I have Jupiter in the first, too, (in Pisces) and I am not fat. I do struggle with overindulgence, though, so I could see that happening to someone with Jupiter in the first, including me (hopefully not for a long time in the future!!).  IP: Logged |

i have jupiter in the 3rd in cancer. i love mental challenges, learning everything that i can, and sharing views of life in general with virtually anyone i meet. i think its contributed to my story telling as well and for being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel whenever im down. i feel like i sort of need some sort of mental stimulation to feel content, otherwise i get really restless and useless. so reading, writing, poetry, i love to read difficult literature, making things and art. im pretty much cheerful majority of the time when im around other people although my strong saturn and earth makes me reserved. its pretty rare that anyone would ever see me lose my composure or not saying something fairly optimistic. im always ready to give advice and it mainly centers on seeing the larger picture or a more worldy/spiritual perspectice because thats generally how i view every experience in my life. some of this could contribute to my jupiter opposing neptune/saturn/uranus in the 9th. I have this placement too. Does the sign influence traits at all? I have an easier time using the ol' "Ask and you shall receive" mantra. My visualizations often come true and I think it's also easier for me to find peace than others. I'm philosophical but really private about my thoughts concerning this which I wonder if it's the effect of the 12th house or if it's my Mercury sq. Saturn. I get my way a lot but with it being in the 12th house that I've been told is our "blind spot", others see me as being unappreciative or taking my luck for granted. I see a lot of coincidences but am still working on concluding if there's a meaning to them or not. So far, I don't think there is yet. But they're definitely weird.
OH and I also just barely escape potential car accidents, sometimes within inches.

I think for the most part, yes. I am impulsive and hedonistic by nature. The only "indulgence" I don't find myself attracted to is gambling, which I will do/have done, but I can easily stop after losing $20 or winning $20. In general, I love having a good time and for the most part will have a good time instead of doing what's better for me. Jupiter in 11thHad horrible experiences both as a child and teenager with groups and friends. Am pretty popular in college though. I think that Chiron in the 11th is responsible for the misery in my early life. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in my 4th house in Cancer.It's funny because me and my mom never get along, we're always fighting, but it's never serious. We are completely different. Aside from that, i hate travelling for too many days, i miss my house so much, i get really anxious just to get here. Me too--on everything--though I have Jupiter in Pisces (I do have it in the 4th house like you do, though). Except for hating to travel. I don't get along well with my mother, either.
