Houses that have a few planets in em, like a stellium in the 3rd, could give a Gemini look to the person, esp. if there's more than 1 personal planet in that house.

A Scorp ASC person could resemble:
-someone w.Sun conj Pluto
-someone with Sun, Moon, Venus or Mars in Scorpio
-someone with Pluto on the ASC, or any other angle
-Sun in 8th person

if that Scorp ASC person had an Aquarius Sun, and the person they resembled had Mars in Scorpio, they'd look even more alike if the Mars Scorp person also had,
-Sun/Venus/Mars conj Uranus
-Uranus angular
-Mars in Aquarius, etc.
cos now they'd be matching up on 2 factors. The more factors involved, the stronger the resemblance.

Opposite signs can look alike as well. It happens but it's a bit more rare.

Just think of how physical traits are passed on in a family, astro-wise. Not everyone will have a Gemini ASC, but some may have Sun in the 3rd, or Merc conj ASC, or Mercury as strongest planet.
Maybe Neptune is passed down as well: Sun in 12th, Moon conj Neptune on DSC, Pisces ASC, Venus Pisces on MC, stellium in 12th, etc.
This is easier to look at for immediate family.
