I hate being a mars in cancer . Mostly because it can make me have qualities in myself that I can't stand in others (and often qualities I will condem in others). Mostly, being timid, mousey, unsure, indirect, and too sensitive. I want to be a manly-man in bed, and well, it just doesn't happen!!! I am trying REALLY hard, but's so much easier said then done. Not to mention my mars is directly opposed neptune. Also opposed saturn, and uranus.I wish my mars was in a fire sign ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

I totally sympathize. I wish I were born three weeks later when Aries went into Mars. Then I'd be kicking butt and taking names. Alas, I have Pisces Mars... which doesn't bother me because it causes issues in my life. It bothers me because it does nothing for me! I feel like it's filler space in my chart. It's like that friend everyone forgets to invite to the party but they come anyway and everyone's like, "Oh... hi Pisces Mars... how's work? Can't find a job? Oh, okay... Well, I need to go... call someone or something, bye." My boyfriend has Cancer Mars square Aries Jupiter. He has a very "wild, wild west" mentality when it comes to life and work, but he can also be very timid with his personal affairs. It took him a year to make us official... IP: Logged |

I also have an Aries Asc(24 Deg) with mars in Cancer(27 Deg, 4th)[square], not to mention mars is my only retrograde planet, opposing venus (23 cap)[grand cross]. Mars goes retrograde the least of all of the planets and rightfully so, I have had to learn some hard lessons with mars as a kid, being challenged so much by others and being timid in my mars expression, confidence and otherwise. One thing to think about with the cancer mars people is the placement of your moon (considering it rules your mars!), I have my moon in pisces (18) in the last degrees of the eleventh, attributing to my energies being motivated with the people in my close personal sphere (cancer), in relation with being engaged very sensitively. Add a one degree conjunction of pluto and mercury (scorp- 22,23) and... What do you see? hehe, hope that was helpful.IP: Logged |

Well said, I was typing my last post as you put yours down. We all have our charts, challenges, gifts, and the freewill to channel these things into constructive avenues along our lifetime. Our souls are on different journeys, and we are here to learn different lessons, and in different lifetimes, this is YOUR karma to fulfill.IP: Logged |

I loved what you said, but my problem is that I don't sense my Pisces Mars in myself at all. Perhaps that's the nature of the placement. I will always wish I had a stronger Mars, if not to know what it's like to have an active Mars. I'm not hating on myself... I would just like to know what it's like. IP: Logged |
