Cancer/Virgo is best as the aspect is sextile, which is beter than a square. Nice and simple.

Great post RegardesPluto!

Cancer and virgo are both clingy and needy and so i think they would be last to break off any relationship they're in with any sign. I probably would've stayed with the virgo guys i've been with if i weren't so young...and i would've been happy even though i was bored. But i would've been happy just because cancer isn't an independent sign and likes to have companionship at all times. So i probably wouldve sacrificed passion for stability and security. I would've done that if they didnt eventually have to move away, because i resist change, and bc i was already emotionally attached, it wouldve been too unncomfortabe to let go, so i just wouldve avoided the fact i would miss them if they left and stayed with them. But i feel that libra makes me feel alive, something virgo doesnt do. Aries is also passionate, but i think libra is better. Virgo understands my needs way better and can meet them 100% e..but i'd rather try to compromise with a libra who can be my best friend as well as my lover than be bored with a virgo who i could never be best friends with.

Woah! 5. I've only loved one guy out of them all. I originally thought I loved one of my cappy exes, but realised afterwards that it wasn't love.

Are you sure you were actually in love with every one of them? Cos yeah. Most people don't really truly love that many people in a life time, unless they're like old. Like I can see it being possible if they're like 50 or something. My idea of love is like ^ RegardesPlatero's post. Too bad that doesn't come that often.

Just curious again: have the Libras that you've liked had Venus in Libra as well?

And the Virgos that you've found unappealing: do you know their Mars or Venus signs?

I've only really liked two libras, and they had the same birthdate. One had moon in scorpio and the other moon in sagittarius. I'm moon in leo. They both had venus in virgo and mars in aries. (i love venus or mars in aries sooo much!) I also like venus or mars in capricorn and taurus for some reason. Venus in virgo is awesome because it's shy and sweet and i love shyness...but i hate mars in virgo bc hey hold back their passion. Mars and venus in libra never interested me much...too passive.

There was a libra who liked me very much, but I didn't like him. He had moon, mercury and mars in virgo and venus in leo.

The virgos I loved but was bored with:
One had moon and mars in libra, and mercury and venus in leo.

Another had sun and mercury in virgo, moon in pisces, venus in leo, and mars in libra.

And the other one had moon in capricorn, mercury in virgo, venus in leo and mars in libra as well. That one was probably the one I had the most fun with, maybe due to his ascendant which i have no idea what that was. It was probably in a fire sign as he was really high energy and enthusiastic.

So as you can see they all had mars in libra and venus in leo. Weird!

I guess my idea of love is different. I can love someone very much, yet choose not to be with them for whatever reason. Yet, I still love them. I still want to suffocate them with affection and be kind to them and i still just "love" them. I just do! Can't help it. I don't really know what the difference between love and being "in love" really is. If you like someone, you like them. Shrugs.

i remember in Love Signs, Linda opens the chapter on Libra and Cancer with a part of a poem from venus Trines at Midnight it goes:

".. its like you told me once,
if we never saw each other again
it wouldn't make a difference

you didn't say it wouldn't matter
you said.. it wouldn't make any difference

and did you know i understood the naunce?
it was so long ago.. but did you know?"

..it seems she believes (I too) that its a pretty difficult match, although there is more than enough love flowing in both directions..

i actually lump cancer ladies into 2 piles lol, cranky and emo. the one i was with was cranky. i dunno what makes them cranky i'll check again if i remember their bday right. if they have more water= emo. i like cranky better coz the emo i get overwhelmed with all that feeling. the cranky ones are soo cute when they're madd!

Hmm i've never really found cancer women to be cranky? There was this one girl I remember...hated that evil little thing lol. But all the other ones were really sweet and always cracking jokes? One of them could be emo sometimes, but not cranky. But i remember them all being very high energy and very talkative. Except there was this one japanese cancer girl she was uber quiet and ohhh so sweet. Not a cranky or emo bone in her body, though. She was sweetness all around. I think i've met more cranky aquarius, scorpio, virgo, and libra women lol.

IMELDA MARCOS! A classy lady my grandmother knew when she was younger.

My Cancer bf and I are "boring" to outsiders because we prefer to be homebodies (me more than him), but we do have a lot of fun together! We make our hikes special, cuddle in bed a lot and read, go out to matinees together, etc. I guess we're just an "old" couple... And there's a ton of love, passion, and playfulness in our relationship still even if we don't go out and do crazy things together. Let me tell you, our board game duels are super exciting, lol. VERY competitive. I don't think either one of us is "too serious". I guess we're just very comfy people who like to keep to ourselves and work hard. It also helps to get a lot of distance from each other when either is in a bad mood.

Ooh you are a cancer, and ur asian too, right?

Thank you for sharing. That actually made me feel better about things getting boring between two non-outgoing people.

Additionally, my experiences with other signs:

Aries: A lot of attraction (I'm Libra Rising), but usually nothing in common. Different interests and our meetings tend to be ill-timed.

Capricorn: A lot of sexual tension, but I've only hooked up with one. Very attentive, but also aloof. It didn't really foster within me a romantic or amorous sentiment towards him. We remained friends after a brief summer affair.

Virgo: Dated two. Very different results. One was dramatic and intense. Ended badly, and lasted far too long. The other was passionate and exhilarating - a breath of fresh air. Only lasted a few months, but we're still friends after all these years. Interestingly, they were born only 4 days apart... The first was an Aquarius Moon, the second an Aries Moon.

Libra: I have quite a few close Libra friends (I'm also Libra Moon), but we don't seem to have an attraction for each other. We have similar temperaments and interests, but there's just no spark. It's more of a kinship.

Yessus.

I think there's a difference between stagnation and becoming comfortable in a relationship. There's nothing wrong with being comfy as long as both parties are happy. I'm just generally a sedentary person - I like to read, write, research, sometimes watch tv or a movie when my bf wants to. He'll leave for work and find me sitting the exact same spot that he left me. Some people would find that irritatingly boring. I think he appreciates that he knows where I'll be and that I'm consistent. My bf is the more outgoing one - he'll go out for drinks with the guys, gets invited to parties more often, and goes to a lot of meetings during the day. I think... we spend 75% of our time together at home, and the rest out and about for social things and dates here and there, like I mentioned.

There's that - and a lot of sweet, sweet lovemakin'.

I agree with what you said about cancer-gemini.

We both have diffrent drives but because the two signs are close they should be able to work together at least.

I find that Gemini-Cancer benefit the most from a parent-child relationship or even almost a brother and sister relationship.

I find I get along best with Cancer/Leo's or late cancers on the last week before the cusp.

I'm pretty grounded even for a gemini because of having plenty of saturn, so "Homebody Cancer" isn't a problem.

Spool, i get along with geminis . I just dont think it's as passionate as with libras, because they are a fellow cardinal sign. Cardinal signs are more passionate than mutables. Leo moon, venus and mars = i love passion. Lol.

I think gemini is too happy with the status quo for me. i get bored. They are too adaptable, too moldeable. Lots of fun as friends, but as something more i couldnt see myself with someone i thought if as "kind of lazy" Heh...

One of the things that I appreciate most about her is that she is fairly intense with relationships (though has a very quiet outer persona--I strongly suspect that she may have a Virgo ascendant as well as having Venus in Virgo, though I don't have her birth time), but not overwhelming. She cares deeply for people without being smothering or possessive (me being Venus in Scorpio, I try to learn from her on that one!).

I appreciate that you appreciate this.

Lol nevermind. I realized that i find the masculine sign guys superficial and self-absorbed. It's clearer to me now than ever what the differences are. I've had a life long battle between which I should go for the passion or the boringness of someone who I have nothing to learn from, but what I didnt realize before is that it comes down to this: Masculine signs are not as serious, not as deep, and not as sensitive or good at psychology as the feminine sign guys. I've known lots of air sign and fire sign women and men who only had their sun in a masculine sign and the rest of their charts were earth and water (about an equal mix) and they were Still what I felt was superficial and insensitive.

So my virgo guys may be sensitive and not as fun to hang out with but they have real substance. They really think things deeply and feel them deeply and think about how their actions will affect their consequences, and best of all they think about the psychology of humans beings and are careful, methodical, and sensitive. I really need someone who is like that last sentence because i am so sensitive, shy and complex being a cancer sun. They may try not to care about emotions, but in the end they are just as emotional as i am and they probably cant ignore their emotions for long.

I feel so relieved that I am for once and for all certain that i belong with the feminine signs. I guess it gives me a great peace of mind, security being the important thing that it is to me being a cancer sun and all
