Sand, that's really sad about your Aunt and eerie that she was a Libra. It's been a tough few years for all of us being affected by Saturn in Libra.

Sidenote: you usually have your Saturn return in your late 20s, 28 - 29th years because it takes Saturn about that long to transit the whole zodiac from the date of your birth. And that return lasts well into your early 30s. When you start to feel claustrophobic and like the world you've been living in for so long suddenly feels suffocating, you'll know it's Saturn dancing in your neck of the woods. If you're already feeling it then it might have already begun.

Haven't read through all the posts....

But I get the frustration. The conjunction of transiting Saturn to my natal Libra Mars has been an enormous pain in the a**!! A lot of stop-and-go in the energy field. Libra Mars on it's on is hard to deal with as it adds a bit of a passive-aggressive tendency in me. I'll want to act on justice, but the fear of a fight and the wanting of keeping the peace makes me hold back.
Saturn has made this extremely annoying.
Not to mention, the transit was through my second house.

BUT Saturn teaches. With every Saturn transit there is a lesson to be learned. Hopefully once Saturn goes direct again I will learn how to manage my energy properly. To act on things the way that I should.
Also, I hope that I learn to manage my resources properly (Mars in 2nd= money comes, money goes!).

Saturn going retrograde though is also a scary thought. I just realized, Saturn just ended it's transit through my boyfriend's 12th house. During that transit, his grandmother became very ill and just passed away (was a huge loss for me, still can't see where it hit me astrologically though...). It just began it's transit through his first house and he started to "understand" and cope with the death. I am worried with it going back into his 12th, something may happen with his grandfather. He is in his late 70s. I hope this is not what is means.

(also hits his Mars and Mercury as well)

I'm a cappy and I looooooooooovvvvvve Saturn! It can be a tough planet but if you learn the lessons and work with the energy it makes you stronger. It was squaring my sun and mercury this summer and it was tough...I was very depressed and everything was magnified suddenly. It's in my 12th house now and soon going to Scorpio , my ascendant...don't know how it'll be.

To give some an idea of the benefits of Saturn, I'll use my ex as an example: saturn has been going over his ascendant for the past two years (he's libra rising). At first, he went through a period of depression over his purpose in life, shutting out people, feeling very low about his achievements generally. he's a starving artist. Because he has a lot of Uranian influence which sits on his ascendant as well and as a go getter devil may care Aries he hasnt' cared about that...But last year, he's returned back to get a degree to increase his credentials. Saturn is also opposing his sun in the 7th house: he's become much more conscious and willing to fulfill his responsibilities...It' just great to watch him GROW UP suddenly...
So this is what saturn is about...lessons and rewards!
