I can't find the thread but somewhere on here I read that these placements should only marry eachother. That the feeling is mutual and that their 'flightiness' doesn't apply when they are with their own kind. Can anyone comment? Is this true?IP: Logged |

Venus in Sagittarius doesn't equal flightiness. But it does demand passion, stimulation and expansion--all three! And to answer the other part of it, I'm not sure. I don't think it is necessarily so. I seem to really enjoy Venus in Leo. A lot. Like, a whole lot. IP: Logged |

I have this placement. By no means am I flightly, at all. What I do need is someone adventerous...Also non judgemental AND down for anything type of girl. Aka, someone who is not down on some "out there" idea I have for a date or NEVER says no to something they have yet to try. Someone who is exciting and not boring. A weekend in for movie marathons is not bad as long as good discussion and tasty craft brews is involved. So in that sense "excitement" is subjective.IP: Logged |

My best friend has this and she's not into the idea of boyfriends because she hates having to "check in." As in ALWAYS telling a boyfriend where she's going or what she's doing. She also hates having to ask "permission" like let's say she wanted to go out of town on a whim, she doesn't like the idea of having to call to "ask permission" first.I wouldn't call her flighty, just not into being tied down. I've Venus in Gem, and sound just like amowls bestie. It's part of the reason I don't want a boyfriend right now. Too much of a hassle and I like my freedom. Maybe I'd do well with a Venus in Sag.... IP: Logged |

Ok so cancel the bit about being flighty! (I am Venus in Sag too) I just recall someone saying they should always marry their own kind. My Dad is Virgo sun and Cap moon, my mum is Leo sun and Sag moon, not compatible....BUT they both have Venus in Sag, does anyone know anything about the theory they should stick with their own?IP: Logged |

Another Venus in Sag here!(I also looooove Leo placements! heheh) I really enjoy someone who is as broadminded and as enthusiastic as I am. My Pisces ex-husband had Venus and Mars in Pisces, Capricorn rising... and he was a boring old stick in the mud. We were both in our 20s when we married and he always acted like he was already 45. He taught me about everything I DON'T WANT out of life! IP: Logged |

My parents both have venus in aqua and husband and I both have venus in Leo but I Love even more a venus in sag or mars in sag since I have both venus and mars in leo.... Oh wait I forgot to mention that my venus and mars are in the 9th so me dating a venus sag would confirm your theory too!

[QUOTE]Originally posted by RegardesPlatero: [B] I don't mean to be rude, but wouldn't it be impossible for them to have Venus in Sagittarius? You can only have Venus in up to two signs before or after your own sign. So, the possibilities for Virgo would be Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio. For Leo, it would be Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Libra. (You're a Libra with Leo rising, right? If that's the case, you could have Venus in Sag, but they could not). I can't believe I never picked up on that! I looked them up somewhere a long time ago and for some reason always thought it. That never occured to me! I'll have to look again.

Too much hassle![/ QUOTE]I am thinking that is your gemini in the 7th, I have it too and am a bit annoyed by relationships bc I Like my freedom and find them too much work but since I have NN in the 7th I end up sticking to them. Venus in scorpio may run away from relationships bc it fears intensity perhaps, repressing scorpio energy, but not bc is too much of a hassle IMO.

I'm a Venus in Scorpio libra sun My bf is a Venus in sag and Scorpio sunNot really compatible signs but we are doing great! But my bf is not flighty at all. He is freedom loving as I am with my privacy. Two people together should learn to give each other space and respect each others privacy. I seem to be the one that's more like a sag than him as sometimes he can be "too serious" (typical Scorpio?) I always wanna go travel somewhere and I spur him along. But when Venus in sag people are really in love, they will be very sweet considerate and committed to their lover. As for me, my bf def. loves passion. I love passion but I'm also a bit goofy :P or as my bf describes me - "like a 4.5 year old kid." IP: Logged |
