Ive only met Venusian Aquarians, Pisceans, and Cancerians. Being a Piscean (western) and Aquarians (sidereal) I'm curious if you guys (hopefully having different venus signs) love different as well? Or at least show your love differently.I find I relate to both Venus in Pisces and Aquarius. Pisces where I do become selfless and more focussed onto the other persons needs, happiness etc. But I show it through acts rather than verbally expressing it (Aquarian side of me) and somewhere inside I hope that's enough! I have mostly planets positively aspecting my Venus I also have a q, because I have moon and Venus in Pisces, if I don't have the conjunction nataly, is that aspect non-existent? How does each Venus sign love/like to receive love? Are you different towards my approach? IP: Logged |

In high school, I was the one looking at the teachers rather than my peers. I act witty when I want to attract someone. My style is to have a way with words. Talk my way into someone's heart.. and brain. -Venus in Gem. IP: Logged |

Just for myself, I say Venus is not so much to do with love as it has to do with attraction and charm, which are the initial tactics to begin a loving relationship, but not the meat of the relationship. I say that because how I attract someone is very mars and venus conjunct in Aries : I'm very forthrightly flirtatious, I attract by using my ability to be exciting and fun, making time with me thrilling and making my object of desire want to come back for more. But when I am in a long-term relationship, those Venus/Mars in Aries qualities peter out and I am way more like my Scorpio moon, in that I love very slowly but thoroughly and deeply. Not Aries style love at all. But I attract love like Aries. I love with my moon. IP: Logged |

I feel the way I attract has more to do with my rising in sag conjunct jupiter, uranus and the great attractor. I attract bc I am interesting, different, optimistic, intellectual, charming, direct and nice.My Venus in Leo represents more what I need in a relationship which is fun, passion and attention which I also give right back, I like to instill confidence in people and that is my way of giving attention. Oh and my venus in the 9th very much needs a partner who wants to travel and explore new territory. I very much need fun and adventure. My moon in Pisces represents more how I love which is with all my heart and unconditionally. IP: Logged |

The way to my heart is intellectual connection, so in a way I guess that's how I love. I'm a venus in libra and I love witty banter, conversation. I listen, I am very compromising, understanding. I do alot of little things, and big things and I show my feelings through actions and words. I can be a total romantic (but not in a trite way) I am great at knowing what my boyfriend wants without him saying much. Comes intuitively. I guess I can be pretty charming when I need to be. I am really into an honest understated type of person. I don't like grandiose exclamations of love. I don't do it either. I say things I mean and you'll just see it through my actions. I keep my promises. I like intensity without the drama, the ups and downs. I like a harmonious relationship so I'm not one to really rock the boat. IP: Logged |

Yes. Communication, romance. There have to be common artistic tastes, also, a love of music especially. I'm big on compromise, too. IP: Logged |

Venus in Sag.... I need freedom, if you smother me I don't like you anymore, I need to be adventurous and to travel, but with a partner, not a platonic friend or alone. I need to laugh, A LOT. He must be funny and he must not complain all the time. A marriage where we live apart would be ideal for me! This is why I'm 38 and still single!! If you fawn over me and be all sickly sweet I'd be very bored too.IP: Logged |

Yes, yes. A blending of reason and sentimentality.Gifts, poems, songs.. Ahhh yes. And intellectual stimulation, of course! But my Virgo Moon is a bit cold, so it can be difficult to express my emotions. IP: Logged |

I think virgo moons aren't cold, just really reserved. I think the guy just needs to stick around long enough and prove themselves trustworthy enough for you to let down your guard.I have come to realise, I'm actually totally mushy -_- when I do fall in love. Usually I'm quite in control, but then I become like watery as hell lol. Virgo placements do that to you I guess. One guy even asked me while kinda hysterical if I was playing him. So since I've only ever fallen in love with one person, I have come to realise I'm pretty different when I'm in love. Can give sb affection, but my heart stays locked for some time. IP: Logged |

I like Virgo placements, it's my 5th house and (obviously) my Moon sign, so I'm comfortable with the energy. And contrary to popular belief, Virgos *are* sensitive, but as you said they are reserved, unless they truly trust someone.IP: Logged |

I 100% agree with this. The Venus sign is really just what you might find physically attractive and gravitate towards, but it's that all important moon sign that really makes me feel happy, secure and loved. I love with my moon too and try to give my partner what his moon needs. IP: Logged |

quote: A person born with Venus in Taurus seeks relationships that endure the test of time, with endless patience and unwavering commitment they choose stable and comfortable investments rather than take a chance on a brief and unstable courtship. The person needs tangible expressions of love and they gain a feeling of pleasure through the body with plenty of tactile affection.Venus in Taurus is grounded and committed in relationships and loyalty will be very important. Typically the type remains steadfast in their affections; they are sensual lovers that enjoy natural surroundings. Similarly, they often have a strong sense and appreciation of touch, texture and form. The person values luxury, attractiveness and can have expensive taste, preferring good food, perfume and clothing. Above all, they have a genuine appreciation of the best things in life. This combination has a tendency to attract material resources, so their prospective partner’s wealth may be important and reflects back a feeling of being valued and appreciated. Usually though, they may be slow to enter relationships, unless they feel the partner is fixed in his or her affections. Taurus is also a jealous and possessive sign, and they feel threatened by rivalry. This sign is very security-conscious and people with Venus in Taurus tend to regard a partner as a possession, and want to secure their affection permanently. By nature, Taurus is a traditional and conservative sign, and they need a relationship to be solid and enduring. The person is determined to keep a partner; moreover, it is quite likely that they want a partner to support their lifestyle. Venus in Taurus loves art, painting or music and they have an affinity with nature and love flowers and plants. Usually they take great delight in lovemaking and its sensual pleasures; they admire strength and stamina in a partner. Venus in Taurus commonly appears in the charts of those who marry well established-sometimes older- partners. Charming, sensual, sophisticated and attractive, Venus in Taurus also appears in the charts of people who make excellent escorts or are used as ornaments to aid their partner’s in their business dealings. Eating disorders - the dark and vulnerable side of this placement, are one of many of the possibilities that beset individual with an afflicted Venus in Taurus.

I like venus in taurus =) affectionate, romantic, consistent and loyal! Even though I have an air sign venus, I wouldn't want sb else with an air sign venus unless it's libra too. Aquarius is too detached and cold, gem is much too flighty. I need a fire venus or an earth. Don't really want a water. They're kind of prone to manipulation.IP: Logged |

I just don't buy Venus as love, I think she's all about attraction and socially fitting in, and the eros charged lust...but love in the long term, not really. Venus is not really known for her fidelity and she is pretty fickle in general. I would look to the moon. Yes, I realize other things have been said, I just see it differently. As a Scorpio Venus I can honestly say that I attract with it and I act out with it during dating, but once things become established, it's my moon which does the lovin'. Or, the hatin'. And it's alternatively both since it's in Aries Anyway, here is an old post about loving with the Moon or Venus, excellent, IMO.... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006015.html
