that)

I wanna know what are people's experiences with pluto in their relationship and how it played out.

Please list The Pluto aspects in Synastry and/or Composite!!

I'll start with my own:

In synastry my bf's Pluto is literally right on my Ascendant. In composite we have Sun 5 conjunct Pluto 5 and its in the 12th house. It's sad to see that at times for me because it sounds like he'll just wanna control me and that I can't pursue my whims being with him. But we are at the point where we can't just leave each other either.

His sun conjuncts my pluto..wouldn't that mean I wanna control him?? Either way, I've noticed already that I've changed...it is scary to me. I've never been in such a self-reveling relationship before..kinda feeling naked!! I guess Sun conj Pluto thing is like for better or for worse. I wonder who feels the need more..the Sun person or the Pluto person?

In composite, we also have Venus-Mars-Saturn stellium in the first house (good thing??) and that is square jupiter.

In synastry, we have venus conjunct saturn DW (but they are pretty wide orbs..4-6 deg).

As for control issues...I'm not really sure if it is..(blame that on the 12th house placement) but perhaps sometimes we indirectly say things to get a type of reaction we want out of each other. (of course, these things are little things..big issues would require us to sit down and talk)

ok .. this is my experience for Sun conjunct pluto in synastry - the Pluto person is obsessed initially with the Sun person, even idolizes Sun and the relationship is very passionate - the Sun person feels empowered and this can endure for a long time if indicators are there in the rest of the chart. However, Sun may find it difficult at times to sustain the intensity and depth that Pluto's craves ... and IF Sun betrays Pluto's trust once too often ... Pluto can turn cold, hard and unfeeling in an instant. The tables then turn and Sun will be the one who tries to move heaven and earth to break down the stony wall that Pluto has raised. And so the power struggle begins! In the end it is harder for the Sun person to survive a breakup (if there is one) than the Pluto person because Pluto has probably purged themselves emotionally long before Sun knows what even hit them.

Pluto is the most intense planet to touch one's personal planets. I have an unaspected Venus. When a Pluto aspected it, it was wild lol
My venus had always been aloof, as the unaspected planets can be. I think Pluto is the most powerful planet in synastry.

When pluto touched your venus, did it feel a bit too overwhelming for you at times that you couldn't bare?

In one relationship I had Sun (me) conjunct pluto and Sun (him) trine Pluto. We both displayed obsessive tendencies. The conjunction had a tigher orb than the trine. I was the sun and it was love at first sight for me. I was head over heels and it hit me in an instant. We did have some power struggles initially but there was always a deep caring and respect.

In another relationship I experienced another sun/pluto DW, conjunction and square. This one was frought with intense power struggles from the outset. I think maybe this had to do with one of the aspects being a square. Also, I found this produced a lot of sexual tension and there did not seem to be a lot of tender feelings. Alot of intense/psychological communication and probing but not alot of caring feelings. He got under my skin in a very weird way, he was oddly posessive but tried to hide it but to this day i am not sure if he actually had real feelings for me or if it was just a strange pluto/intensity thing.

So I guess I have experienced pluto in a couple of different ways i.e. transformative and deep affection and then weird intensity/obsessive feelings without much care and affection...

@Polysigh:

Wow!!! Sounds intense! My bf is the sun and I am the pluto. We did fall hard and fast...it really hit me out of no where. I don't wanna say love at first sight for me because I don't really believe in that......or do I now? lol nah

But it was just so weird when we met it's like a click but I just can't seem to put into words what it was. It was just the aura when we met and the feeling. I am somehwat obsessive about him..and that sucks cuz I don't wanna be obsessive!!

It's been 6 months and I STILL CONSTANTLY think about him. I'd thought so much thinking for the brain, the brain can deserve a break!?!?

I've NEVER been like this before in all my previous relationships...I'm kinda scared! I feel naked around him!! (well...sometimes physically too..but that's rated X haha)

I don't know how much obsessive thinking can go on because sometimes when I think about him and us, I'm so giddy and happy...but at times when I think about him and us I'm SUPER emo and depressed..sometimes thinking he's deceiving me...wow I'm really crazy aren't I? But I'm not a crazy person?!?!?! Hahaha..well I guess now you guys see how conflicted I am.

Pluto is too strong.

Starry...I have experienced all of that in that relationship esp. the obsessive thinking. He was literally on my mind all day, every day for a couple years. Had never, ever before experienced that. Felt very exposed too like I couldn't keep my walls up although I tried. I was going through a pluto square venus transit at the time so I think that had a lot to do with it. It is a relationship that will always remain with me, I don't think I will ever be able to totally forget him. I just can't help that but it feels like a cross to bear because I feel like I will never be fully free of my feelings for him...

Oh, amazing we can relate!!! I guess sometimes it can feel like "a fish out of water" when we're not around each other?

His Pluto Tightly conjunct my Ascendant, My pluto conjunct his sun. I don't know who is more like the fish out of water? But I guess his pluto on my ascendant makes me feel he does control me in some way. I rebel but I submit...to tiny things..and I'm slowly realizing it now.

I am curious, did you and that person you had the same experience with have any sun/moon aspects?? or anything related to 5th,8th,7th houses?

His sun squared my moon but our moons are trine. About the houses, dont know his TOB so can't figure that out. We also had his mars trine my pluto. Also, DW sun/neptune, a couple of hard saturn aspects and a ton of NN aspects...

I can relate to your situation, Starry, and I wish you all the best. Seems like pluto is like a double edged sword. With it comes transformation but you have to be willing to work at it from positivity and not be drawn into the negative side of pluto...

Thanks so much!

Actually, I just realized this now...

We have Pluto Conjunct Sun DW lol

My pluto conjunct his sun at a tighter orb though.

Both wide (5 / 6 deg respectively)..but I am feeling it.

To add to your 2nd experience where you had sun/pluto DW...he is kind of like that...Shows the possessiveness at times, even ANGRILY showed his jealousy at times, but then wouldn't expose much of himself and his feelings. He is a very very reserved individual and alot of his emotions/feelings are suppressed.

When he sees me stare out the window when we lay in bed at night, he CONSTANTLY probes me about what I'm thinking. Literally asking me what I'm thinking, and I just can't answer..but he'll keep asking and asking and asking..(it's strange!)until I change the subject. I feel he definitely wants to get under my skin..not that he's not already well on his way..

We both have Sun in 12th natally..talk about 2 emo slobs in a pod...hahaha..

^ aw hun, were the orbs really tight?

I've learnt a long time ago not to wait for texts. It just makes you feel pretty crap if they don't text back when you're hoping for a response.

It was obsessive to the point where if he didn't reply to a text message I would feel dizzy and sick. And I would think about him constantly everyday and cry sometimes because I felt we connected in such a deep way, but I hated how he was able to detach so easily. It was torture. I hate venus square pluto now. It is not love.

In square,was he Pluto?
I had Moon/Pluto,I was Pluto,I was actually surprised at the way I detached, having in mind how much we were into each other. To be precise,I moved on really easily.

I had moon pluto (1 degree) and I was the pluto. There really was this love hate quality to it. It wasn't easy to move on at all. But then again we had alot of other things going on in the chart.

As for the not texting back part...it really drives me nuts..to the max..so I definitely know about that feeling!

As for my bf, when I didn't text him back once, he was quite angry about it when I was trying to settle an issue we had together that wasn't even related to me not texting him back..lol

Pluto can be compulsive, but I think the control part is that once someone lets you doen, you never fully trust them again. Also you may always keep your guard up.

Natally i have mars conjunct pluto in 1st house in libra and interestingly all the guys i dated have venus-pluto conjunction in their chart, regardless of the sign. So all my relationship has pluto theme to it.

How do i feel? Love at 1st sight is pretty common as pluto has no reasons except gut feelings. Definately obsessive, can't stop thinking of them once they got started. Control and manipulating? If you know the ways of playing/controling/manipulating games, everything becomes your free will to agree or not with their way. Nobody is a victim when both parties understand the ways of pluto influence. Its crazy cos sexual tension is always there with pluto.. but once all emotions are drainned fr the relationship, moving on seems easier.

The current guy has venus-pluto
conjunction in libra in natal chart conjunct my mars-pluto. Very obsessive on my part which i can't understsnd n can't help it. Sexually its crazy, I can't keep my hands off him. -.- Even apart, erotic dreams every other day. -.-

Then again ero-psyche n lilith aspects explain all that sexual energy.

And in composite we have pluto conjunct lilith. I hv nvr been in such sexually charged rship..

Is your natal venus conjunct pluto in scopio too? I think the reason why she knows without you saying could be her conjunction touches your conjunction in the 12th house. I have my guy's psyche/ero midpoint conjunct my eros in my 12th house and it works for us..

The most intense synastry I had with Pluto was with my Scorpio ex . . . my Venus and Pluto were conjunct his sun, mercury, and saturn . . . all within a 2 degree orb max, most of the aspects were less than 1 degree. I don't know if I will ever find passion like that again. But let me tell you, the good comes with the bad. The REALLY bad. We fought like there was no tomorrow. We played games. We made each other miserable. And then the conversations we had, they were incredible. We really got each other and loved to talk about the deepest parts of human emotion. I could talk to him forever.

We don't talk anymore, it all ended very badly. It was not a healthy relationship.

His pluto also sextiled my Neptune, which is probably why I always imagined our relationship would get better. Should've gotten out of it much earlier than I did, tbh. On a wider 7-8degree orb his Pluto was also conjunct my Venus and Pluto, but I think that's probably too wide to count.
