I would like opinions from people who have this placement (Venus in Gemini).
I'm currently dating a Gemini Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars. We've known eachother for 3 years and been dating for a month.
I read on a few sites that people with Venus Gem are flirty, get bored easily in relationships, and don't like to commit. Though the irony with him is that he's normally shy and awkward around people. & as far as I know only had one other gf besides me.

Is this placement true about Venus Gemini? If so, how do you keep them interested?

Well...from what I've seen and experienced, yeah the typical description of gem venus is right on. They do have the tendency to be flighty, into alot of stimulation, really curious and not the most committed. But I can't say EVERY Venus in Gem guy is like this, though most are unfortunately. Would I trust another venus in gem with my heart? NEVER lol.

BUT your guy might be different. Maybe he has alot of saturn aspects, and things that might help with stability and honesty. Usually they're into mental stimulation, so if you have a great mental connection with them, they're be interested. BUT it doesn't mean that will keep them from straying. It really depends on the person though.

I have venus in gemini. It's also conjunct my mercury and jupiter.

I would NEVER just date and drop someone, or be fickle, or anything in the slightest. It's so rude to the other person and I could not live with acting like that.

With that said, there is an inner part of me that wants to sleep around, and date everyone to find the best possible match. I refuse to allow myself to be that way though.

I am not flirt, and I honestly don't know how to very well, but I feel like I could. I always have in the back of my mind, "there is someone better, this person might get "old", I want to be stimulated at all times". I just don't allow myself to be that way.

The thing with that is, saturn might manifest in insecurity, so they might seek validation and cheat just to feel like they're 'loved.' But it depends on the individual. I hope your guy is faithful and honest!

Thanks for being honest :]
I definitely believe no matter what placements or aspects someone has they can have self control. I should know (Scorpio Sun/Mars/Pluto conjunction 8H) ^^;

I'm a Venus in Gemini, and I'm afraid I have my highs and lows. because I cannot go on at same level of committment or being lovey-dovy everyday. One day I'm all head over heels in love and the very next day another person will be on my mind. Its not that I'm not loyal or I'm cheating, its just because I get distracted very very easily and I find it hard to convince myself that I'm supposed to be going like a straight line on a graph with time on X-axis and Love on Y-axis. my graph would be wavy, with steep highs and lows.. but you don't have to worry as long as I'm with you.

hope i wasn't being too technical

Not at all ^^ if anything your helping me understand what he might be really like as a bf. We've met through family (his sun on my ic) and our mothers are very close friends. So I know personally from his relatives that he's not very good at expressing himself, and as a scorpio I have to know what's underneath the surface lol

I feel like this too and have Gemini rising, and Mars in Gemini. I do get distracted very easily but if I'm truly into someone, that's all they are - distractions. At the end of the day my attention will turn back to you. Perhaps it's my Venus in Aries or Taurus moon but still. I feel the Gemini nervousness, etc. pretty strongly.

My boytoy has Gemini Venus. Just dirty text him a lot and he'll keep coming back.

I'm being serious.

But honestly, mental stimulation is key. Gemini Venus MEN (not the women; Venus manifests differently between genders) are attracted to "Mercurial" women: intelligent, communicative, curious, and excitable. You have to keep things mentally stimulating. Both my Cancer bf and I are Gemini Venus. We can be a thousand miles away and still keep each other amused through all forms of communication. And we're both extremely faithful - possessive even. (I like it, and he pretends to not like it. )This morning, I got a random singing card with a kitten singing Jingle Bells in the mail for Christmas. For Christmas, I got him a build-it-yourself mini-catapult. We're always getting each other random gizmos and e-mailing articles to read.

I often say people who are bored are often boring themselves.

I know plenty of Gemini Venus guys from my birth year and the year ahead who are faithful, stable guys who seek excitement without being a total manslut. Yes - it's possible. You just only hear about the bad seeds on here... It's unfortunate, too. I think Gemini-influenced men are hooooottttttt.

I have Venus in Gemini 19 degs. Its opposite my moon and squares Mars.

I don't flirt nor do I get attracted easily.Maybe b'coz Venus is in my 12th house.I do love mental connection above the physical.I can be very committed once I fall in love and expect total commitment from the other. If I cant get that commitment I can walk away without looking back.I love being in intense all-consuming relationship which is also intellectually stimulating.

This could be a coincidence, but,I know one boy lost completely interest in me after I had told him I don't text.
He stuttered at first,'How do you mean, don't text?!'
Just calls and internet but I can't be bothered to text. I send emails, though.
I think his stare was quite blank

^ LOL. I don't like the constant texting, either.
My former Venus Gem used to write me poems, super cute.
He even had the Moon in Gem too (they were conj)
So romantic.

I didn't think about that, I wish I knew what house his venus was in. Though how you described yourself seems a lot like him in a sense :]

Oh wow, Cancer moon/Gemini moon...I love them I don't have much experience with Venus Gems, wish I did to give some info :/ I agree with the intelligence thing, and with keeping them mentally 'busy' .
I had a good male friend with a Gemini Venus and women loved him because he was very attuned to them (but he was not a cheater, at least I don't think so!). He seemed to consistently flock to difficult situations romantically... methinks these guys might like complexity, which is always a good thing to me

Cancer moons are somewhat insecure, an gem moon would only augment his nervous energy. Personally it would make me kinda nervous lol. But then again even with a fixed moon, if he's a bad venus in gem, he can have a fixed moon and still be a cheat.
